"Good morning, Lorence!" The girls greeted me.
"Good morning, guys!" I greeted them.
"Lorence, look!" Erika hurried over, holding a newspaper.
"What's that?" I asked.
"You're famous now!" she exclaimed, showing me the article. The headline read, "The billionaire business tycoon, Mr. Coleman, spotted with a mystery woman. Who's this lucky girl?" Below was a photo of Raze and me from yesterday after the classical play. How did the media catch wind of this yesterday?
I hadn't noticed. I didn't know whether to be glad or scared... It was a little unnerving.
"Does he know about this already?"
"I don't know!"
"Ah, let's just set this aside. Maybe he'll do something about it," I said, grabbing my vacuum.
Raze and I crossed paths in the living room.
"Good morning, chump!" he said, stepping closer and kissing my forehead.
"Good morning," I greeted back.
"I've got to go, love! Don't forget to reply to my messages and respond to my calls later."
"Sure, bye! Take care!" he nodded and began to walk away.
"Hey, wait! I have a quick question for you!" I called out, making him turn back.
"What's that, beautiful?" he asked, a playful grin on his face. Aisshhh! He beat me to it. Whatever!
"Why are you so handsome?" I laughed and stuck my tongue out.
"Crazy!" he laughed and quickly grabbed me, planting a quick peck on my lips. Suddenly...
"Yieee!" others saw it, and it elicited some playful teasing from them.
"Bye, chump!" he said, smiling, before leaving.
After finishing my tasks, around ten, I headed to the mini zoo to feed the animals. Suddenly, my phone rang. It was Raze.
"Hey! Why did you call?" I answered.
"Love, I forgot my laptop. Can you bring it to me at Texno?" he said straight to the point.
"Yeah, sure! It's my pleasure!" I responded.
"Great. See you in a bit! Take care, and ask Sebastian to drive you. Okay?" he instructed.
"Noted, sir! I'll prepare now. Bye!" I said and hung up.
I immediately headed back and changed. Grabbing his laptop, I asked Sebastian to drive me to Texno.
After a short drive, we arrived at Texno. Just as I stepped out of the car, I received another call from Raze.
"You're here already?" he asked, sounding surprised. Perhaps his instincts told him to call me? Well, it was perfect timing.
"Yeah! Where are you?" I inquired.
"We're in room 212, 10th floor!" he replied, amidst some background noise.
"Okay, coming!" I said with a smile, then hung up.
I rushed into the elevator with others, who were all staring at me.
"She's the woman with Sir Pryce in the newspaper," I overheard one of them say.
"She's even prettier up close," another whispered.
I just ignored their whispers and focused on reaching the 10th floor. *Ding!*
After navigating through the 10th floor, I finally found the room. I twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open, ready to greet Raze. But as soon as I stepped inside, my greeting froze on my lips.
A meeting was in progress. The room was filled with people, all of them turning to look at me as if I had just walked in on something highly confidential. Their gazes bore into me, and I felt like I was under a spotlight.
"Good mor-- eh?" I stammered, my voice trailing off as I realized my mistake. What was I thinking barging in like this?
Everyone inside was staring at me, their expressions a mix of confusion and irritation. I felt like I had just committed a crime by interrupting their meeting.
"Aish! I interrupted their meeting. Lorence! What did you do?" I scolded myself internally, feeling the weight of embarrassment settle in.
I tried to salvage the situation with an awkward smile, but it only made me feel more self-conscious. Where was Raze? I scanned the room anxiously, my nerves escalating with each passing second.
"What did I do? Shit! But he said he's in this room," I muttered to myself, my heart pounding louder in my ears as the murmurs from the others in the room intensified.
Then, Raze's voice cut through the tension, and I turned to face him with a mixture of relief and trepidation.
"Since you ruined the mood of the meeting, I want you to answer some questions for our reporter," he said, his tone serious but betraying a hint of playful amusement.
"Huh?" I blinked in surprise, feeling like I had just been caught in a whirlwind.
"But I'm just here to--"
"No buts! Get inside already!" Raze interrupted, his command leaving no room for argument.
"Good morning, sir, everyone," I said nervously, offering a slight bow as I entered the room.
"A-any questions, everyone?" I stammered, feeling the weight of everyone's eyes on me.
"First, you should replace our reporter for today. Stand beside him," someone instructed, and I complied, making my way to the front of the room while clutching the laptop holder tightly, attempting to steady my nerves.
What was Raze up to? My heart raced with anticipation, but I forced myself to muster a smile, hoping to appear calm and composed despite my inner turmoil.
"Please introduce yourself," another voice commanded, and I glanced at Raze, feeling a sudden rush of warmth spread across my lips as I smiled.
"Okay, good morning again, everyone. I'm Lorence Catherine Celo, 23 years old, from Lahzon," I said, feeling more at ease now that I had introduced myself.
"Can you share some information about your family?" the questioning continued.
"Ah, sure! My family owns a ranch and a vineyard that supplies some liquor companies around Lahzon. That's about it," I replied, trying to maintain a composed demeanor.
"Really? Why are you here then?" someone asked, their surprise evident.
"Ah, seeing the same faces every day gets annoying!" I quipped, glancing over at Raze, which elicited a few chuckles from the room.
"Fate brings me here, and I've found something important that I don't want to lose," I replied, maintaining a smile and keeping my gaze on Raze.
"Okay, let's proceed to the questions before we slip into something!" Raze interjected with authority, slightly killing the moment.
I nodded, ready for any questions they had for me.
"Anyone can ask her now!" Raze declared, taking a seat.
"What do you think a game developer's work involves?" a man who looked to be in his 50s asked me. That was a curveball!
"Game developers work in teams to create video games for computers, mobile devices, and consoles. They design visuals and write code to ensure seamless functionality. This requires strong skills in software engineering and collaboration. While many work full-time in studios or firms, some opt for remote work or independent publishing." I responded, maintaining clarity and composure despite a hint of nervousness. Fortunately, my cognitive faculties remained sharp.
Someone raises a hand, and Raze gestures for them to speak.
"Since you mentioned writing code, what do you believe is the purpose behind it?" they inquire.
"Using programming languages suitable for the game's target platform, game developers write the code that implements the game's logic and allows the player to interact with the game world and its characters. This often involves having responsibility for specific parts of the code or game features and working with other developers to make the final product."I answered, suddenly questioning why I'm being bombarded with questions.
I realize now that my unexpected appearance has disrupted their meeting. Sigh.
"What are the essential skills for a videogame developer?" I respond, feeling like I've been thrust into a Miss Universe pageant.
"Essentially, a video game developer must possess creativity, a passion for video games, extensive knowledge of gaming trends, a strong analytical mindset, the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, and proficiency in programming languages such as C# and C++." I smile as I respond.
After that, there are a few more questions about the duties and responsibilities of game developers, their required skills and qualifications, how to manage game projects, and some basic inquiries. However, I'm caught off guard by the announcement that follows after I've answered all the questions.
"You're hired!"
"H-huh? I-I'm just here to deliver—"
"You're not interested?"
"H-huh? N-no, I am!"
"So, you accept?"
"Y-yes!" I respond, still trying to process everything in my mind.
"Great! You're hired!" Raze confirms, sealing the deal.
I heard wild applause and saw smiles all around me.
Raze stood up, approached me, and took the laptop bag I was holding.
"Congrats!" he said, extending his hand for a handshake. Was he pretending not to know me?
My mouth hung open in disbelief. I was only here to follow orders. Damn it! Raze was truly unpredictable.
"T-thanks!" I managed to say.
"Welcome to the family, Lorence!" Everyone chimed in.
"F-family?" I asked, smiling awkwardly, struggling to comprehend.
"Texno family, Congrats!"
"Thanks, Raze. Or should I call you Mr. CEO or founder? Which sounds better?" I looked at him, seeing his smile.
"Call me 'love.' I love it," he whispered with a smirk.
"Everyone, the meeting adjourned!" Raze announced, and they began to excuse themselves, still chatting about various topics.
"I thought I was just coming to give you your laptop," I said.
"Expect the unexpected," he replied, his smile as charming as ever.
"I never knew your family owned a vineyard," he remarked.
"You never asked," I teased.
"Well, anyway, maybe your family can exclusively supply grapes for my liquor company!"
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah, we can discuss it further. Okay?" I nodded. He took my hand before we left.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"To my office. I need to drop off this laptop before we go to lunch." I felt excitement bubbling up.
"Sir! You have a call from Venice. She said you have an urgent meeting with Mr. De Vera,"
"For what? I thought I'll entertain him through a call?" Raze responded.
"Maybe it's about his proposal, sir."
"Oh? Just tell Venice to cancel the meeting. Anyway, bro, can you bring this with you?"
"Yeah, sure! Hi, Cath!" Finally, he noticed me.
"Hi, Tyron!"
"Tyron, after that, just head to the dining area and eat with us!" Tyron nodded and gestured for us to go first.
"How long has Tyron been serving you?"
"Since I founded this!"
"Really? He must be an incredibly loyal secretary," I remarked.
"He's the absolute best," Raze replied proudly.
"I see, Raze? Did I ever mention how much I love your smile?" I asked.
"No, but you must love it because you gave it to me," he responded in a playful tone.
He knew just how to bring a smile to my face, every single time.
"And how come you're so cheesy now?" I teased.
"Because you love me," he said with a grin.
"I'm not a rat, sweetheart," I quipped, impersonating Sabrina.
"Crazy! I'll give you a tour later," he changed the topic.
"Japan?" I joked.
"Sure! I'll hook you up with a club," he fired back, laughing.
I just gave him a playful glare, thinking of a witty comeback.
"Just kidding. How about an informal lunch set?" he asked.
"Alibi? I'm up for some Ala Raze!" I replied.
"Lunch in bed?" he suggested.
"With a cake? I'll blow out your candle!" I laughed, and he playfully messed up my hair.
"How can you blow out the candle if it's stuck in your cake?" he quipped, catching me off guard, and we both burst into laughter.
We end up talking about the silliest things! Unbelievable.
"Flavor of the cake?" I teased.
"Like yours!" he replied.
"Crazy!" I snorted.
"That's my line!" he chuckled.
"You're a crazy candle!"
"You're my chump cake!" he said playfully, then surprised me by kissing my hand.
I blushed, feeling a bit self-conscious as I noticed some people looking at us.
"I love you," he whispered.
"Me or the cake?" I teased back.
"You, because without you, I can't have the most special serving of it!" he said, reaching my heart with his goofy words.
"Shut up, Mr. CEO, someone might hear you and try to steal me for a cake!" I teased.
"I'm willing to be a criminal," he joked back.
"For the cake?" I teased further.
"To be sentenced and imprisoned in your heart forever," he said seriously.
"My heart has a complex," I reasoned.
"I have money, let's go to the hospital!" he suggested.
"No, we're going straight to the cemetery," I said sadly.
"Huh? That's so sudden!" he replied, surprised.
"Yeah! Suddenly, I'm dying in love with you!" I joked.
"Sure?" I responded, pretending disbelief.
"I'm not!" he insisted.
"Chump!" I teased.
"Ungentleman!" he fired back.
"I love you!" he said suddenly, catching me off guard.
"I hate you!" I countered playfully.
"I hate you too!" he replied with a laugh.
"I hate you more!" I teased, joining in the banter.
"I hate you moreny!" Raze replied with an odd term.
"Moreny?" I questioned, amused.
"More plus many equals moreny!" he explained, chuckling. It was an odd joke, but it made me laugh too.
"Sir, lunch?" a staff member interrupted.
"Yeah! Where's everyone?" Raze inquired.
"Still working, sir!" the staff member responded.
"Okay! Please tell them to eat now, thanks!" Raze instructed, his tone shifting to seriousness.
"Yes, sir!" the staff member acknowledged before leaving, and soon after, an announcement was made.
"Ladies and gentlemen, single and taken, the food is ready. Let's all gather now; Sir is already here at the Litdinner!" came the announcement from the speaker.
The man handed Raze a tablet, a high-tech menu book of sorts. "Sir, this is our menu for today," he said.
Raze swiftly made his selection. "Give us some soup and chicken dishes," he ordered.
We enjoyed our meal, and afterward, Raze gave me a tour of the building, introducing me to his employees as their new teammate. I was amazed to have my own team and table.
He was exceedingly generous, spoiling me with everything. It all felt like a whirlwind, but I couldn't deny that it was really happening.
"Sir, you're leaving already?" one of the girls asked him, her name escaping my memory.
"Yes, we're heading somewhere," he replied formally.
"I see, goodbye sir, Catherine!"
"Goodbye!" Raze and I said in unison.
"Who's she again?" I asked him as we headed to the elevator.
"She's Dianne! Why?"
"She's beautiful!" I said, smiling.
"You're 100 times more beautiful!" he quipped.
"You're exaggerating!" I said, feeling my cheeks flush.
"You recognize them all?" I inquire.
"Yeah," he casually replies.
"Fudge, there's a lot of them. Sadly, I have a bad memory!" I laugh.
"There's a possibility that you'll forget me, then."
"Yeah, 199%, but my heart couldn't!" I replied.
"That's enough for me to build more memories with you then!" he says, taking my hand as we step into the elevator. It's crowded, and we end up at the back since there's no room in the front. His employees continue to greet him.
"You said we're going somewhere?" I ask, looking up at him. He's tall.
"Yeah, at my favorite shop," he responds.
"Don't tell me it's your shop?"
"Well, sort of," he replies with a smile. As expected, he has a lot of properties, being a billionaire.
He's playing with my hair now, his left elbow leaning on my left shoulder. Hayss! Why is he so tall? I feel like a cane next to him. But it feels good being this close to him; my heart feels fully alive.
Is he sniffing my hair?
The elevator opens, and he rushes inside, pulling me along as if there's something urgent to attend to.
With him, everything feels different. Things move quickly, with a sweet escape from the harsh realities of life, and everything seems perfectly organized.
"Sir, here's your key!" the guard approaches him and hands over the key.
"Thanks, Philip!" he replies with a smile.
"Sir, I hope luck keeps coming your way because you're even more handsome when you're smiling!" Philip says with a touch of humor.
"Tell me, are you gay?" Raze laughed mockingly, perhaps intentionally.
"Sir, you're really good at joking! Want to see my abs?" Philip replied, joking as well.
"Forget it man, we're going now. Thanks!" Raze said formally and opened the car door for me. I hopped into the passenger seat.
After a while, we arrived in front of a tall building. It was one of the most impressive structures I had ever seen. The building looked like a giant mirror, shining brilliantly but not blindingly. It was simply awe-inspiring.
The valet parked Raze's car, and he held my hand as we walked inside.
As usual, everyone recognized Raze. Who wouldn't? He was famous—his face was all over newspapers, magazines, TV, and the internet. I felt so small next to him.
"Where's JC?" he asked. I had assumed JC was a guy, but she turned out to be a stunning woman. We were at a boutique now, and it seemed he was here to buy a new tuxedo.
"Hi Ice, still cold as ever?" the woman, JC, greeted him with a hug. Damn, excuse me? A girlfriend here!
"Yeah! With a hot girlfriend!"
"What? So the news was right and you're not just dating? You have a girlfriend, huh!" she sounded incredulous.
"Yeah! You see, this is Lorence. Love, this is JC, my crazy cousin!" Cousin? What a relief.
"Hi JC!" I greeted. She smiled warmly and hugged me, making me feel very welcome. There was a friendly presence about her.
"Alright, come on, Lorence, I have something for you!" JC pulled me inside the boutique. Inside, there were business suits, shoes, attaché cases, and other items a businessman might need.
Wow! I looked at Raze as she pulled me along. He just smiled as if to say, "Go on! She doesn't bite!" Lol!
While walking, JC started telling me about Raze. She mentioned how boring and sad his life could be, and how scary and cold his attitude was at times. Maybe he's suffering from a disorder. Just kidding! He might read my mind!
"This one looks good on you, Lorence!" she said, showing me a red dress.
"Why do I have to wear a dress? Is there a party?" I asked.
"For work, love!"
"Yeah, but—" I stammered, unable to finish. I didn't want to ruin the mood.
"Try this in the fitting room. I'm excited to see you in this one too!" JC said with enthusiasm, showing me a black dress. It was fitted above the knee, and a bit more daring than the red one.
I decided to follow JC rather than complain. After all, I couldn't refuse her kindness. I ended up wearing the dress, and as I stepped out, everything seemed to move in slow motion. Raze and I locked eyes, and I read his lips as he mouthed, "You're gorgeous!"
I couldn't believe him. He really spoiled me. He even bought me new pairs of heels and paid for everything. This man! I wanted to cry!
We left the boutique, though JC wanted to hang out with us. Maybe some other time.
Raze carried the paper bags for me while I felt like a princess. He made me feel like one.
I was falling more and more in love.
On the way home, I was telling him some funny stories I'd read or something I'd experienced in the province.
"Love, guess what? You're a real comedian because I only laugh because of you. Sadly, it's because of the way you laugh and not because of your jokes," he said, full of sarcasm, and laughed.
"You're so mean!" I complained, pouting.
"I am, but I love your laughter!" he said, teasingly.
A trick! He always laughed and praised me if I got mad, but when I was mad, he laughed as if it were his happiness.
"What's your favorite song?" he suddenly asked.
"Marry Your Daughter. Um, Star Align, and so much more, but Marry Your Daughter is the top among all!" I answered instantly, with a wide smile. Suddenly, he played a song at a low volume and began to sing along.
He was really good, damn!
His singing tickled my heart, and I couldn't quite grasp all the other feelings swirling inside me. But one thing I was sure of—I was very happy.
"I love it like I love you," I looked at him and said.
"Someday I'll perform that with my guitar in front of your parents," he said confidently, and his words made me pause for a moment.
Inside my head, his words echoed.
"I can't wait for that moment!" I uttered, smiling.
Dear Fate,
Can you please be good to me until the end? I want this man to be with me for the rest of our lives. I know I really love him. I do, so please don't change the course of our destiny.
Love,
Lorence
After a moment, we arrived at the mansion.
Sebastian parked Raze's car, and we entered the mansion as if no one else was around, the place consumed by silence.
"Are you tired?" he asked me.
"A bit," I replied, looking at him. Suddenly, he kissed my temple.
"Masha?" he called out, but there was no response, so he called her again.
"Hijo!" We heard her voice from upstairs. She sounded scared, panicked, and worried. Why? Raze let go of my hand and ran upstairs as if he felt something strange, so I followed him.
"What's wrong, Masha?" I heard him asking Mother Sharn.
"She's inside your room, throwing a tantrum!" she explained.
"Sabrina?"
"Yeah! She's waiting here and insists on getting inside your room or else she'll break anything here!" she explained again.
"Hi, Mother Sharn!" I greeted, offering a smile.
"What took you so long?" she asked, whispering.
"There are a lot of surprises today, Mother Sharn, ah—" I stopped when I heard a sound like a vase falling and breaking.
"Save the story for later!" Mother Sharn said before she left, and I hurriedly followed her too.
"What—oh!" I didn't know how to react.
The portrait, our portrait, was on the floor, and the frame was broken.
Sabrina was crying.
"Why, Raze? Why? She's supposed to be just your maid! S-she! Why?" Did she already know?
"SABRINA! I'm warning you! Please leave now before my guards throw you out!" he said, his voice filled with anger.
"How could you do this to me, Raze? Everything was set, right?" she cried.
"I thought we were all clear! I thought we had already talked about this! I thought you understood!" he replied, his tone now calm.
"I can't, I can't afford to see you with her! Raze, please! Marry me!" she pleaded, now on her knees.
I felt guilty! I imagined myself in her shoes.
Seeing her in this position hurt me. She shouldn't have to beg, right?
"Raze, I love you so much! I loved you before everything was planned! Please! I know you love me, please say you love me!"
"I'm sorry, I can't force myself to love you! I love her," he calmly replied again.
I turned my back, I couldn't bear to see them that way.
If he chooses her, it's fine. I can unlove him, right? I felt guilty, she's hurt, and I feel like it's my fault.
"Lorence!" Mother Sharn called me.
"Mother Sharn, what should I do?" I asked sadly.
Do I have to give him up? We haven't even fully started yet.
"Let them solve their own problem. Let her mend her broken heart. You'll be fine, and everything will be alright. Okay?" I just nodded and continued walking.
I took a warm half bath, feeling sleepy as I soaked myself in the bathtub. But my mind was still filled with thoughts of us. It felt like there were so many obstacles against our relationship. I was just a maid, her maid, and he was on a level that only lucky people could reach easily.
Was I still insecure about that? I felt the gap between us now too. I still felt like Sabrina was the right person for him. But does social status really matter? Does it matter if I'm just like this?
Argh! I was fixing my bed when I heard a knock.
"That's open!" I responded.
"Love!"
"Oh, Raze, hey! What?"
"I'll go. I'll send Sabrina home. She won't go back if I'm not the one who'll drive for her," he explained.
"Yeah, keep safe!" I said, continuing to fix my bed sheets.
"Hey!"
"Hmm?" I responded.
"Are you okay?" he asked, holding both my shoulders.
"I said yeah! Go now, Raze, she's waiting!" I responded, facing him and smiling.
"Thanks, love. I love you!" he hugged me.
"I'll be back!" I just nodded before he left.
I sighed. He cared for her. If I hadn't come into the picture, maybe he would have fallen for her already. Is it my fault? Shit!
At dinner time, everyone was quiet, their eyes darting towards me as if they were hiding something.
"Guys, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Lorence—"
"Stop it, Erika!" Mother Sharn interrupted her.
Erika's attempt to speak caught my attention.
"Mother Sharn, why?" I asked, feeling increasingly frustrated.
"I think we don't have the right to tell you that," she answered sadly.
"There's no clue?" I tried to convince her. She sighed and looked at everyone as if they were communicating through their glances.
What's wrong? They're hurting me...
🎵 I wanna hold you 'til I die, 'til we breakdown and cry.🎵
My new ringtone rang.
"Excuse me, everyone!" I said awkwardly, noticing the unknown number.
Should I take this call?
Well, there's nothing wrong, right?
"Hello?" I picked up the call.
"Your end will come sooner!" a woman's voice declared.
"Who are you?" I asked softly.
"No one, just no one!" she answered before laughing like an evil villain and hanging up.
Who was that? I know that's not Sabrina! I'm sure of that.
I was about to go back when I received another call.
It's Raze.
"Hey!" I said instantly.
"Love?" his voice sounded sad.
"What's wrong? Where are you now?" I asked.
"I love you, Love. I want you to stay still and trust me. Okay? Let's talk later when I get home. Wait for me. Okay?" he said softly.
Why? His voice cracked, and it broke my heart.
"Are you okay, Raze?"
"Nothing's wrong, love. I miss you!" he whispered on the phone, his voice barely audible.
"Are you crying or what?" I couldn't help but ask, feeling increasingly curious about his strange behavior.
"I'm not, love. See you later. I love you," he said and hung up the call.
Sigh! He made me more curious and sad.
I went back and continued eating. This was the first time we ate silently. I didn't know what had happened earlier, but it seemed like they were all really affected.
I didn't bother myself thinking about the issue. I walked beside the pool, where he often surprised me. The memories with him were ones I didn't want to forget. I loved him so much! But until when? Until when could I handle this? Until when would I choose my own happiness?
I soaked my feet in the pool, then laid down on the nest swing.
I played some music while scrolling on my phone, checking for new updates on Instagram.
Oh? Raze did this?
Raze had an interview earlier.
"Yeah! I'm wholeheartedly owned by Lorence Catherine Celo!" That was the end of his video. He didn't answer some more questions and didn't give much information about me.
He made me cry. In fact, I cried.
I'm wholeheartedly owned by my ungentleman billionaire.
"Lorence! Lorence, wake up!"
"Lorence!" I shivered; it was cold.
I hugged myself tightly.
"Mother Sharn!" I said, looking around.
The skies were dark, and the stars shone brightly.
"Why are you sleeping here?" she asked, clearly worried.
I'm waiting, I'm waiting for the other half of my heart.
"Oh? Um, did he—"
"He didn't come home! Go! Get inside," she guided me, so I stood. He didn't come home? I waited.
I fell asleep while waiting.
"Your phone!" Mother Sharn handed me my phone.
Where did he sleep? Is he with Sabrina? Is he comforting Sabrina?
We walked inside while my thoughts were totally confused and messed up, and my feelings weighed heavily on me.
I checked the time on my phone; it was already 3:40 am. Gosh! Raze, you broke your word.
"Sleep tight, Lorence!" I snapped back to reality at her words.
"Mother Sharn! I don't know what to do!" I couldn't stop myself; I cried again.
I hugged myself tightly, feeling cold, my heart feeling even colder.
"I want you to fight! We never saw him happy the way he was with you!" she said and hugged me.
"I don't know if I'm able to fight anymore. Fate loves to play!" I cried, unable to stop the tears.
"I know he loves you, and I want you to fight for him. Okay?" Mother Sharn said soothingly. I ended up believing her, nodding in response.
I'll fight if he'll fight with me.
"Good morning," she said.
And so, the new day started, with new experiences waiting.
Is it a heartbreak?
Is it a lasting love?
I don't care. I only want to be happy with him.
