As the time went by, next day came with Melissa tired and hangared from all the dresses trial.
Melissa groaning at the prospect of work early in the morning can only be healed by her brother Noah. Who makes amazing tea refreshing her immediately.
"Noah I am telling you if you don't like to do business, open a tea shop I will personally invest in it. Making it world class by doing every meeting giving me headache their." Melissa says while sipping on tea. " By the way why didn't you came for my dress fitting dad? Noah and Neo told me that they are having their exams so they can't come but why didn't you came."
Thakire says putting down his newspaper " because I can't see my daughter leaving me in that dress. I know you make look every dress pretty but I can't see you in your wedding dress."
Melissa for first time gets the feel of finally getting married. She feels a pang in her heart that she has to leave her house where she grew up and move together with her future husband making her all emotions imbalance.
Melissa when proposed the contract to Sirius she never thought about the thought of leaving to much. She only thought about the cosmetic company her mother left behind.
But when the date is coming near she is feeling all the emotions she never knew she had.
Seeing her daughter getting emotional Thakire feels guilty, he tries to distract her by talking about the company and work and he successfully achieved it too but he didn't know that Melissa has taken a root about the topic.
After breakfast Melissa went to office as usual thinking about her morning all the way.
Inside her office, she confront her feelings towards this contract marriage with Ivan.
"Ivan do you think I shouldn't do this marriage at all? I have been having a wierd feeling about separation from my family. Or am I just overthinking all this."
Hearing this Ivan puts his writing pad on the desk, sit infront of her than says " marriage is not only about being tied to one another, no it changes your whole life. The things you are worrying about Sirius would also has his own. He also has his own difficulties about bringing in a new person in his life, change of life style, status and priority. And it's not like your marriage will last forever, it's two years only. Yes that's a different story if you both decide to live together forever I can't say anything about that."
Hearing Ivans advice brought new light on Melissa's thought process. Truely she has the best secretary and bestest friend.
