Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 – History of Witches and Wizards

Main Character's POV

After the Diggory family left our house, I began to think that being and acting like a child is more difficult than I imagined. Dealing with children my age gives me chills just thinking about it.

Now on to the main task: how to get achievement points and develop my abilities. I got the basic idea about the Force as it is spiritual in nature. I thought of telekinesis and mind reading as standard spiritual powers. For mind reading, I thought of increasing my connection so I can create a link between me and my target, and for telekinesis, I thought of using vector manipulation as a valve to control my flow of power. It has nothing to do with making my training useless and putting it anywhere to make it fit. I also tried imitating another great psychic I know, and the first step is to make coffee jelly as this is his favorite dessert. This turned out better than usual; my family seems to be addicted to it. "Saiki" (from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.) would be proud of me. For chakra, honestly, all the information I had turned out useless, so I focused on using ninjas as references, and the only ninjas I can remember are "Ninja Hattori" and "Ninjaboy Rantaro," which are just kids' shows, and I don't have much hope anyway.

After 4 months

I tried many methods, and to be honest, I am surprised that Ninja Hattori turned out to be a great reference. Like seriously, walking on walls and maybe on water can be done by chakra.

[Learned basic chakra control – 2 points to ninja class]

[Learned intermediate chakra control – 4 points to ninja class]

I think I just have to practice more to walk on water, which is a bit tricky since water is a fluid, not solid, and how to convert chakra to make it behave like surface tension is still under work. I think my skills will help me in this.

[Chakra Control – 5x learning for chakra control]

Progress with the Force is slower than with chakra, but there is some progress due to innate skill and perk.

[Learned introductory Psychometry – 2 points to Jedi class]

Psychometry is way more difficult than chakra, and with no clear reference, it is time-consuming to figure out. I think I should focus on mastering Psychometry first as it is difficult but very useful. I will figure out the rest afterward.

After 2 months

Now I am 2 and ½ years old, and I have become enchanted by the wizarding world. It is way different than my previous world, not just in abilities but also in terms of culture and norms. Here, inequality between men and women doesn't exist. Both witches and wizards have participated in wars and have equal magic, so this point has never come up. Rather, witches are more magically tuned than wizards. I read a book that was at my house, and yes, I learned to read. My parents were shocked, but I told them I can remember anything just by seeing it once, and they just got over with it, assuming it as my gift. It is a rare ability but not unheard of, and it can be obtained from magic. So, as I was saying, I read the book, and it explained that witches are generally better in transfiguration than most wizards. When I read this, it was not surprising. It is known that women are superior in multitasking, but the next point made me think more. They are more sensitive to magic, which is a big boost on average. It is also stated that because they are also more emotionally sensitive, the magic that requires emotions is easier for them. For this reason, a female dark lord is generally more dangerous than a male counterpart if they are corrupted by negative emotions.

Because of these gifts, the Templar, which is the church, thinks witches are more dangerous, so they actively hunt them throughout the magical community. Magic is often depicted with feminine traits like "born from magic," "loved by magic," etc. But as nature tends to balance things, it also balances it here. There are always more wizards than witches, so the average number of talented people also remains the same, sometimes wizards are shown to have more inventors

From a General POV

As Ash was reading and thinking about magic, he failed to notice his emotions and his surroundings. Suddenly, a loud sound came from the reading place, and a wind of magic swept from the baby who was reading a book. It is certain Ash has awakened his magic at a very young age.

Mother: Ash, what happened? How did this happen?

Ash: I don't know, Mom. It suddenly happened.

Mother: Come here, sweetie. Let me check. Are you hurt?

Ash: No, Mom. I am fine.

Mother: Let Mom check. Then we will decide. Let your dad come home. Don't do anything. Just sit there, sweetie.

Ash: Okay, Mom.

Main Character's POV

Forget about Mom. I am also confused about how this happened.

[Achievement: Wizard Section Unlocked]

[Achievement Points for Wizard Section: 2 points – for unlocking magic]

Do my perks resonate to awaken my magic early? Whatever the reasons are, at least I will have more time to train in magic. But before that, status...
