Chapter 21 - Chapter No.21 Tandav (2)

[Kailash Parvat]

High in the mystical realms of Kailash Parvat, the divine abode of Lord Shiva, an ethereal serenity pervaded the air. The mighty Himalayan peaks stood as silent sentinels, their snowy summits shimmering in the soft moonlight. Amidst this tranquil landscape, the celestial sounds of the universe intertwined, creating a symphony that resonated with the essence of existence.

In the heart of this divine realm, Lord Shiva sat in deep meditation. His serene visage exuded an otherworldly calm, his closed eyes reflecting the profound depths of his inner stillness. The gentle murmur of the sacred Ganga flowing from his matted locks and the soft rustle of the wind in the ancient trees harmonized with the universal vibrations emanating from the Lord himself.

Nearby, the goddess Parvati, resplendent in her divine form, observed her consort with a loving gaze. Her eyes, filled with infinite wisdom and compassion, reflected the boundless love she held for Shiva. The union of their divine energies created an aura of cosmic harmony, a testament to their eternal bond.

The celestial beings, the ganas, and the various sages who frequented Kailash Parvat, paid their silent homage to Mahadev and Devi Parvati. They knew that in this sacred space, the very essence of the universe was being contemplated, and the destinies of countless beings were being woven into the cosmic tapestry.

As Lord Shiva's meditation deepened, a subtle smile played on his lips. His consciousness, vast and all-encompassing, touched upon the events unfolding in the mortal realm. He perceived the devotion of his greatest devotee, the mighty Asura King Ravana, and the awakening of spiritual purpose within Ravana's son, Meghnad.

The divine dance of Tandava, performed with such fervor and dedication by Ravana, echoed in the cosmic vibrations that Shiva attuned himself to. The depth of Ravana's devotion and the purity of his intentions resonated with the very core of Mahadev's being. Shiva's smile widened, a gesture of divine acknowledgment and grace.

Parvati, sensing the shift in Shiva's energy, approached him with a gentle curiosity. "Swami (Husband), what brings such a smile to your face?" she inquired, her voice as soothing as the flow of the sacred Ganga.

Shiva opened his eyes, his gaze soft and filled with an ancient knowing. "Priye (Darling), our devotee Ravana has once again honored me with his unparalleled devotion. His dance, the Tandava, performed with such intensity and reverence, has reached the realms of Kailash. It is a reminder of the deep bond that exists between the divine and the devoted."

"Oh~ that Asura king? I still remember that day when he came and lifted the whole Kailash with his bare hands. Such immense strength and determination, albeit driven by pride, is indeed remarkable," Parvati remarked with a gentle smile, recalling the legendary event.

Shiva nodded, his expression contemplative. "Indeed, Priye (Darling). Ravana's devotion is as fierce as his pride, but it is his unwavering faith and dedication that endears him to me. How he chanted those words after I crushed his fingers with my toe and played the veena with his nerves. His music resonated with such devotion that it moved even me. It's a rare quality, to possess such relentless will and strength of character."

Parvati smiled softly, understanding the depth of her husband's admiration. "It is said that true devotion can move mountains and touch the divine. Ravana, despite his flaws, is a testament to that. Yet, his pride often leads him astray."

Shiva sighed. "Yes, pride is both his strength and his downfall. It is a lesson for all—balance is essential. Devotion without humility can lead one to ruin."

As they stood together, the divine energy around them seemed to pulse with life, reflecting their shared thoughts and concerns.

Parvati's gaze softened as she continued, "But what of his son, Meghnad?"

"..." A smile made its way to Shiva's lips as he considered the question. "Meghnad," he asked, "Do you remember little Ancalagon?"

Parvati's eyes brightened with recognition. "Of course, I remember my little Logan, I used to take care of his beautiful black wings. But he... he just disappeared one day, I tried... I tried to find him everywhere but to no avail. The search was endless, and I felt a deep sense of loss. What of him, Swami?"

But Lord Shiva didn't reply and just smiled softly and meaningfully at Parvati. His silence seemed to speak volumes, and an unspoken understanding passed between them.

As she recognized the look on her Swami's face, tears began to well up in Parvati's eyes, reflecting a mixture of happiness and excitement, "Is... Meghnad? I am going to see him again? Is he truly the reincarnation of Ancalagon?"

Shiva's smile grew tender, and he reached out to gently touch Parvati's cheek. "Yes, Priye. Meghnad carries within him the spirit and legacy of Ancalagon. The essence of your beloved little one has taken form once more, and he is now a central figure in the grand design of fate."

Parvati's tears sparkled with joy and relief. "To think that the child I cherished and lost has returned. Let's go, Swami, let us go to where Meghnad is. I wish to see him, to feel his presence and offer him my guidance and love once more."

Shiva looked at Parvati with deep affection and understanding. "Priye, the path to Meghnad is not always straightforward. His journey is fraught with challenges, and the time for his reunion with us may not yet have arrived."

"B-But... I want to hold him... he looked so lonely before he needed my love... Please Swami let's go."

Shiva's gaze softened with empathy as he saw the depth of Parvati's longing. "I understand, Priye. Your desire to be with Meghnad is heartfelt and pure. However, his journey is one that he must walk with his own strength and resolve. The divine plan has its own timing, and sometimes our presence is felt in ways beyond direct intervention."

Parvati's eyes were filled with a mix of hope and sadness. "I just want to be there for him, to offer him the love and support he needs. I feel so connected to him, even from afar."

Shiva wrapped Parvati in a gentle embrace, his touch warm and reassuring. "Priye," he said softly, "sometimes the greatest support we can offer is through the strength of our love and the energy we send forth. Meghnad's journey is one of profound significance, and your love reaches him even if you are not physically present."

Parvati nestled closer to Shiva, her emotions a swirling mix of longing and acceptance. "But I feel so helpless, how come you don't want to meet him, hold him, or love him?"

Shiva's expression shifted abruptly, his previously calm demeanor now charged with a rare intensity. "Do you think that my reluctance to immediately go to Meghnad is a sign of indifference?" he asked, his voice tinged with a potent mix of frustration and sorrow. "It is not that I do not wish to be with him or offer him my love directly. It is that the nature of his journey is intricate and requires a careful approach."

Parvati looked at Shiva, her eyes wide with confusion and hurt. "Swami, I don't understand. My heart aches to be there for him, and yet you seem so distant. Why can't we help him directly?"

Shiva's eyes bore into Parvati's with a mix of gravity and tenderness. "Let me ask you a question, Priye. What do you think our little Logan will say if we tried to interfere in his journey, despite all the love and intentions behind it?"

Parvati's voice trailed off, her eyes widening in realization and horror. "He would... hate us for interfering in his journey, despite all the love and intentions behind it?"

Shiva nodded solemnly. "Yes, Priye. True growth and strength come from within. Meghnad, as Ancalagon reborn, must face his own trials and challenges to realize his true potential. If we were to interfere directly, we might not only disrupt his path but also prevent him from achieving the growth he needs. Our love, though profound, must be expressed in ways that support his journey without overshadowing it."

Parvati's heart ached with a mixture of understanding and sorrow. "I see now. It's not about not caring or being indifferent. It's about allowing him the space to grow and learn on his own. I... I just wanted to make sure he knew he was loved and supported."

"What do you think he is not getting enough love right now? He is the crown prince of Lanka, and his father Ravana and mother Mandodari dotes on him. The whole kingdom dotes on him with all the love and care they can provide," Shiva said, his tone gentle yet firm.

Parvati's eyes reflected a mix of empathy and understanding. "I understand now. Even if it feels like I'm far from him, my love can still reach him through my prayers and the energy I send. It's about finding a balance between supporting him from afar and allowing him the space he needs."

Shiva smiled, his expression softening. "Precisely, Priye. Your love and support are powerful, and they will guide him in subtle ways. The divine plan weaves its threads intricately, and every challenge he faces will contribute to his growth. Sometimes, the most profound impact we can have is through the strength of our presence in the form of love and faith."

Parvati nodded, her heart feeling lighter as she embraced Shiva's wisdom. "Thank you, Swami. I will trust in the divine plan and continue to offer my love and prayers for Meghnad. I will support him from afar and hold on to the hope that my love reaches him."

Shiva gently kissed Parvati's forehead. "Your love is a beacon of light for him, Priye. It will guide him through the darkest moments and help him find his way. Trust in the journey and in the strength of your connection, even when you cannot be physically present."

With renewed determination and a heart full of hope, Parvati gazed out at the serene beauty of Kailash. She felt a deep sense of peace, knowing that her love and support would continue to play a crucial role in Meghnad's journey, no matter the distance between them.

"My little Logan~"
