"Whoa!"
Neo and Lily shot Joan a puzzled glare.
"Joan, you've been here before." Lily voiced out emphatically.
"Have I?" she whispered with widened eyes and a gaping mouth as they walked into the Blackwood mansion.
"It looks so different," she went on, oblivious to the fact that her friends were giving her the 'crazy' stare. "Bigger and even, fancier."
Lily chuckled to herself. "Stop being dramatic Jo," she noticed Neo nodded in agreement which made her laugh again.
"It just looks that way because natural sunlight is coming in and strange people are not crawling around the place."
Joan turned to make a snarky comment when Vivian walked into the living area.
"Welcome, Lily's friends."
All three pairs of eyes turned in the old lady's direction. She had a sweet smile, spreading warmness into the atmosphere.
"Hello ma'am."
