The line was very long, almost reaching the dock, and was still growing every single second. Looking into the distance, Victor could see even more ships coming from afar, perhaps carrying even more candidates.
'She really didn't lie when she said that millions come here. I have been here for a few minutes and I already saw hundreds of candidates.' He mused. Hearing about something and seeing it with one's own eyes were a different thing.
Victor understood that this was perhaps the most important event in this world. But, only now did the scale of it start dawning on him slowly.
Then, his eyes shifted to the actual candidates that filled the entire dock. Most of them looked rather… Normal. Or to be more precise, inconspicuous. Victor didn't know what he was expecting them to look like, but they certainly appeared far more normal than he expected.
