[Meghnad's POV]
"Halt! Invaders to the sacred Sea of Serpents," the Naga warrior hissed, its voice reverberating with an ancient authority that sent a shiver down my spine. Its massive form towered over us, scales gleaming like polished obsidian under the faint green glow of the mist. The air grew colder still, each breath heavy with tension.
"Turn around and leave, before you might not be alive to regret your foolishness," it continued, drawing a wickedly curved spear from its back. The weapon glimmered ominously, its blade etched with runes that pulsed faintly, mirroring the serpentine patterns on the stone archway.
I turned to Anjali with a smirk as I mouthed 'See, words are totally going to work here.' Anjali, however, shot me a glare that practically screamed 'Don't even think about it.'
