After 4 Months
Main Character's POV
Now I am 2 years old, and my parents bought me a toy broom. It's still hard to believe they have toy brooms that can hover above the ground. It's so much fun! A few months back, my father met his school headmaster and an old classmate at a bar when he was out with his colleagues. He told us that it was odd for the headmaster to conduct an interview for a subject in a bar. When I asked about the subject, he told me it was divination.
The only thought that came to my mind was: can drunk people make more accurate predictions, or is this a special case? I asked my father about the old classmate, and he told me that she came from a famous house known for divination, but it has declined, and most of her predictions never come true.
This is interesting. If people can predict the future and make prophecies, this skill is worth learning. Although the future is ever-changing and looking into it may have consequences, it's still worth it.
The atmosphere outside is strangely tense and shifting to a dangerous situation. The fights are getting more frequent, apparently involving the terrorist group of You-Know-Who. Seriously, that's what people call him? But then again, this is a magical world, so maybe he cursed his name. But why would he do that? Don't tell me his real name is something like Bob. "Dark Lord Bob" would be hilarious.
Anyway, this group is targeting the Aurors and the Order of the Phoenix more and more. Most of the fights are near hospitals or the Ministry. Why? Hospitals and the Ministry? What are they even doing?
My parents are discussing how neutral pure-bloods and new bloods are also wary now as we are getting targeted. At that point, I asked my parents about the so-called pure-blood and new-blood classifications. They explained that pure-bloods are families with at least 7 generations of wizards, and new bloods have 3-5 generations. They told me there are more differences and classes, but it basically goes like this. When I asked about our situation, they told me I am a newborn with 2 wizard parents and am a 2nd generation wizard. My parents are Muggle-born, the 1st generation wizards. They both were in Hufflepuff.
After hearing this, I had more doubts about my safety because this psychopath group is targeting families like ours.
General POV
Wife: Why did you tell him this? You know he is very smart for his age; it will make him panic.
Husband: I didn't want him to panic, but I told him because he is very smart.
Wife: What does that have to do with anything?
Husband: Future preparation.
Wife: Aren't you the one who always says he is a kid and should be allowed to be a kid?
Husband: That was before. Now I want him to be prepared.
Wife: Prepared for what?
Husband: Survival. You know the danger outside. I want to at least ensure that he knows how to escape if danger comes. At least the short time we can get him to escape if danger arrives at our doorstep.
Wife: I don't want to leave Ash. He is so small. Why should he endure so much? I want to spoil him further, see him become a brilliant wizard. I don't want to leave him or you.
Gently, the man hugs her from behind. She melts into his arms and starts crying, and he gently comforts her.
Husband: I also want that to happen, but we can't be weak. Not for us, but for Ash.
Main Character's POV
After this conversation, our house environment changed a lot. It's like I know what they are doing and what preparations are being made. But it's hard to accept that this might happen. But reality is like this: my parents and I are primary targets, and my parents are trying to boost my confidence by saying I will be great and that pure-bloods are not so powerful. To be honest, that was unnecessary. Just being reborn gives me enough advantage to be at the top, not to mention my perks which give me large advantages, including a legendary talent. If I fail to become a legendary wizard after all this, then there is a problem with me; no one else can be at fault.
I also increased my attention to unlocking chakra and learning more about the Force because this is the best chance and the only thing that can give me security right now as the wizard class will be locked for some more years.
Somewhere in the Wizarding World
The Dark Lord and his followers are creating chaos for both Muggles and wizards. They are searching for the Chosen One and have started targeting neutral families, believing the Chosen One to be a pure-blood or half-blood.
Lily and James Potter hold a marriage ceremony with a few friends and family members.
A new divination teacher was hired at Hogwarts.
Dumbledore is sitting in his office, thinking deeply about something, having left all the tasks to the vice headmaster as always.
