"Hmm. These weapons look worn out." Aiden muttered as he looked at the wall, where several kinds of swords were hanging.
'They should still help you with your initial goal.' Eden said as Aiden nodded his head and picked one.
"Hmm. This sword is heavier than the one I use." Aiden thought as the sword was thick and needed more strength to operate.
Srrr
Aiden could already feel his title [Sword master] working as he started to get an idea about how to use it.
'It's kind of exciting in its own way.' Aiden thought as a small smile formed on his face.
After selecting a few more swords, Aiden took them to the garden for practice.
…
Swoosh
At the garden, Aiden swung the thick sword vertically down.
Bam
As he did so, a huge impact followed on his arm as he immediately let go of the sword.
"Agh."
Clack
He groaned in pain as he looked at the thick sword on the ground.
"What is this sword?" Aiden found it difficult to practice with it as he frowned.
The effect of his title was working well, as he had an inkling of how to use it, but from earlier, the sword had been backlashing, hurting his own arm.
'Why not try other swords for now? Maybe you can get more ideas after practicing the easier ones.' Eden suggested as Aiden stared at the thick sword.
"Good idea." He muttered as he picked up the thick sword and put it sideways.
"Which one should I practice with?" Aiden muttered as he looked at the other swords.
"This one."
Picking up a sword that was pointy, Aiden observed it for a moment.
It had a sharp end, as if it were meant for thrusting rather than slicing.
"Hmm… Isn't this the sword that was practiced by rich people in my past life?" Aiden muttered as Eden tilted his head.
"There was something like that? I don't know." Eden said as Aiden nodded his head.
"There indeed was. I think it was called something like fancing…No, oh right, it's fensing." Aiden said it with confidence, feigning ignorance about the fact that he might be wrong.
'I see.' Eden didn't know about anything as he nodded his head, taking Aiden's words for granted.
"…Hmm. I think it's because I already have some of its knowledge, but the title's effect is showing more efficient ideas for this sword." Aiden muttered as he gripped the sword's handle tightly.
Swoosh
Instead of swinging the sword like he did with his previous ones, Aiden thrust the sword forward.
'Hmm.' Aiden's eyes glimmered as he had a familiar sensation.
Swoosh Swoosh
Thrusting the sword through the air, Aiden got a feeling that he could put a hole in the air with it as he kept on thrusting.
It was a similar feeling that he had when he was first practicing the sword. The feeling to go beyond and cut the air.
Aiden's focus increased as he soon started to efficiently control the sword.
…
Next day,
Swoosh Swoosh Swoosh
Aiden was in the garden training the fencng sword.
He was satisfied with his improvement with the sword, as he was able to thrust several times at the same time.
Swoosh
Swoosh Swoosh
Swoosh Swoosh Swoosh
Aiden walked forward with each thrust as he also increased the amount of time he thrusted by one.
Swoosh Swoosh Swoosh Swoosh Swoosh
He walked four steps forward, as five thrusts at the same time were his current limit.
'More.'
Still, Aiden didn't give up as he tried to take one more step and increase the number of thrusts.
Swoosh Bam
"Argh."
But it again failed, as he felt his arm hurt.
'…This sword has a very good offense, but it requires more focus and control than any other sword. It's exhausting.' Aiden concluded as he started to understand more about swords.
Not every sword was made for the same purpose. Each sword had a different function.
'Wait, each sword has a different function.' Aiden realized the focal point as he quickly exchanged the fencing sword with the thick one.
'I now know how to use it.' Aiden said as Eden smiled.
'See, my advice is always great.'
"Young master."
As soon as Eden finished his sentence, Louis approached Aiden as Aiden turned towards him.
"…What is it?" Despite having some idea regarding what it was, Aiden asked anyway as Louis gave him a document.
"This is the list of individuals who you will be joining for the mission." Louis said as Aiden took the document.
Taking the paper, Aiden read it as he nodded his head.
"And when is the meeting?" Aiden asked, as that was the real reason this paper was handed to him.
"One hour from now on. I will take you there." Louis said.
"Ok." Aiden said as he nodded his head and looked at the swords.
'I should put them back in the weapon room.' Aiden thought as he picked up all the swords and walked inside the mansion.
As he returned the weapons, he realized that he was drenched in sweat as he quickly took a bath and changed his clothes.
…
'Ugh. This carriage again.' Looking at the same carriage as before, Aiden felt nauseous as he preferred walking.
"What's the matter, young master?" Louis asked as he realized that Aiden had stopped.
"Nothing." Aiden replied as he hopped on the carriage.
"How long will it take to reach there?" Aiden asked as Louis replied.
"It will take thirty minutes." He said this as Aiden nodded his head.
'I should read the document.' Aiden thought as he took out the papers that Louis gave him.
Captain: Ann Hosling

'So there are only six people taking part in it.' Aiden thought as he flipped the paper.

'H-huh. What are these?'
Aiden was lost looking at the document, as he was met with unfamiliar terms that he didn't know about.
'W-window?' Aiden asked.
Ding
[Yes?]
Thankfully, it could hear him through his thoughts as he asked.
'Explain all of this.' He said.
Ding
[A guild is a place where a lot of people come together and serve under a single person who owns the guild. That person is known as the guild master.]
Ding
[There is a small core inside every human's heart that acts as a source of mana for them. This core has six development stages, from 1st to 6th. Each core from the 4th stage has three sub-development stages: first, middle, and final.]
Ding
[Mages are the role that primarily focuses on casting spells, using magic, and mana. The mages at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stages of the core are simply called
'O-oh. Now, I understand a little.' Aiden said as he focused on the information.
'So, these elements mean the type of magic she can do?' He asked, wondering if he was correct.
Ding
[Yes. There are primarily seven elements and their branches. Humans are known to have an affinity for all seven elements, but there are still some limits. A human can, at maximum, have affinity for four elements and, at minimum, zero.]
'Zero?' Aiden thought, as he felt that was harsh.
'Then, how many elements does this body have affinity for, and what are they?' Aiden asked.
Ding
[The body you are on originally had affinity for one element, and it was air.]
'Ah.' Aiden thought as he felt a surge of disappointment take over him.
'No wonder Louis said the previous owner had difficulty with magic.' Aiden thought as he started to reassure himself.
There are other sources that can grant him strength and power.
'Yeah, don't be gloomy over it. You can get strong in many other ways.' Eden also reassured him, as Aiden felt assured.
Ding
[But your race being an energy beast, you have affinity for every element.]
'…'
