The Eyre Empire is located in the southern part of Eyre. Despite its name being the same as the continent, the Eyre Empire fails to claim all of the lands that it was named after.
However, the Eyre empire still owns eighty percent of the land.
Naturally, the empire was ruled by the one and only Holy Emperor or Eyre. He rules with light, leading people to prosper for many years. However, his rule would not be forever, his life would end shortly after the demon cult war.
That's still far into the future.
The empire remains in a state of civil strife. As the largest and most powerful, someone would try to remove the royal family. But no one could. The Eyre family has a long history of controlling the empire and has always had successors in place when the current emperor dies.
Most of the time it's from the direct line of succession that they have. Any prince could rise to the throne with enough achievement and the vote of people and nobles.
The 13th prince has little to no chance of being the next emperor.
Time is an important factor in a race of succession. An advantage that couldn't be overcome so easily.
"Are you really gonna go for the throne?"
Onia asked curiously, they were drinking at a cafe. In Duke Antores's territories. This place is widely known for its taste and Onia wasn't disappointed. She tied her purple hair up in a ponytail and took another sip of their milk cream.
"Why would you go for a position that has to talk bullshit all day, let go back to the jungle and have fun with me!"
Other guys speak up while having all the lemon juice in one go. The whole glass was emptied in a second.
"Not everyone has a barbaric dream such as yours." Guy guy with glasses sitting at the opposite of the table interjects.
"What's wrong with being king of the jungle!" The guy speaks up "You get the eat fight and sleep that's like all the thing you need!"
"That's why you're stuck at the first circle."
The guy pushes up his glass and smirks at the white hair boy. His argrivate Ghaarsh futhur.
"Then let's see who's the real deal right now!"
He gets up suddenly from his table and grabs the glass guy by the collar.
"Stop it, Ghaarsh." Onia sighed "And Bramon, don't provoke him"
Grasrsh reluctantly let go of Bramon. The glasses guy couldn't help but smile.
"Onia just saved you, city boy" The beast boy sneers
"I think it's the other way around, jungle Jim"
"STOP!" Onia said with a serious face. "Brent help me stop them"
She turns to the 13th prince sitting at another side of the table. However, the prince doesn't seem to want this to stop. He gives a light laugh.
"Yeah you guys could stop," Brent said "Onia here is about to have a heart attack"
"Brent!!" Onia stared at Brent aggressively. "Why do I even bother anymore." She gives up on stopping the quarrel and starts enjoying her tea. She hopes that Klad get here soon. And she doesn't have to wait for long.
"Hello,"
Onia's face lights up as she hears Klad speak. The guy who entered the cafe appeared to be roughly fifteen years old, with sparkling green eyes. Brent also seemed relieved that Klad has arrived.
"What's this about, Brent?"
The person who calls them here is the newest member of the crew. Brent Eyre, after Klad beat him, the man appeared to change and understand his mistake. He apologizes to Klad and his companion, promising to make it right.
At first, none of Klad's buddies like Brent. Only Klad gives him a chance. They have now become friends as a result of Brent's efforts to change himself. Plus, having a prince connection is good.
"I have good news and bad news"
"Hit us with the good news!" Ghaarsh the white hair boy said with a face brimming with a smile.
"Through my source, I finally found trace Theia"
"What!?" Onia perked up in surprise, eager to hear what "Where is she!?"
She has been searching for her sister for a while now but Lmemore proves to be a difficult maze to find someone in. Even the divination priest couldn't pinpoint someone's location without sacrifice, how could a Baron from a falling family have the capital to search for her sister?
The answer is that she can't, without her family's full power, she is but a student with a special mystic power at the moment. In the future, she could definitely do it but she's afraid it might be too late to find her sister then.
Brent finding her sister is a blessing. Further redeeming the guy in their eyes.
"The bad news is that..." Brent's face darkened "We don't know where she is. She was last seen in this district more specifically at the abandoned church and later in one of the buildings. The priest who handled this case is still recovering from the excessive divination. However, he could still sketch the face he saw."
Brent reaches into his shirt pocket and produces a sketch of someone familiar. A slight undercut hair, sharp eyes, and a good-looking suit. Along with a hood figure that could resemble Theia if you squint hard enough.
"My past friend, Reeva Antores," Brent said with a maddening voice "No, he should be just Reeva now. He has been discovered with Theia. Two of them are together with Reeva's personal maid."
"That son of bitch!?" Onia is now the one gumming with rage. She could still remember the day Reeva provoked her and Klad for no reason. It's a good thing that Klad beat them up.
"Lady, Watch your language," Bramon said
"Don't lecture me on this" She is in no mood to talk restrain her words right now "Where are they!?"
"The last divination priest that saw them couldn't talk anymore. But we could ask the person that's still on the case right now. They call him a future high priest, Plutus. I'm not quite familiar with him either."
"let's go talk to him now."
Klad got up and walked out the door, the other followed right behind.
"Wait! I haven't finished my coffee"
Bramon quickly drinks all his hot coffee in one go and proceeds to burn his tongue.
