"You were never meant to be born..you.killed your kin so you could take her place ".
Snow frowned clenching onto her bed covers. Her eyes were still tightly closed.
Her dream didn't seem to be peaceful at all.
When the maid walked in to wake her up she noticed the sweat covering her forehead.
"Mrs Alexander, are you okay?" she muttered.
Snow didn't answer or open her eyes but kept groaning in her sleep.
"Mistress, please wake up," she said.
Her eyes flew open as she jolted up, gasping for air.
"You okay " Snow turned to the maid who was asking.
"Mmm, am fine "Catching her breath Snow wiped her sweaty face.
But then frowned glancing at the maid.
"What did you call me?"
Confused the maid stood up in a panic.
"Did I do something wrong, mistress?".
"No, but you called me...".
"Mrs Alexander," she said.
"Yeah, ...but am not ".
"That is what the master said we should call you "
Snow sighed, Divean seemed serious about her being his wife. Whatever he was hiding Snow wanted to find out, maybe she would know his intentions for helping her.
"It's almost time, mistress. We need to get you ready" the maid's voice pulled her back from her trace.
...
For the first time since she woke up in his home, Snow came down the stairs. The maid led her to the dining table.
Divean and his family were at the table having breakfast.
His daughter got up running to her, a high smile on her face.
Snow opened her arms and hugged the little girl.
"Morning little one "
"Morning Snow " she giggled and took her hand to where her grandmother was.
"Granny, meet Snow my new mummy " she let out.
Divean choked on his coffee while Snow yelled a No.
His mother chuckled gazing at the two of them.
"Alia my angel I don't know where you heard that but we should ask Snow if she is okay with being your new mom," said her Grandmom.
Alia turned to look up at Snow who smiled awkwardly.
"You don't want to be my mom...but you said I was a pretty girl and...."
Snow panicked when she noticed the tears in the little girl's eyes.
"Am sorry Alia...please don't cry " she held her hand tighter.
"But I wanted you as my mommy...I like you..your smile " cried the little girl.
Snow smiled hugging her little body in her arms.
"Anyone would love to be your mom, sweetheart. But am not worth that honour, Alia " she let out.
Divean who had got up when his daughter started crying stopped midway after his mother had gestured him to stop breathing watching the two talk.
"But...I want you. I have always wanted you as my mommy " she blinked.
"Always?"Snow gapped.
Nodded Alia, she gripped her hand and led her away.
Divean frowned turning to his mother.
"This is bad, mother ".
"No, let them be. Your daughter might finally convince her " said his mother.
