Shawn was by far really happy and impressed to see that Mirabel's health condition had greatly improved,it's been about three months since he last saw her and he had to confess that she had indeed improved greatly.
Daniella on the other hand was stunned and speechless the moment she saw Mira, unlike Shawn, Daniella hadn't set her eyes on Mira since the day she was revived in the hospital and brought back home, which was over a year ago and hence she was shocked to see her looking even more beautiful than the Mira of last year and despite her childish actions,she still came across as wickedly good looking as ever and with the way Xaden was staring at her, protectively and lovingly holding her to himself was full proof that he still very much loved her even in her madness and she also had to admit that the whole child like thing worked for Mira,it really suited her and brought her to another whole dimension of cuteness.
Mira was still explaining everything that had happened today to her hubby who was listening attentively when Shawn walked towards them with a cute white teddy in his hands behind him.
"Hey Mira" he called out softly causing Mira to immediately stop talking and turn around with Xaden's hands still around her waist and his chin on her shoulder.
Mira's smile became even more wider the moment she saw who it was that had called her name. " B-brother Shawn " she exclaimed happily causing Xaden and Shawn's eyes to widen before they looked up at themselves in shock.
The fact that she was able to remember Shawn's name despite it being over three months since he last saw her was amazing,it was impressive and it was also proof that Mira was getting better by the day.
Shawn's smile widened and his heart fluttered in joy the moment she called his name,he was beyond happy that Mira remembered him,he had only spent a week in Xaden's house about three months back and he had played with her a lot and even got her lots of gifts when he was leaving but never did he know that she'd still remember him after three long months..
It seems it was true when someone said. ' Buy a child candy and he'll never forget you '
Xaden tilted his head sideways to look at his wife in amazement. " You remember Shawn" he asked in wonder.
"Mmmm" Mira replied nodding her head happily and Xaden was even more pleased.
With a smiling face,Shawn stepped forward bringing out the little white cute teddy he'd gotten for her yesterday. " Look what I got for you " he said offering it to her.
Mira's eyes brightened at the sight of a beautiful teddy,she quickly rushed to accept it but not before glancing upwards at her husband whose face was hovering over hers,she was probably looking for a go ahead or something and so on Xaden's nod,she quickly accepted the teddy with joy as she whispered a low yet audible " thank you " still admiring and comparing it's beauty to Puma's.
At this point in Mira's life,apart from her hubby,teddies and food, nothing else mattered to her,not even money and so if a person wanted to get close to her,he or she might as well consider buying her those things first as it was the key to her heart.
Seeing his wife so happy, Xaden looked up at Shawn with eyes filled with nothing but pure gratitude,Shawn had been a brother and more,a pillar in which he had leaned on in his lonely days. Shawn had been his best man on his wedding day and he remembered how the latter had stood by him even when he wanted to kill himself.
In his disheveled days,so many people wanted to take advantage of him and snatch his business but Shawn stood strong by him,in a way even his parents couldn't, Xaden couldn't imagine what would have become of him by now if he didn't have Shawn.
Seeing that Shawn had gotten a gift for Mira,it was then Daniella also figured she should have gotten something for her as well but nevertheless she should say hi.
At this point, Daniella's heart was pounding fast as she prepared to face her, according to Xaden,she had lost her memory due to her fall and couldn't remember anything or anyone as at yet but even as at that, Daniella couldn't help but feel tensed,she remembered she hadn't treated Mirabel nice in the past,she was always on her throat behind Xaden's back and now she had to go face her.
Anyways,she was already here and there was no going back,she braced herself and put on a warm smile before walking towards them calling out to Mira to first of all gain her attention before she reached there.
"Hey Mira" she called out softly causing Mira who was still very much all over her hubby to turn around and face her.
Mira's smile was still very wide as she turned towards Daniella, staring at the latter still smiling trying to see if she knew this one but as the seconds ticked by and Daniella's face started to sink in her child like eyes,the happy smile on her face slowly began to fade and what replaced the smile was a confused look.
Xaden and Shawn were quite surprised on Mira's sudden mood change as they began to observer her, even Daniella was quite tensed with the way Mira was behaving right now.
As Mira continued staring at Daniella's face,the confused look on her face suddenly replaced to that of shock and her eyes widened.
With her sudden actions, Xaden was forced to remove his hands from her waist and try to cup her face to look at her but she wouldn't let him..
At this point, Mira's breath had quickened as a primal fear surged through her veins tightening her muscles and quickening her pulse,she felt a sharp pain in her head as a blurry image flashed in her head causing her eyes which was once filled with a childlike innocence to narrow with the weight of a blurry memory too terrible to bear.
Daniella didn't like where this was going.!!!
