"I just entered the tower, so I don't even know where I am," Xander answered.
"Ahh, ok. I see, I see. You aren't a native to the 1st universe of the tower," the tall boy said.
"Yes, exactly. So could you help point me in the right direction? A city with a good academy would be great," Xander said.
This put a smile on both the sibling's faces.
The boy said, "Actually, we were headed back to the academy in Astraea before our crazy uncle kidnapped us out of jealousy of our father and a little extra money. So, if you want to go to an academy, you are more than welcome to join the one we go to. And if you don't have enough money to pay for the entrance fee, we have plenty of money that our father gave us. It's in our uncle's spatial ring. Since you saved us, you're welcome to have it all."
"Hmm… thanks," Xander said.
"Which one is your uncle?" he asked.
The boy pointed over at one of the men. "That's him, Kim Jae-hoon."
Xander walked over and took his spatial ring that was filled with all kinds of stuff, including a ton of cash, a couple of beast cores, weapons, and what looked to be a couple of bricks of gold.
"Thanks. I don't need all of this, so if you need some, just ask," Xander said, not caring about money that much.
"No, no, it's no problem. When we get back to the city, we can just go to the bank. Our father is well off," the pretty girl said.
"Ok, if you say so," Xander said as he went and looted the other two bodies.
He even switched out his main spatial ring with the uncle's since it was so much better than his current one.
"Umm… are our cell phones perhaps in there?" the girl asked.
Xander gave the spatial ring a look over, pulled out three phones and handed them over, "Are these yours?"
Both the siblings took the phones and shook their heads, "Damn, it looks like he tossed ours."
After they got over the phone thing, Xander asked, "So which direction are we going?"
"Ahh… yes," the boy said, then he pointed northwest. "Astraea is that way, about a three-day journey if we aren't slow and nothing crazy happens."
"Alright, well, if that's it, I'll get rid of your chains, and we can head out," Xander said as he tossed over a key that he figured unlocked the handcuffs and chains around their waists.
After that, they started their journey back to civilization.
"So, what's your name?" the girl asked.
"Oh, my bad. Umm… my name is Xander Stone. What's yours?"
The girl answered, "My name is Kim Soo-jin(Korean: Kim Sue-jean), and this is my twin brother, Kim Jae-sung(Korean: Kim Jay-soong)."
"Ok, well, it's nice to meet you, Kim Soo-jin and Kim Jae-sung. I hope I'm saying that right," Xander said.
Soo-jin then told Xander the correct way to pronounce their names in Korean.
"So what planet are we on? Please tell me it's Karael?" Xander asked, hoping to be on the same planet as Shin Yoo-na, the girl his brother had told him he could trust 100%.
"No, unfortunately, you just missed the mark. This is Lumoria, but you're not too far off. Karael is two planets over, so it shouldn't cost too much to teleport or fly over. But it will cost you much, much more than the money you have on you."
'Damn,' Xander had really hoped he had hit it in one shot. 'Well, it looks like I'll have to start saving up some money.'
After walking for another couple of hours, making small talk, Xander had a much better idea about the world he found himself on.
For one, they were headed to Astraea, one of the largest and most flourishing cities on the planet, and the academy they would be joining was the Academy of Lumoria, named after the planet they were on.
There were a couple of danger zones in the area, but they were days away from them.
There was the Ecliptic Forest and the Void Chasm.
He also learned the valley he had just left wasn't even named due to it being so small, even though to him the place seemed to be massive.
He couldn't imagine how big this world was, or the entire universe for that matter.
There were also several dungeons around the area, including the Glowing Abyss, Celestial Sanctum, and the Nebula Swamp.
He also found out that most of the surrounding planets were populated with people from Earth and, more specifically, Asia, with this planet, Karael, and two other nearby planets being mostly populated with people of Korean descent. That's why he kept running into Korean names.
Even though the council had long introduced a new common language that everyone spoke, most people, including humans not from Earth, kept using their original languages' names to keep in touch with their past.
Another thing was the cost it would take to fly or use the planetary teleporters, and they were right. He didn't have nearly enough money, and he wasn't sure how he was going to come up with all of it, but he would do what he had to do to go and find Shin Yoo-na, the only person his brother seemed to trust.
After days of travel and not running into any more problems, they had finally made it to Astraea. It was a large and beautiful city. It had these large trees with red leaves spread throughout the city, giving the entire city a red tint.
The city was very large. According to Jae-sung, it was over 1,000 square miles (which was around 150 square miles more than Tokyo, Japan) and had an estimated population of 30 million people (which was 7 million less people than Tokyo, Japan).
The two twins that Xander had started to get closer to led him through the bustling streets straight to the Academy of Lumoria, which was located at the top of a small mountain toward the back of the city.
Once Xander walked into the gates onto the grounds of the academy, he was once again amazed.
He had grown up in the poor Division 97 and the outskirts at that, so he was used to rundown buildings and clothes with people who always seemed to be in a bad mood. But this place was a breath of fresh air, with everything seeming to look new and all the people looking to be happy.
The academy, much like the city, was full of life.
The academy based its color tone off the city's red, with each building having some form of red somewhere on it.
There was also a large sign at the front of the main building that said 'Academy of Lumoria' in big red letters with 'in Astraea' in smaller letters under it.
The two siblings led Xander over to the admissions office that accepted people year-round due to people from all sorts of ages and backgrounds ranking up from dormant to G-rank at any time throughout the year.
