Chapter 38 - Reunion

Kofi said to Misaki, "I just remembered the past... where I was born, who my dad and mom are."

Misaki looked at him thoughtfully, "I think this world has awakened your memories."

Old Man Kapil scanned their surroundings, his voice heavy with concern. "There's no one here, Misaki."

Henry, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. "Yes, this place feels completely abandoned. It's like... they've vanished."

Misaki, her eyes narrowing as she contemplated the situation, added, "This world was attacked by someone, I'm sure of it. Whoever lived here must have left, likely fleeing to a nearby world."

Misaki's daughter, standing close to her mother, looked around curiously. "Mom, is this the world where I was born?"

Misaki's expression softened, a hint of nostalgia crossing her face. "Yes, this is where you and your sister, Yavi, were born. It was once a peaceful place."

Old Man Kapil interrupted, his voice firm. "We can't stay here. Let's move to that neighboring world. There might be clues or survivors there."

Misaki nodded, her resolve hardening. "Alright, let's go." She used her power once again, creating a portal that shimmered with energy, leading them to the next world.

Upon arriving in the new world, they moved cautiously, heading towards a large tent they spotted in the distance. As they approached, the tent flaps shifted, and suddenly, a figure stepped out. It was Yohan.

Kofi, overwhelmed with emotion, cried out, "Yohan! We've found you!" Tears streamed down his face as he ran toward him.

Yohan, surprised, embraced Kofi tightly. "Kofi, Old Man Kapil, Henry... why are you all here?"

Old Man Kapil, his face serious but relieved, answered, "We came to find you, Yohan. You disappeared without a trace."

Yohan nodded, grateful. "Thank you for coming. But... where is Akhil? Why isn't he with you?"

Kofi's face darkened as he looked down, his voice trembling. "Akhil... he disappeared after using his ultimate power. We don't know where he went or what happened to him."

Yohan's expression softened, and he placed a hand on Kofi's shoulder. "Don't worry, Kofi. I know Akhil. He's strong. He'll come back. He always does."

The group stood together, the bond between them stronger than ever, knowing that despite the uncertainty ahead, they were united in their purpose.

As soon as the village elder saw Misaki, his face lit up with recognition. "Misaki," he said solemnly, "your daughter, Yavi, is still alive... but she has lost her eyes."

Misaki's face went pale, tears welling up in her eyes. "Where is she?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"She's inside," the elder replied.

Without a second thought, Misaki rushed into the tent, her heart pounding. Inside, she saw her daughter, Yavi, lying on a bed, seemingly asleep. Misaki knelt beside her, gently brushing a strand of hair from Yavi's face. "It's been 18 years, Yavi. I've finally found you," she whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Yohan, standing at the entrance, his expression filled with surprise and confusion, asked, "You're the mother of Sasa Yavi?"

Misaki nodded, still gazing lovingly at her daughter. "Yes, Yohan... Yavi is my daughter and you are also a member of sasa clan."

Yohan, his eyes widening, shook his head in disbelief. "You're telling me I'm also a member of the Sasa Clan?"

Misaki turned to him, her face soft but serious. "Yes, Yohan. You are. The truth was hidden from you for your own safety. Now that you're older, it's time you learned the truth." She took a deep breath, then began to explain the past—the Sasa Clan, their powers, the threats they faced, and the sacrifices made to protect Yohan and Kofi.

As Misaki spoke, Yohan listened intently, each revelation sinking deeper into his heart. When she finished, Yohan sat in silence for a moment, then said quietly, "Master Zephyr... he really put in so much effort to protect Kofi and me."

Misaki nodded, her voice heavy with emotion. "Yes, Yohan. Zephyr did everything he could to keep you safe, even if it meant creating an illusionary life for you. His love and dedication were unparalleled."

Yohan looked toward Yavi, still sleeping peacefully, and then back at Misaki. "I owe Master Zephyr everything... and now, I'll do whatever it takes to protect this family, and our clan."

Misaki smiled softly, though tears glistened in her eyes. "We all will, Yohan. We all will."
