Chapter 36 - Members

According to the document, the other three members were actually a party, with Blake Burnhill being the leader.

"This should be it."

Stopping before a black door, Louis looked towards the young master as he took a few steps back.

"Unfortunately, you are on your own from now on, young master." He said this as he stretched his hand, motioning for the young master to enter on his own.

'Whaaat? Why now?' Aiden was not pleased by it, as he questioned why Louis even followed up here.

'…Ugh.'

Feeling helpless, Aiden walked forward as he opened the door.

Clack

Entering the room, he looked behind to see if Louis was following, but Louis simply bowed his head and closed the door.

Clack

'Don't just lea-'

BAM

"Hahaha. Don't just stand still; attack, guild master Ben."

A brown haired guy jumped into the air as he threw several red knives towards a small guy.

Swoosh Swoosh

Meanwhile, a woman who was standing several distances away from the small guy suddenly became blurry as her figure disappeared from the naked eye.

'Are they fighting?'

Frowning, Aiden looked at them as he observed what was going on.

He recognized all three of the individuals, as he had just read about them in the document and seen their photo.

Thump

Swoosh

The guy who just landed on the ground and charged forward was Blake Burnhill.

And the woman who was still invisible was Kate Moon.

'If I remember correctly, this Blake guy is also a fighter who uses small knives that are coated with fire as weapons.' He thought as he looked at the small red knives flying towards the small guy.

The red on the knives wasn't their color; it was heated to the point where it was bright red.

'What will he do?' Aiden thought as he looked towards the small guy, who was wearing a green bandana on his head.

It was the same person he had decided to observe on this mission to learn things, Ben Lionhot.

"This much isn't enough."

Ben muttered as he crouched down and dug his fingers into the ground.

Brrrr

'Huh?'

As soon as he dug his fingers into the ground, the ground shook like an earthquake.

Whoosh

Swinging his hand without any difficulty, Ben moved the whole ground.

Brrrrrrr

Clang Clang Clang…

Every knives was blocked by the ground and rose up from the ground, but that wasn't it.

"Agh."

The impact from the ground knocked down the invisible woman as she fell to the ground.

'She must be Kate Moon, the one with the role of assassin.' Aiden thought as he shifted his gaze from her to the position where Ben was standing.

The fight wasn't over.

"As expected." Blake Burnhill smirked as he was standing right in front of Ben.

He had quickly adjusted himself to the rising ground and used that to reach Ben.

Whoosh

Blake threw the one knife from the ones he was holding towards Ben and charged towards him.

Klang

Ben swiftly dodged the knife to the left as the knife went past him and collided with the rock at the back.

"You are easy to manipulate."

Blake said as everything was going his way. As soon as Ben dodged the knife to the left, Blake immediately swung his right fist towards him.

BAM

'Fast.'

Aiden thought as he observed the fight.

"You move slow." Ben said as he caught Blake's punch before it could hit him.

"…Agh."

Blake groaned in pain as his fist was gripped by a very strong force.

"W-we give up."

Blake said as he raised his other hand in defeat.

Seeing thins, Ben let go of his punch.

"You are strong." Blake said as he lowered his head to look at Ben.

"No. I'm not a dwarf. Fully human." Ben said, as he could tell what Blake was thinking.

"Haha. Sorry for my rudeness." Blake said as he awkwardly scratched his head.

"Kate!" Walking towards the woman who had gone invisible before, Blake and her talked some things out as they reviewed their fight.

As they were talking, a woman with green bob hair approached them as she bowed her head and started apologizing for some reason.

Blake and Kate shook their heads as they started to reassure the woman with green bob hair.

Ben, who was alone, crouched down as he again dug his fingers into the ground.

Brrrr

The ground shook again, but this time, instead of rising like earlier, the ground that had risen up settled down as the ground became flat, just like before.

After fixing the damage he did, Ben stood up as he looked in a certain direction.

'…He is looking at you.' Eden, who was also silently observing everything, said this as Ben was making direct eye contact with them.

'What should I do?' Aiden asked, as he didn't avoid the stare and looked back at him.

'Just show some respect. Man you're awkward.' Eden said as Aiden bowed his head a little.

Looking at Aiden, Ben also bowed his head a little as he started walking towards him.

"Young master. Have you recovered from that incident?" Ben asked as he approached Aiden.

"Yes. Thanks to you." Aiden said it with a respectful tone.

Louis had mentioned the four guild masters who had rescued the previous owner. It was Ben Lionhot, Ann Hosling, Chlory Blueberry, and Cedric Blaze.

Coincidentally enough, he has now met with all four of them.

"Oh. Is this the young master who was recently in the news?"

Blake appeared from behind with his two party members as he observed Aiden.

"Nice to meet you; I'm Blake Burnhill. The captain of the party named Liver." Blake said as he extended his hand for a handshake.

'…I-I don't want to.' Aiden thought, but he reluctantly extended his hand forward to not come off as rude.

"…Aron Belur." Aiden said as he shook his hand.

'You nearly said your real name there, didn't you?' Eden said, as Aiden could only groan inwardly.

'You better get used to that name until you become strong enough to use your own.' Eden said.

"This is Kate Moon; she is the assassin of our party, and her name is Noi Mill; she is the support of our party." Blake said as Aiden nodded his head towards the two. They smiled toward him in response.

'Yea. This would have been more natural if I hadn't read about them earlier.' Aiden thought.

"You are thinking about how a party consists of only three members, aren't you?" Blake suddenly said as Aiden looked at him.

"Well, we have two more members, but they are on separate missions." Blake said.

'Haha. This guy is at his own pace.' Eden said as he laughed.

"I see," Aiden said as he tried to go with the flow.

"So, young master. Since the guild master Ann isn't here yet, do you want to have a one-on-one spar?" Blake said.

'God, I feel like this guy is going to be suffocating.' Aiden thought, as he was already having a hard time keeping natural and going with the flow.

"Looking at the sword at your waist, you seem to be a sword user. Let's spar." Blake said this as he took out his knife and showed it to Aiden.

'How many of those does he have?' Aiden thought as he looked at the small knife on Blake's hand.

"Oh. I will be the referee."

Ben, who was just standing there with his arms crossed, suddenly showed interest in the conversation as he declared himself as the referee.
