Feeling the force fade away, Asher let out a small sigh. The world was his reign, and the sky was his flag. He felt like crushing anyone on his path. The red lightning cracked through the white flames. The world was almost destroyed; it was even surprising that it was still holding on.
'This feels fun.' Asher thought before facing the ablaze sky; for some reason...
Everything felt like a void.
He let out a small chuckle before raising one of his hands, which gripped the tachi firmly. The white blade with a firm golden hilt shone ablaze even now with such illuminance that it still felt surprising.
Staring at the red-eyed man in the sky, Asher gripped the Tachi tightly. A bead of sweat drooped down his forehead, his threadbare tunic waving intensely.
'Now.'
Immediately, he burst towards the sky, and a pair of white wings manifested themselves as he did so. A flash passed through his eyes as he advanced towards the it, letting his path ablaze.
The red-eyed man grinned even more before vanishing. Asher's eyes widened before twisting his torso, barely dodging a punch.
'He's fast.' He thought before twisting his body, bringing it forward a kick to the red-eyed man's face who had just manifested himself.
Blood splattered, and the red-eyed was sent flying to the ground beneath, engulfed with white flames. Just as the man was about to crash against the ground, he suddenly came to an abrupt halt.
Suddenly, space cracked, shattered into bits. The man had vanished from his place.
'Just where is he?' Asher thought, his eyes narrowed. Immediately, he twisted his body, dodging the man once more.
'Now you're done for!' Asher thought confidently, turning his hips, bringing forward a kick from the back. Just as he did so, his eyes widened, and the man vanished completely.
Instantly, Asher vanished from his spot, appearing in the distance.
'That was close.' He thought, staring at the barrage of flame spears that had just bulldozed the entire place to ashes.
The red-eyed man had appeared in the sky; an amusing grin had appeared on his face. Asher grunted before vanishing. He had to be fast for his plan to come into action.
'I need 10 seconds.' Asher thought before appearing behind the man. Bringing his tachi forward in a thrust. Just as the tachi was about to pierce the body of the red-eyed man, Asher's eyes widened.
'What?' He thought, looking toward the sky. A huge eye stared down upon him as if a true god was looking at a mortal. Suddenly, his expression turned into that of frustration. As he gritted his teeth, Asher vanished from his spot and appeared in the distance once again.
Astraeus stood still in the sky, looking at the battle with a nonchalant expression. His hair waved intensely from the shockwaves from the ongoing behemoth of a battle that sent mountains flying.
Asher, however, couldn't care less. Bringing both of his hands forward, he thought to himself.
'To survive, you must adapt. To win, you must adapt and hone it beyond your abilities. If only I can...' Before he could complete his thought, red lightning cracked through the sky once more.
[You have unlocked the Partial Form of the First sign]
As the voice came to an end, the red lightning had intensified to an extreme degree. The world was starting to tremble and the space was starting to crack just by the lightning alone.
"Seven suns, Seven Gods, The Spear of Astraeus," Asher exclaimed, hoping that his hunch would work once more.
Astraeus, in the sky, suddenly flinched upon those words. His eyes widened as he stared at Asher once again, but something was different; a new light shone upon his eyes just as he stared at Asher.
Asher, however, once more couldn't care less. A devious smile had covered his face; his hunch had worked. The Cosmic Energy from the sky intensified, circling around Asher.
The red-eyed man suddenly lost his amusing expression, replaced by a solemn one with eyes filled with worry. Asher's transformed white hair waved intensely, and the world beneath him started to crack as a whole.
His eyes started to emit a bluish-hue. Raising both of his hands, he controlled the cosmic energy at his will. The Cosmic Energy obediently did as Asher wished them to do.
A barrage of intense winds crashed upon the world as the cosmic energy circulated like a galaxy, slowly moulding itself into a spear. The eye in the sky stared at the world with its bottomless emotions as if it did not even fear the incoming threat.
The white flames beneath suddenly started to have a void colour convulse within themselves. Already spinning at such unfathomable speeds, the flames started to burst into the sky, their size increasing beyond Asher's wildest imagination.
The partial void flames had now engulfed half of the world and the sky as well. For the first time in his life, Asher felt like a god; the ground beneath was in his control, and so was the sky. The entire world was under his reign; he controlled it as he willed.
His grin widened slightly before completing the thought; gripping his tachi firmly, he stared ahead, facing the newly formed giant spear clad in cosmic energy.
Throwing the spear into his sky, Asher brought his hands forward, facing the gigantic spear.
"Fall," Asher said before the world suddenly got engulfed with such force that ripped mountains to shreds, not even bits of them remaining.
Astraeus stared at Asher with wide eyes; slowly, his face melted into a small smile.
Asher stood still; the ground beneath him was being torn apart; a surge of flame covered him like a protective coat, staying afloat in the air.
'I will rip you all apart.' Asher thought, his thoughts tinted with murderous intent.
The spear burst towards the sky; a shockwave shook the dimension under its utter might. The entire world beneath got torn apart. Holding onto the ground beneath, Asher stared at his creation going forward.
The red-eyed man stood still, stunned for a split second, before taking several actions simultaneously.
Making an unfamiliar hand sign, he said:
"Judgement Awakening: Divine Parade."
Immediately, another force on par with the one from the spear burst towards the world. Worry became evident in Asher's eyes before gritting his teeth.
A giant crack in space had opened in a triangular shape; a black void colour presented itself on the pathway to the other side of the crack. A giant tail exited through it.
'What now? Just that goddamn tail is suppressing my spear.' Asher thought, his worry deepened in his eyes. Suddenly, a memory passed through his eyes.
In that memory, he could remember only a single sentence, the sentence that had forced him to survive through anything he had to face.
"Insanity is what leads to survival. Be insane when you face your enemy, show no mercy. Survive at all costs. Survive! Give yourself to insanity!"
As that memory finished, Asher gritted his teeth once more. Clutching his hands so hard that blood started to flow from it. He closed his eyes.
'What now? What should I do? How do I survive this?' He thought, but only despair came to him; nothing showed itself.
However, suddenly, Asher's eyes widened.
'Nothing. Wait, nothing... nothing is the answer.' Asher thought, his pupils contracting. What even is a person without fate? Nothing. What even is a human without his humanity? Nothing.
"If that's the case, then what even am I without this strength? Nothing." Asher muttered, a grin appeared on his face as he completed his thought
And what was the manifestation of nothing?
The Void.
Instantly, the partially white flames silently got engulfed by the void colour. A black spark ignited Asher's flames, which covered his body. The energy of cosmic energy started to have a blackish hue to them; the sparkles in the void colour were gone, and what remained was just a pitch-black hue.
Soon, that previously ignited spark extended into several sparks, eventually engulfing the flames that covered Asher's body. The red-eyed man stood with a distorted expression.
Astraeus, who stood still in the sky, had a shocking expression, his bottomless eyes filled with familiarity.
"Ca-" Before Astraeus could complete his words, Asher burst forward; his wings had turned black with spikes extending out of them.
Feeling the adrenaline course through him, Asher screamed in fury, bringing forward his tachi towards the unfathomable eye that stared at the world.
The red-eyed man's eyes widened before bursting forward, advancing towards Asher.
Feeling the red-eyed man's overwhelming presence advancing towards him, Asher screamed once more before increasing his speed. The eye stared at Asher silently.
"COME ON DEFEND YOURSELF." The red-eyed man screamed, his expression filled with solemness and worry.
The eye suddenly darted here and there upon the echoing of the words before staring at Asher again. This time, a burst of killing intent was spewed by it, only to be replied to by Asher's death-giving stare that had even more bloodlust in it.
Immediately, several slashes tore the space apart; feeling his skin fall apart, Asher grinned; blood had stained his face. However, Asher simply continued to move towards the behemoth.
In reply, several slashes tore the world once again, yet it still left Asher unfazed.
"I gave myself to insanity; I am the void. Master of the Void."
