'Ugh! Where am I?' a man groaned as he questioned. He tried to open his eyes, but they were tightly shut and weren't budging in the slightest.
"My sweet baby, Mother loves you the most in this world!" A woman's voice resounded in the man's ears, startling him. Her voice was smooth like a gentle river, yet heavy with the love she had for him.
'W-Who is that!? What is mother!?' The panic began to grip his heart as the man asked while he desperately tried to open his eyes.
'Aaaaah!'
He screamed at the top of his lungs, trying to open them.
Suddenly, a bright flash of light filled his vision, almost blinding the man.
He closed his eyes; the outside was too bright for him. 'But, what was that?' the man mumbled, while the moment he was closing his eyes, his eyes caught a glimpse of something – of someone.
She had two beautifully shining amethyst eyes that were etched with deep affection. Her jet-black hair, darker than the night itself, glistened as it draped down to her waist.
A smile tugged at her small yet beautiful lips, brightening her otherworldly beautiful face.
'What was that?' the man questioned; he didn't know why, but he felt a pull toward that woman.
'Wait, what is a woman?' the man questioned, but all he was answered with was more silence.
'I want to see that 'woman' again. It feels nice,' the man mumbled and slowly opened his eyes.
He didn't open them abruptly like before and let his eyes adjust to the brightness.
'Who is that woman?' the man questioned again as he took a closer look at the woman.
'Why is she so big?' The man was full of questions and looked at the woman curiously, but with a hint of caution added to it.
He understood that it was unlikely that he was going to get answers anytime soon and kept his questions to himself.
He watched as the giant woman turned toward him, her jewel-like amethyst eyes glimmering in soft light as little tears formed at their edges due to the sheer happiness she was experiencing.
"My sweet William," she said with love and care as she leaned in, 'Wait! Why is she coming closer? Is she going to eat me!?' The man screamed inwardly as he panicked.
But his panic and fear halted when he felt her lips on his forehead. His heart stopped beating wildly as the man relaxed at her gentle gesture.
'It feels like a soft feather grazing my skin,' the man mumbled, but then, 'what is a feather and how do I know what it feels like?'
The man had many questions in his mind, but they all melted like snow under sunlight when he felt the woman gently caressing his cheeks.
'Woah! It feels so good!' The man exclaimed, 'the woman said William before ... but what is William?'
The man, like always, didn't get any answers, but he didn't mind it; after all, he was enjoying the woman's gentle caress.
A few minutes had passed, and the woman still continued to caress her son. She didn't get tired; at least that's what the man thought, as her smile didn't fade in the slightest. But,
'Wait, why do my eyes feel heavy?' the man questioned as he felt his eyes closing little by little.
The man tried to make the eyes stay open, but the more he tried, the more they wanted to shut close.
'W-What if that woman disappears if I close my eyes!?' The man panicked, already gotten attached to that woman.
'N-No, I don't want to close my eyes! And I don't want that woman to disappear!' The man yelled inwardly; fear and dread began to claw their way to him.
But, as if listening to his desperate plea, the woman mumbled, "Sleep well, my little William; Mama's not going anywhere."
Her gentle voice relaxed the panic-stricken man, quelling his fears. 'R-Really!? Will you not go anywhere? I-I will believe you!' the man said as he stopped resisting, yet still in his heart he feared, feared that she might disappear.
......….
The man then opened his eyes again while praying for the woman to be there, 'Please, be there!' His heart quickened while he felt his skin tense up.
His heart only calmed down when his gaze landed on the woman who was still smiling at him.
"Fufufu, that was the shortest nap a baby has ever taken." The woman teased with a smile on her face. She leaned in closer to him.
However, this time the man didn't panic as he understood that this woman meant no harm. He closed his eyes, expecting a kiss on his forehead like before, but he was surprised when he felt his nose tickling.
He opened his eyes only to see the giant woman nudging her nose against his while mumbling, "Does my sweet William love his mama so much that he does not want to sleep?"
The woman asked while chuckling; her laugh resembled that of a child, innocent and pure, devoid of any negative emotions.
'What is this woman doing?' the man asked himself as he looked at her strangely. He didn't get its purpose, but he sure had to say, 'It feels weirdly comfortable.' He mumbled as he felt her smooth skin almost gliding against his. A pleasant smell filled his nose, almost soothing him back to sleep.
The woman pulled away from his face, disappointing the man a little. Then his gaze roamed toward the things around the woman.
The woman was sitting on what seemed to be a bed. It was rather an expensive one, with expensive sheets covering it and a fluffy pillow resting beside her.
The bed had thick curtains tied to the corners of the bed, and beside the bed was a stand with a water jug that had expensive gems and rubies intricately etched into it.
The man's eyes then turned toward the other side, where there was a wall. It had a painting of that woman with two other women standing beside her with smiles on their faces. Beside that painting was a window that opened to the amazing scene of a city; houses and buildings filled the city, while the city itself stretched to the end of the horizon.
But the odd thing about the city was that there was no noise coming from it; it was eerily quiet. The man didn't pay attention to the odd thing as it never crossed his mind that big cities made a lot of noise.
Then the man looked at something that was beside the window: a mirror. It was a long rectangular mirror that had intricate designs on its edges.
But what interested the man was the image that was reflected in the mirror. It was the image of people.
'What are people?'
People, men and women. Some of them wore expensive clothes that screamed luxury, while most wore a strange uniform on their bodies.
The strange thing about them, however, was the same expression on all their faces. 'Why do they look like they are holding their poo?' The man mumbled to himself, but then again, how does he know what that expression looks like.
The woman watched in amusement as she noticed her son looking around the room. She didn't take her eyes off him from the moment he was born. But she would have had a heart attack in shock if she had seen what was happening to the rest of the world.
She followed her son's gaze: the bed, the pillows, the curtains. Her smile widened when her gaze landed on the painting; after all, the women along with her in the painting were her sisters.
Her gaze then traveled toward the window and landed on the city streets, 'Why are the streets abandoned? Did husband order a curfew?' she mumbled to herself.
She thought about it for a moment, but then she quickly shook her head. She didn't have time to think about the useless stuff; her son was born today. Today it was all going to be about her and her son, nothing else!
Then her gaze traveled toward the mirror. And that's when her smiling amethyst eyes widened in horror as she saw the same image that her son did.
Her sister, her maids, and even her husband were prostrating to her and her son.
She quickly turned over to them and almost jumped out of bed while holding her son. Her heartbeat rose almost instantly while her eyes darted between her husband and her sisters.
"What happened? Why are you kneeling?" the woman yelled, startling the baby in her arms. Her chest heaved up and down while her breathing became labored with panic.
'Why is she screaming like that? Did something happen? Why is she looking at the people in worry? Are they close to her? Will they take her away from me?' The man too began to panic as his mind thought about every worst-case scenario that could happen.
But then, suddenly, out of nowhere, a voice resounded in his mind while his vision was filled with a black screen with golden words on it.
[Do not worry, no one can ever separate that woman from you. As for the people, they are prostrating before you! Not just them, the entire creation is kneeling and prostrating toward you!]
'Who are you!?'
