Chapter 10 - Day 1

Akasha walked around the neighborhood looking for ways to survive for a week.

(I only learned from books about how to camp, but there were too many gaps in the information I needed.)

Akasha had read a book on how to do camping in one of the books at Erina's workplace.

But the book was incomplete because there was a sequel, Akasha never found the sequel. Then when Akasha asked Erina, she only replied that she forgot where it was.

Akasha decided to use the information he had at the moment.

Akasha first looked for a suitable place to live. It was near a clean river and enough sunlight and an area that was quite difficult to approach wild animals and dangerous animals.

After wandering around for a few tens of minutes, Akasha found a suitable place by chance.

After securing a place to stay, Akasha decided to figure out how to make a campfire for the night.

He searched for wood in nature, fortunately the wood was not wet from yesterday's rain.

Having finished with shelter and campfire, the next problem was that Akasha didn't know how to make a tent.

Akasha did not have enough tools to make a tent. Akasha racked his brains while collecting firewood.

*Stomach rumbling*

After hours of wandering around and looking for firewood while thinking about how to make a tent with materials available in nature, Akasha stomach began to sound hungry.

(A new problem arises, what should I do for food.)

In contrast to the knowledge about tents, Akasha had a fairly extensive knowledge about food because Akasha herself lived in the wild and learned from Erina directly.

Akasha learned about some edible and inedible fruits and vegetables but Akasha felt that her knowledge was still narrow considering that while wandering around for a long time but Akasha did not find the food that Akasha knew.

Instead, Akasha often found plants and animals that Akasha had never seen or even read in books.

Akasha is currently in the southern part of Vladimir, a region that is the border between warm and cold climates, meaning that the plants here are warm climate plants.

"For now, I'll put the firewood on first."

(I need to find some fruits too. And some vegetables that can be eaten right away without difficult processing.)

...

After a few hours of searching for food, Akasha finally returned to where she was going to stay.

Akasha body was covered in wounds and dirty, although Akasha reaction to pain was very small but that didn't mean her body could follow her brain which had trouble receiving pain signals.

Akasha body began to fatigue while Akasha unconsciously continued to force her body to look for food without knowing her body was trying to send signals to her brain to stop.

In the end Akasha did not listen to the signals coming to her brain and continued to search for food.

When they arrived at the place where Akasha would be staying, the sky began to darken indicating that it would soon be nighttime.

(It's a problem, I still haven't finished the bedding business.)

After thinking for a while, Akasha decided to use makeshift materials to make a bed from the materials she got earlier while searching for firewood and looking for food.

After putting the food on the wood pile to prevent it from being stolen, Akasha moved back to look for materials to make the bed even though her body should have been nearing its limit.

When Aksaha returned, it was already dark. Akasha immediately made firewood and followed the instructions of the book she had read. But theory and practice are two different things.

After many failures, Akasha finally managed to make a bonfire, but her hands were covered in wounds instead.

As Akasha stood up, her vision suddenly became blurry and her head became dizzy.

(Am I getting sleepy?)

Instead of thinking her body was exhausted, Akasha thought she was sleepy.

'I have to finish the bed first. I need to eat some fruit first.'

Akasha then walked away towards the pile of fruits that Akasha had put on the wooden board earlier.

Akasha ended up finding only a few fruits that Akasha knew, while most of the other fruits were fruits that Akasha thought were edible.

Most of the reason Akasha thought so was because each fruit had a pleasant smell and Akasha also saw several animals such as colorful snakes and black frogs eating some of the fruits Akasha had brought.

Akasha then picked up one of the triangular fruits with a purple-black color.

Akasha put it in her mouth and was instantly surprised.

"...!!!"

This was the first time Akasha had ever tasted food this good. Although it was actually the food that Akasha ate that was the problem, but at least the fruit that Akasha ate was very good.

But Akasha didn realize that the fruit that Akasha brought and ate was a dangerous fruit. And the fruit Akasha ate was one of the poisonous fruits.

What's even more horrifying is that all the dangerous fruits Akasha carries are fruits with lethal effects that will take effect after a few hours. This means that Akasha will be tormented in a few hours.

Even so Akasha just continued to eat the fruits with gusto without realizing death was approaching her.

After eating a few fruits, Akasha proceeded to make a place where she would sleep and a temporary shelter for a week.

Akasha looked at the main materials to build Akasha bed. There was a large log, tree roots, giant leaves, short and small logs, hand-sized stones, logs with pointed ends and hard logs.

Akasha made a hammer out of short and small logs and stones tied together with a rock. Then Akasha started digging to place the big log as the foundation.

After that, Akasha attached the hardwood logs to each other with the big logs with the roots of the logs to strengthen each other. After that, using wood with pointed ends to strengthen the wooden foundation.

Then Akasha tied the giant leaves to each other until they piled up together and put them on top as a roof and secured them with the pointed ends of the wood.

After that Akasha put the remaining logs on the ground and covered the remaining giant leaves.

Finally, after several hours, Akasha managed to finish it.

Overall, it wasn't even worthy of being called a shelter. A normal person could make a better bed than this but this was the extent of Akasha's creativity.

Akasha's body condition was getting weaker making it difficult to think clearly and the effects of the fruit Akasha had eaten were starting to take effect.

(It's done...uhh...my head hurts.)

Akasha, who had never complained about her body before, finally began to feel the effects.

Currently the current condition of Akasha body was too dangerous that the pain signals that should have been weak were now even able to sense the pain signals being transmitted to Akasha brain.

(I need to eat and sleep soon.)

Akasha rushed to the campfire that was still burning, he quickly ate the fruit and fetched water from the river and cooked with the fruit shells.

Instead of resting, Akasha got moving again.

Akasha brought some vegetables and then skewered them onto a small piece of wood and placed it near the campfire to burn.

Fortunately, the vegetables Akasha brought were not dangerous like the fruits before so it was safe for Akasha to eat.

After the water started to cook, Akasha lifted it with the wood, then Akasha also ate the cooked vegetables.

(It looks delicious.)

Akasha then ate the food she made herself with gusto without realizing Akasha ears, eyes and nose were starting to bleed.

After finishing the meal, Akasha prepared to go to sleep but before he could stand up, Akasha lost her strength and fainted instantly with a hissing sound from Akasha ears.
