I smiled, my eyes gleaming with amusement, as I said, "So, are you coming or not?" I slowly removed my glasses, holding them in my hand, and added, "I don't want to get these dirty, they're my favorite glasses..."
Suddenly, the air seemed to tear apart, and I heard the sound of a punch being thrown. I tilted my head to the right, and my eyes landed on a vampire who had launched a attack at my head. "Oh, it seems the first brave one came!" I exclaimed, a smile still plastered on my face.
I quickly reacted, and before the vampire could even think, I had him in a tight grip. I lifted him off the ground, and he struggled to free himself, punching and kicking at me. I watched with interest as he tried to bite my hand, but his fangs shattered into pieces. I saw the fear in his eyes, a primal fear that seemed to drive him to desperation.
"Okay, now it's my turn, I think," I said, a playful smile still on my face. I squeezed my hand tightly, and with a swift motion, I threw the vampire across the room. The ground beneath me seemed to sink, and the air exploded as the vampire crashed into the wall.
I heard the sound of bones and flesh breaking, and I turned to see the vampire's body torn into pieces. But to my surprise, he began to move, his body slowly reassembling itself. He got to his feet, his skin broken and torn, and glared at me with eyes full of anger.
"You... DAMN CO--" he began to shout, but I interrupted him, spitting a wad of saliva that shot out faster than a bullet. I heard the sound of something exploding, and the vampire's head burst into pieces, his blood and brain matter splattering everywhere.
The room fell silent, and then I heard the sound of vampires moving towards me. I sighed and said, "Okay, I think I should move my body, it's been a while since I did it..."
I dodged a blow that seemed blurry to human eyes, and I grabbed a vampire's arm, applying some pressure. I heard the sound of bones breaking, and skin tearing, and I ignored the screams of pain as I punched the vampire in the face. But I seemed to have used too much strength, and his head exploded like a water balloon.
"Oh, my bad..." I muttered, dodging more punches and kicks with ease.
I jumped back and landed on a table, and I saw the vampires coming towards me. I jumped into the air and landed on a vampire's head with my foot, and I said, "It seems your luck has run out, buddy."
I applied some pressure to my foot, and the vampire's head crashed into the ground, exploding into pieces. I fell to the ground, dodging more punches and kicks with ease.
I approached a vampire with a dagger, and I grabbed the dagger without him being able to react. I quickly cut his head off, and I muttered, "Nice dagger," as I examined it. It looked like an expensive dagger.
I quickly moved the dagger at speeds greater than the speed of sound, and dozens of vampires were cut into pieces. The room fell silent, and the remaining vampires looked at me in fear.
I stared at them and said, "Weren't you guys trying to kill me? Why don't you do it now?"
But they just slowly backed away, and one of them turned around to run. I sighed and said, "Okay..."
But before the vampire could reach the door, my shadow sprang to life, and a pair of massive jaws erupted from the ground, their teeth snapping shut with deadly precision. The vampire was consumed in an instant, its body disappearing into the darkness as if it had been swallowed whole. The only evidence of its existence was the faint scent of blood.
I smiled at the vampires and said, "Okay, should we keep playing?" They quickly panicked and began to run away.
Suddenly, I heard the sound of a door opening, and I saw a group of people in black suits entering the room. They were tall, with one of them standing at an impressive 6.8 feet tall, towering over me. I smiled and said, "So... they are the guards of this place, right?"
Before I could even finish my sentence, one of the guards jumped towards me in a blink of an eye, his speed surpassing that of the vampires I had encountered earlier. I dodged his blow with ease, and with a swift motion, I kicked his legs with some force. He flew through the air, performing several flips before crashing into a table that shattered into pieces. "Shit... that hurts," I heard the guard mutter, and I replied with a smirk, "It's normal, get used to it, although I don't think this will last long..."
I quickly closed the distance between us, my speed allowing me to arrive next to the guard in an instant. As he struggled to get up, I crushed his head with a swift kick, my foot applying enough force to break his skull like a watermelon. His limp body stopped moving, and I heard a vampire's angry scream, "SON OF A BITCH!!" which only made me smile. "Haha, thanks for the compliment!"
The other guards charged at me, but I simply watched as they approached. I tossed the dagger to the ground, its blade broken, and said with a grin, "Hey, since you're here, let me try something." I clenched my fist with some force, planted my feet firmly on the ground, and tensed the muscles in my body. A guard quickly arrived in front of me, and I threw my fist at his chest with incredible speed. My fist became a blur as it struck him, and the air around us seemed to shatter. The tables nearby flew through the air, and the wind was so strong that it reached every corner of the room. The guard flew backward, crashing into the wall with incredible force. Cracks appeared on the wall, and they quickly spread from the wall to the ceiling.
The guard lay motionless, his chest sunken and his organs likely destroyed. I gazed at him with a mixture of curiosity and satisfaction, my experiment having yielded the desired results.
The other guards quickly sprang to their feet and charged towards me, their movements swift and determined. I smiled, savoring the moment, and assumed a fighting stance. "Ok, show time gentlemen!" I exclaimed, my eyes gleaming with excitement.
The attacks were slow, and I dodged them with ease. I grabbed an arm that passed by me and lifted the guard off the ground, holding him in mid-air. With a swift motion, I threw him at the other guards, who were caught off guard and stumbled backward as they tried to catch their comrade. The guard I had thrown crashed into several tables, sending them shattering into pieces that flew through the air.
"Come on guys, is that it?" I said, my voice laced with disappointment. "This is a little disappointing..." I had expected more from the vampires, but so far, they had been a letdown.
The guards quickly got up, their faces set with determination. This time, it seemed they were going to make a plan, maybe even coordinate their attacks. One of them launched himself at me, aiming a kick at my chest. I grabbed his leg in mid-air, my fingers closing around his ankle like a vice. I smiled, feeling a surge of excitement, and squeezed hard. The guard's skin, flesh, and bone tore apart with a sickening crunch, and I ripped off half of his leg. His scream of agony was music to my ears, and I couldn't help but smile even more.
With a swift motion, I moved my hand and attacked him, decapitating his head with a single blow. "Well, is that all?" I said, looking around at the remaining guards. "I think I'll go see your boss..." My eyes gleamed with excitement, and I took a step forward, eager to take on the next challenge.
"Alright, let's get this over with," I said, a wide smile spreading across my face. I clenched my fists tightly, feeling a surge of energy and anticipation. "Time to get physical," I added, my eyes gleaming with excitement.

"What the hell is going on...?" the boss muttered to himself as he left the room, Joshua following closely behind. Joshua's eyes darted back and forth, scanning the surroundings with caution. The sound of music drifted through the air, growing louder with each step, and the boss's curiosity seemed to be piqued. "Who's making trouble now...?" he wondered aloud, his voice laced with a mixture of annoyance and intrigue.
But his stride faltered, and Joshua's eyes snapped back to the boss as he stopped in his tracks. The air was thick with the unmistakable scent of fresh blood, and it wasn't human. It was the rotten, metallic tang of vampire blood. The boss's eyes narrowed, and a hint of a smile played on his lips. "It seems that a troublesome guest came..." he murmured, his voice dripping with amusement.
Suddenly, the door to the guest room burst open, and a figure shot out towards the boss. The boss barely raised an eyebrow, his hand moving with amazing speed to strike the person. The sound of flesh meeting flesh was followed by the crunch of bone, and the person was sent flying into a nearby wall. The wall cracked and splintered under the force of the impact, and the person slumped to the ground, motionless.
The boss gazed down at the person he had hit, one of his guards. The guard's shirt was torn and tattered, his body a mess of cuts and gashes. Muscles and blood were visible beneath the torn skin, and bones were exposed in some places. The boss's blow had sunk the guard's face even further into his skull, and his eyes seemed to be staring into nothingness. "Haa... what a nuisance," the boss muttered, his voice dripping with disdain. He ignored the guard's lifeless body and stepped through the doorway, Joshua following closely behind. But Joshua couldn't help but cast a glance back at the dead guard, his eyes wide with a mixture of shock and fear.
As they stepped through the doorway, the two of them were hit with the cacophony of music and the putrid stench of dead vampires. The large room was a scene of utter carnage, with the corpses of vampires scattered everywhere, including the guards. The walls were cracked and broken, with fissures that extended all the way to the ceiling. In the center of the room, a lone figure stood with his hands in his pockets, his eyes fixed on the ceiling with a look of utter boredom. The lights in the room flickered, casting eerie shadows on the walls, and seemed to be on the verge of cutting off at any moment.
"That was...disappointing," Lucius said, his voice dripping with boredom as he gazed up at the ceiling. His crimson eyes seemed empty, devoid of any spark or interest, but as he looked down and caught sight of Joshua and the boss, they regained their shine. A wide smile spread across his face, and he seemed to come alive with excitement.
"Ohh, finally more people came," Lucius said, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "The very boss of this area of Philadelphia, not bad." He chuckled to himself, clearly pleased with the arrival of new company.
"Alright, who are you?" the boss asked, his eyes narrowing in annoyance. "From the bastards of the north or the south?" Lucius just smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I'm my own boss," he said, his voice dripping with confidence.
The boss's gaze locked onto Lucius', his eyes searching for something. "You... are different," he said, his voice low and thoughtful. Lucius's smile grew even wider, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yeah, after all, I'm only looking at my juniors," he said, his voice dripping with condescension. "Besides, you look promising. I hope you don't disappoint me. Before I get the thing I want, I'll play with you a little."
Without warning, the boss launched himself at Lucius, his speed a blur as he closed the distance between them. Lucius didn't flinch, his eyes never leaving the boss's face. The boss appeared in front of Lucius and threw an axe kick towards his head with incredible force. Lucius barely moved, his shoulder absorbing the impact. The ground beneath him sank and broke into pieces, but Lucius didn't even stumble.
The boss's eyes widened in surprise as he realized that his attack hadn't even fazed Lucius. "You're certainly much stronger than the other assholes," Lucius said, his voice dripping with mockery. "But... is that all?" he asked, his smile growing even wider.
"Damn..." the boss muttered, his voice laced with frustration. In a flash, he vanished, retreating down the wooden hallway to the safety of his office. Joshua watched in stunned silence as his boss fled, his eyes wide with incredulity. "Are you... are you serious?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Oh... are you scared?" Lucius asked, his voice laced with amusement, his smile somewhat arrogant. "That was a little unexpected," he added, his eyes glinting with interest.
Lucius strolled casually towards the door that led to the exquisite wooden hallway, passing by Joshua as he did so. Joshua quickly scurried away, but his escape was short-lived. A shadow suddenly crossed his chest, and a large crimson puddle of blood splashed onto the floor. In the blink of an eye, Joshua was swallowed up by the shadows, his body absorbed by Lucius.
Lucius's eyes lit up with interest as he examined the memories that flooded into his mind. "Oh... a ritual?" he murmured, his voice filled with curiosity. He smiled to himself, clearly intrigued by what he had discovered.
As he walked down the hallway, the shadows seemed to come alive behind him. Hundreds of crimson eyes flooded the hallway, and dozens of mouths with sharp teeth emerged from the darkness, their terrifying smiles illuminating the corridor.
"This is going to be fun... so much fun," Lucius muttered to himself, his smile growing so wide it seemed to threaten to split his cheeks. He entered the boss's office, his eyes scanning the room with interest.
The room was in disarray, with a large hole in the floor where the two sofas had once stood. The hole looked recently broken, as if someone had forced their way through it. Stairs led down into the darkness, and the air was thick with an ominous presence. But Lucius was undaunted. He began to make his way down the stairs, his eyes fixed on the darkness below.
"I hope you don't disappoint me, little bat," he said, his voice dripping with anticipation.
--
The boss stood in a dimly lit underground chamber beneath his office, a space he had created specifically for the ascension ritual. The ritual was said to eliminate his weaknesses and transform him into a being of immense power, revered by the vampires. The walls were lined with flickering torches, casting eerie shadows on the stone tables that held ancient, yellowed parchments. The air was thick with the scent of old dust and decay.
At the far end of the chamber, a large stone pool filled with fresh blood seemed to glow with an otherworldly light. The boss approached the pool, his eyes fixed on the crimson liquid. "I hope this works... more than a hundred thousand pure people..." he murmured, a smile spreading across his face.
With a sense of anticipation, he walked to the edge of the pool and let himself fall into the blood, sinking beneath the surface. He closed his eyes, and seconds later, he felt his body begin to absorb the blood. The liquid in the pool started to move erratically, as if it were alive. The blood seemed to be drawn to the boss's body, entering his flesh, bones, and organs like thousands of worms burrowing into his skin.
The boss's scream echoed through the chamber, a sound of agony and transformation. Suddenly, everything seemed to stop, as if time itself had been reversed. The blood in the pool began to float in the air, defying gravity. Drops of blood rose slowly through the air, suspended in mid-air like tiny, crimson balloons. The temperature of the blood increased, and it began to boil, emitting a faint, eerie glow.
Footsteps echoed through the stone room, growing louder with each passing moment. The metal door to the room was suddenly torn from its hinges, flying across the room to crash against the wall farthest from the pool of blood. It fell to the floor with a deafening clang, and crimson eyes turned to regard the drops of blood suspended in mid-air. "Oh... that's new for sure," Lucius said, his voice dripping with interest.
As he entered the room, the drops of blood suddenly plummeted back into the pool, sending ripples through the surface. The blood stilled, becoming as calm and peaceful as a small lake on a windless day. But the tranquility was short-lived, as an arm suddenly emerged from the pool, its skin deathly pale and slick with blood. Lucius's smile grew wider as he said, "Well then... let me see that pure vampire you told Joshua about earlier. Show me what a decent vampire looks like..."
