Chapter 15: Relentless chase.

[You need to return to Natalie and Lily, you are in no shape of fighting a hyena or may be another pack of hyenas.]
Crave for blood etched on his face, his eyes closed, concentrating on the surrounding voice.
[This is not what you are supposed to do now.]
"Shut up, I do what I want, you want to use me...right? But what if I die before that" a devious smile etched on his face, as he heard the hyenas sound.
'I don't know, why my hearing is so heightened, this is what helped me to locate the waterfall earlier... hehe,
It's clearly because of you.. right..."
Opening his eyes, he smiled.
Looking in a direction in front of him, "so that is where you are.. he he..."
Buckling the money on his belt, he took out the 'Exterminator', and ran in the direction of hyenas.

A pack of three 1st rank hyenas and the same Lead hyena, standing near a wide rocky canal flowing between trees.
The Lead hyena intimidating, and ordering the rest of the hyenas to follow.
Running across trees after trees with a excited smile, William jumped out of the woods, standing right in front of the hyenas.
Taking heavy breaths he smiled, his eyes shiny and sweat covered his body, "here you are, ha ha.."
[There are four of them, and one of them is a Lead hyena... above all you are exhausted..]
"I can't out run them now, can I? Then just shut up and let me have my fun.."
Alerted from Williams arrival, the hyenas stood sharp on their toes, drops of saliva escaping from their tongue.
William pointed the 'Exterminator' towards them, with a serious face he scanned the movements of hyenas spreading and entrapping him in a semi circle.
The Lead hyena took the back pushing the 1st rank hyenas forward.
The air was heavy with tension, sand flew along with fast wind, the sound of running water in the canal and the chirping of birds added to the tension.
Taking a deep breath, William ran, in the opposite direction, luring the hyenas in the woods.
The Lead hyena didn't budge.
Right before entering the forest, he leaped high and landed behind, the three unstoppable 1st rank hyenas moving with great momentum.
Before the hyenas could turn and change their direction, "aaaah..." yelling with his 'Exterminator' high, he ran towards them.
The hyenas stopped, Their eyes met with William eyes who was already standing next to them.
With a swift slash he tore apart the belly of one of the hyenas and simultaneously placed his other hand on another hyena.
"Devour", a black flame originated from his palm and engulfed the hyena completely in it, making it disappear from existence.
"Ha ha ha... it works.." yelling in happiness and excitement.
With two of the hyenas down, the third 1st rank hyena turned meek. His tail tucked between his legs as his saliva dried.
[How did you know that devour will work on the living ones also.]
"I didn't."
[Did you gamble your life right now? What if that didn't work and the hyena countered?]
"Then, so be it.."
Walking slowly towards the scared hyena, pointing his sword, he smiled, "now it's you turn.."
Losing all his guts, the hyena bet his survival on escaping.
"Not so fast", coiling his sword back, aiming it at the escaping hyena, he threw the sword.
The sharp edge of William's sword pierced the hyenas neck making it fall dead.
[Open it's belly near the forelegs, that is where it's heart is along with the monster core.]
Taking out the sword from the hyenas neck, he slit open it's belly, blood gushed, after ravaging the hyenas internals.
"Haaaah.. here it is.." he raised his hand above, a red monster core soaked in blood, "devour", the black flames engulfed the monster core.
The Lead hyena snarled, it's gaze fixed on William.
Turning his head, "ha ha ha... isn't this amazing, you didn't run this time, looks like you have some conscience..... better than the humans... he he.."
Walking slowly to the previously killed hyena, he kneeled and ravazed it's internal, finding a red monster core.
Devouring it, with a relaxed breath.
The Lead hyena enclosing on him slowly.
[This one will not be that easy.]
[In terms of power, strength and intelligence it is superior than the rest three combined.]
Chuckles! "Don't misunderstand, I was never looking for a easy one."
[Yes I know, what you are looking for is a place to die.]
Sadness striked his face, with his fading smile, tightening his grip on the sword, charging at the menacing hyena.
"Living has no meaning for me, not anymore."
[....]
The hyena running headlong, leaped high with it's canine mouth wide open.
Sliding under it, William stood up on the other side. The Lead hyena landing meters away, it's movements perfectly under control.
The hyena sprinted at William, with a failed attempt to raise his sword or jump at side, the hyena's cannine teeth caught William's shoulder.
"Aaaaaaaaaaah....." William's cry echoed through forest.

Natalie and Lily, naked, enjoying their bath under the waterfall. Their white dresses drying in the heat of sun on a huge rock.
" Aaaaaaaaah" , a voice echoed,
Drawing their attention towards a cry from above the waterfall.
Natalie's eyes widened, her heartbeats racing, her tensed eyes searching for the source of voice above Waterfall.
"That definitely was Master's cry.." Natalie gasped.
Lily stood there, her eyes fixed on the waterfall.
