Hundreds of roots were charging towards him at an incredible speed. If he didn't do anything then he would certainly get impaled by them in a few seconds!!
Despite wanting to take a closer look at the changes brought by the aura, Myles got rid of all their thoughts and focused completely on the incoming roots.
He didn't have a choice if he didn't concentrate then the chances of death were high. Hence, failing the quest.
"I can't allow this to happen!" Mylyes thought to himself.
If he really failed the quest then he wouldn't get the unique class. If he didn't get the unique class then he wouldn't be able to earn money as effectively as he thought from the game.
If he couldn't earn money, then how would he pay his debt? If couldn't pay his debt won't he lose his flat? Hence rendering him homeless.
He couldn't allow this to happen no matter what!! Hence, he concentrated all his attention to the roots charging towards him.
Just a few seconds later, the roots from his right and left side were within his reach. Using his insane speed and reaction speed, he was able to slice almost all roots intending to kill him.
As he was slicing the roots at his left and right, he felt a sense of doom behind him. He knew the reason behind it. So without even bothering to look back, he jumped up high in the sky while making a backflip.
He allowed himself to roll in the sky so he could straighten up. As he got higher and higher in the sky, he scanned the ground as far the naked eye could see.
He saw dozens of roots charging towards where he was standing earlier. If he didn't move then he would certainly die, this was the reason behind him feeling a sense of doom approaching from behind him.
Looking beyond, he spotted swarms of roots as far as the eye could see causing him to let out a curse.
"Damn it! I have a long way to go before I reach safety" Myles thought to himself.
He didn't stay hung up on his issues for long though. He needs to take care of immediate issues which were the root around below him.
When he finally straightened up and started to slowly descend to the ground. He prepared to slice all the roots around.
"Now!!!" Myles roared when he got close enough.
He swung his sword 180 degrees with all his might. His sword passed through the roots around him like a knife passing through butter causing the root to be cutted in half.
It wasn't all though, the slash produced strong gales which were very sharp. The gales traveled a few km from the source in an instant, slicing any object thin and weak in the process.
It dealt some moderate damage to the roots but it wasn't anything serious.
"This is far from over" Myles exclaimed as he landed on the ground.
Dozens of more roots were charging towards him at an incredible speed. He didn't panic. He merely charged straight into them and sliced any incoming roots in half.
He kept charging towards the woman moving as far as he could afford while slicing any roots that charged him.
The combination of his speed and increased reaction speed was quite dangerous.
His increased institute towards danger allowed him to detect ambushes before it was too late.
He was taking full advantage of the increased reaction speed and increased institute towards danger!!
"To be honest it's not because of these advantages that I could advance safely to the woman.
It's because I have reunited with my partner" Myles mumbled
After his aura changed to a golden color, he felt like he had reunited with his long-lasting partner. He felt like he found the missing pieces of a puzzle causing him to be completed.
This caused him to be completed and feel satisfied causing his performance to increase by a notch. The other advantages were just secondary.
To be honest, he felt more like his sword was warning him of incoming dangers. He felt his sword guiding him whenever he was in danger causing his reaction speed to increase!
It sounded crazy but this was what he was currently feeling!
"Understanding the reasons behind these feelings might cause me to understand the essence of swordsmanship." Myles thought to himself.
He sincerely believed understanding might help him attain sword aura. He kept thinking about reason while he sliced one root after another.
None or the roots didn't manage to deal any serious damage to him. Probably because of his increased reaction speed and increased institute to danger.
At most, they gazed past his skin causing him to suffer from too minor to moderate injuries which he easily tolerated.
The roots were falling at an alarming root! If he didn't manage to get run from the swarm of roots. Then they might cease to exist in the first place!
As he was slicing one another after another, the aura of the woman began to rapidly grow stronger with each passing second. Causing Myles and the other members of the union to direct their gaze upon them.
The woman was glowing brighter than ever, she was engulfed in a thick green aura which made her look fearsome and heavenly. It was as if they were looking at a god itself.
She had clasped two of her fists and was chanting some kind of spell. The magic circle which had remained idle for so long was beginning to glow brightly.
"She is up to no good" Myles thought to himself.
It was clear that whatever she was up to wouldn't be good for the members of the union.
She abruptly opened her eyes, the moment she did so. The aura around grew 10 times stronger and all the magic circles casted by her began to glow brighter than ever.
She pointed her finger towards the members of the union. It was as if she was declaring punishment upon them.
Seeing this Myles and all the other members of the union mentally prepared for the worst.
"Here it comes" Myles's thought to himself as he braced himself for a powerful impact.
However he suddenly saw a rail of blue and red lines moving towards the woman at an incredible speed. When he saw it, it shocked him beyond words!!
Two swordsmen were moving towards the woman at an incredible speed!!! One of them happened to be the commander of the red hawks!! Even the woman looked very shocked, causing her to divert her attention towards them.
"You can do this commander!!"
"Yes, show that woman swordsmanship is the most supreme!!"
The soldiers at the ground all earnestly prayed for their success. As for Myles's, he was worried about another particular outcome.
"If they kill the woman will I fail the trial?" Myles thought to himself
