[Meghnad's POV]
As the evening festivities continued, I found a moment to slip away to the palace gardens. The night air was cool and refreshing, and the stars twinkled brightly in the sky. I walked along the familiar paths, reflecting on the day's events and the unexpected return of my second mother, Queen Dhanyamalini.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me. Turning around, I saw my father, King Ravana, approaching. His regal presence was softened by a gentle smile. "Meghnad, I see you needed some quiet time," he said, his voice warm and understanding.
I nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. "Yes, Father."
He gestured for me to sit beside him on a stone bench under a large flowering tree. "Tell me about it, I might be able to help," he said, his eyes filled with paternal concern.
"When did you start your training to awaken Yogic Prana?" I asked, curious about the path my father had taken.
Father leaned back, his eyes reflecting the distant memories of his own journey. "I began my training when I was around twice your age, about six years old. It was my father, your grandfather who guided me through the initial stages. Yogic Prana is a deeply personal and transformative journey, Meghnad. It's not just about mastering the physical aspects but understanding the spiritual and mental realms as well."
I listened intently, absorbing his words. "Was it difficult, Father?"
He nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, it was challenging, but it was also one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The discipline, the focus, and the connection with the universe – it all shaped me into who I am today. But remember, each journey is unique. You will face your own challenges and discover your own strengths."
I felt a surge of determination. "I want to start my training soon, Father. I want to be strong and wise, like you."
Father placed a hand on my shoulder, his touch reassuring. "And you will, Meghnad. But don't rush it. Take your time to enjoy your childhood and learn the foundations. When the time is right, you'll be ready to embark on that journey."
I nodded, feeling a sense of calm and resolve. "Thank you, Father."
We sat in comfortable silence for a while, the sounds of the celebration faint in the background. The night was peaceful, and the stars seemed to shine a little brighter.
"Meghnad," Father said after a while, breaking the silence. "There's something else I wanted to tell you about."
I looked up at him, my curiosity piqued. "What is it, Father?"
Father's expression grew serious, though his eyes remained kind. "As you know, our kingdom is strong, but we are surrounded by other powerful forces. There are always challenges and threats that we must be prepared to face. You are the crown prince and one day, you will inherit this responsibility."
I nodded, feeling the weight of his words. "I understand, Father. I will do my best to be worthy of that responsibility."
He smiled, a touch of pride in his gaze. "I have no doubt you will, Meghnad. But it's not just about strength and wisdom. It's also about understanding the people, knowing their needs and fears, and earning their trust and respect. A true leader must be compassionate as well as strong."
I absorbed his words, realizing the depth of the path ahead. "I will remember that, Father."
He nodded, satisfied. "Good. Now, let's return to the celebration. Tonight is a night of joy, and we should be with our family."
We stood and made our way back to the palace, the sounds of music and laughter growing louder as we approached. As we entered the hall, I saw my family gathered, their faces lit with happiness and warmth. Mother and Maa were laughing together, while Aunt Surpanakha entertained a group with her stories.
The rest of the evening passed in a blur of joy and celebration. I danced, laughed, and shared moments with each member of my family, feeling the strong bond that united us.
As the night wore on, the festivities gradually wound down. I found myself sitting with Kavya in a quiet corner of the garden, the sounds of the party fading into the background.
"Kavya, what do you think of Queen Dhanyamalini?" I asked, curious about her perspective.
Kavya smiled softly. "She seems kind and caring, Yuvraj. I think she will be a wonderful addition to our family."
"So~ you finally acknowledge us as your family!" I teased, a playful glint in my eyes.
Kavya's cheeks turned a light shade of pink, but she nodded, her expression sincere. "Yes, Yuvraj. You and your family have always treated me with kindness and respect. I am grateful for that."
I smiled warmly, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for Kavya's loyalty and friendship. "We are lucky to have you, Kavya. You are as much a part of this family as anyone else."
Kavya's eyes shone with appreciation, and she bowed her head slightly. "Thank you, Yuvraj. That means a lot to me."
As the night grew quieter, we sat in companionable silence, watching the stars twinkle in the sky. The day's events had been overwhelming, but they had also brought a new sense of unity and joy to our family.
Eventually, I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. Turning, I saw Maa Mandodari standing behind me, her eyes soft with affection. "It's getting late, Meghnad. You should get some rest."
I nodded, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over me. "Alright, Maa. Goodnight, Kavya."
"Tonight I will be sleeping with you, Meghnad. " Maa said as she followed me to my quarters. The warmth of her presence was comforting after such a busy and emotional day. As we walked through the palace corridors, the sounds of the celebration slowly faded, leaving behind a tranquil atmosphere.
Once we reached my room, Maa Mandodari helped me settle into bed. I was still filled with the day's experiences—the return of Mother, the joyful celebrations, and the meaningful conversation with Father. It had been a day of new beginnings and deeper connections.
She too lay beside me and took me in her embrace as I settled into bed. The soft rustling of her garments and the gentle warmth of her embrace were soothing. I closed my eyes, feeling a deep sense of contentment and security.
Maa Mandodari's voice was a soft murmur in the quiet of the room. "You handled today with great maturity, Meghnad. I am proud of you, my son."
I nestled closer, feeling her heartbeat steady against my own. "Thank you, Maa. It means a lot to hear that."
She stroked my hair gently, a comforting gesture that had always brought me peace. "You have many responsibilities ahead of you, but remember that you are never alone in this journey. Your family is always here for you, and you have the strength to rise to any challenge."
I nodded, absorbing her words. "I will remember that. I want to be worthy of the trust you and Father have in me."
Maa Mandodari kissed my forehead, her touch tender and reassuring. "You already are, Meghnad. Just be true to yourself and the values we have taught you. Everything will fall into place."
The comforting silence enveloped us as I drifted into sleep, feeling safe and cherished in my mother's embrace. The trials of the day and the weight of future responsibilities seemed lighter in the calm of the night.
As I slept, my dreams were filled with glimpses of the future—visions of battles, leadership, and moments of joy and sorrow. Yet through it all, the image of my family remained constant, a source of strength and inspiration.

"Did it happen?" Indra repeated, his voice echoing through the grand hall. His eyes were sharp and penetrating, searching for answers amidst the celestial throng.
A figure stepped forward from the assembly—Chandra, the Moon God, whose serene demeanor contrasted with the gravity of the question. Chandra's eyes, shimmering with the light of the moon, met Indra's with a blend of respect and solemnity. "Yes, Lord Indra. Brahma Dev and Mahadev both have entered deep meditation and will not be awake until time is unknown. And we have bribed both Jaya and Vijaya gatekeepers of Vaikuntha to close the gates for the time being."
Indra nodded, his expression thoughtful as he absorbed this information. The gods and goddesses around him seemed to hold their breath, awaiting further instructions or revelations.
