Finally time came for which they were waiting for,
"Should we go inside?"
Sirius ask Melissa who is staring at her own house.
But Melissa was having her inner talk time (I have already informed them about this guy, still I can't be too sure how they will react for marrying a rival company boss)
"... Yes let's go" Melissa answers him despite the awkwardness coming through.
It was not the only stress for guy be rival but she was also having a moment for taking a man home to meet her family for first time. In the case of Jack he came to her house with his father and in that wedding she was not that involved, her father was doing all the discussion.
After hesitation she finally went inside the gate, ringing the bell the door was opened by Neo.
Neo " hello, come inside father is in living room" saying this he came beside her sister whispering
' why are you so late?'
'What! I told you we will come home around eight thirty '
'And what time is it now?'
Melissa checked her watch and to her horror it was almost nine. (I remember we came infront of the house exactly at eight thirty. Shit I thought only few moments has passed by me hesitating but half an hour passed by, was he standing beside me for this long)
Melissa look towards Sirius with sparkle in her eyes.
"Is their something on my face " after feeling uncomfortable by the gaze Sirius ask Melissa about it
" No, you are looking handsome" Melissa replies with her thumbs up.
"Yes brother in law you are really handsome " Neo also joins her sister giving Sirius another thumbs up.
"What are you all doing lingering on the doorway" Mr Thakire comes out after waiting for few minutes of no show from her daughter.
"Father" Melissa smile instantly and hugs her father.
" Dad he is Sirius Oberon the guy I am going to get married" Melissa says after holding her father hand hoping he doesn't say anything wild.
"Oh, he is handsome " first thing Thakire says after seeing Sirius.
Sirius as a well behaved son in law doesn't show his height by bending slightly holding his hand with a gift bag he was carrying.
"Thankyou for your compliment sir. Oh and this is for you " he gives his gift to Thakire and another one to Neo.
Neo " is this for me?"
Sirius " yes, and I also have gift for Noah where is he"
"I am here " Noah says coming down the stairs connected to the living room.
Taking their both gift happily Noah and Neo has given Sirius extra points in their hearts.
"Now let's eat the food before it gets even colder" saying this Thakire takes every one to dining room with Melissa removing all her facade smiling together with her family.
Every one takes their seats with Thakire being in the head position. Sitting on his right is Melissa, Sirius and on the left Noah Neo respectively.
As the maids start taking out the dishes every one starts eating as all are hungry.
Everyone is eating their dinner while having small talks about their day. Laughing with a genuine smile on every one faces leaving all the tiredness and worries outside. Sirius also loosen himself in such an environment talking about himself to everyone.
"Sirius, come inside my office " Thakire says
