Chapter 51 - The Talk

Jamar sat on the couch, his fingers tapping nervously against each other as he avoided his parents' gaze. The silence in the room was suffocating, thick with unspoken words and charged emotions. His mother, Zoey, sat across from him, her eyes filled with a mix of worry and sadness. His father, Adrian, stood with his arms crossed, his expression a mask of anger and disappointment. The swelling on Jamar's face seemed to amplify the tension in the room.

Adrian broke the silence, his voice stern and demanding. "What do you have to say for yourself, Jamar?" He looked at his trembling son, struggling to control his temper. While he was furious, he needed to understand what had driven Jamar to this point.
