Ditun was so shocked, he stiffened, feeling her soft hand travel over him. Her small frame pressing against him. His eyes turned a crimson red, and his lips pressed together as he tried to suppress his demon from taking over. She didn't see this, as her face was pressed to his chest.
"Damn wife, stay far away from me, will you," he tried to warn, but his voice was betraying him. Oh, how he had thought he could fully control his demon; now the monster in him was overtaking him so badly. She should leave, he should make her leave. It was quite dangerous for her.
Dalia frowned; his body was burning hot. She tried to look at him, but he pressed her head back to his chest. "Are you alright?" she whispered.
Ditun nodded, almost laughing at himself because she couldn't see him and, worse, he couldn't voice anything because he was trying to control himself.
