Several hours had passed. Asher was running through the woods. The Blood Sun reigned the sky once again, enveloping the world in its bloody might. Dark Fissures in space severed it into a million pieces, creating an eerie atmosphere.
A solemn expression covered his face, sweat trickled down his forehead, soaking his face. Once again, the world had regained its bloody hue; the shadows of the leaves and thick crowns covered the land beneath, towered by the evergreen conical trees.
A tachi with a white blade lay in his hands, swiftly killing any abomination in his path. A white glint flashed through his eyes as he took a sharp left turn.
'This smell is somewhat familiar. I'd rather avoid that path.' Asher thought, jumping over a bunch of bushes, foregoing them in a swift motion. His eyes suddenly widened as the blood grass beneath him crunched.
'Mirrors.'
The sound of mirrors breaking echoed through the silent forest. As Asher burst forward, the ground beneath him trembled as transparent shards fell before him.
'Again?' Asher thought with a grim expression as he looked upwards.
The sky had cracked even more. The shards belonged to the...
'Sky?' Asher thought with a grim expression; the Dark fissures became much more abundant. He let out a small hmph, continuing to move forward.
Suddenly, the space before him cracked as time slowed down, his eyes widened as the ground beneath his cracked, trembling. A tremendous force crashed into him, almost making him lose his balance.
'Hold on.' Asher thought, piercing the ground beneath him with his tachi. Gripping his tachi for his dear life, he looked backward as his pupils contracted under fear.
'Holy shit.'
Asher thought as he stared at a huge black fissure. Darkness lay in it, filling its depths. Several trees plummeted under sheer force. Immediately, he inserted his fingers into the cracks beneath him as he heard his blade crack.
Suddenly, a grin appeared on Asher's face. As he stared ahead, he saw several men fall towards the black fissure. However, the grin lasted for a moment. Feeling the ache of his flesh being torn apart on his fingers.
Blood flew towards the fissure as the world felt upside down for Asher. It was as if he was holding himself from falling down a mountain.
Gritting his teeth, he immediately tried to bring that strength from the incident against the Archers. A whirlpool in the clouds appeared as the red sun shone in the middle.
In front of him, a voice echoed that confused Asher.
[You have entered the territory of the Unknown God.]
Instantly, the whirlpool started to get a purplish-black color as the world lost its bloody hue, replaced by purple-black instead. Several chains showcased themselves, appearing out of the whirlpool.
'Is this...' Asher didn't dare to continue his thought; the red sun had lost its reddish due, replaced by a...
Black hole.
Darkness engulfed the heavens and the earth, the only light source being the purplish and black whirlpool of clouds glowing in the darkness.
"Your still conscious." A voice echoed into Asher's ears, different from before. Resisting the urge to turn around in order to avoid himself from falling to his death.
'What the hell!' He thought as the blackhole let out a bolt of small purple lightning; cosmic-colored flames surrounded it, each with tiny sparkles in it like stars.
A heinous premonition dawned on Asher as blood drained from his face, his expression becoming distorted with fear.
Blood started to droop down to his face; his fingers were brutally holding on. Immediately, the chains hanging from the sky crashed onto the earth, trembling the already trembling earth beneath him.
Bits of mud and dust came to his face like a mini duststorm.
'The dust, it's entering my eyes.'
Gritting his teeth, he gripped the sword with even more force. Opened his eyes, which had gone red due to him bearing the dust inside them.
[A baptism is necessary]
[No, it isn't; he might die]
[Are you sure? Hell's oblivion still has to acknowledge him]
[Can't care]
Several voices echoed, with Asher trying to understand what they meant. However, the circumstances didn't allow him to do so.
'A baptism? This goddamn voice.' Asher thought as he cursed the voice internally.
Letting down a small gulp, he tried to climb against the gravity of the Dark Fissure. Suddenly, a bead of sweat drooped down his forehead. Falling down towards the dark fissure.
As the bead reached the fissure, several purple lightning flashed in a mere moment. Illuminating the skies momentarily.
[So he did it?]
The lightning got fiercer as Asher suddenly felt a pain in his back. A muffled scream left his throat as he resisted the urge to scream.
'My back, it's burnt!'
The chains that had fallen immediately burst forward, shrinking in size. Immediately, Asher's eyes widened, and he felt something slither in his throat.
'No..'
Chains had shackled his neck; the other chains were already bursting forward towards his hand, then his foot. His expression distorted as he immediately got dragged down.
'The tachi broke!' Asher thought as the chain dragged him down to the Dark Fissure. Realizing the severity of the situation, he pierced his fingers to the land. A trail of blood appeared as the chains slowed down.
Suddenly, the other chains appeared, bounding his hands and feet. The tachi went off his grip as Asher got dragged by the chains. His eyes became bloodied as he resisted with every fiber of his being.
Lightning tore the sky apart as Asher bit a suspended rock. The chains halted immediately as tears appeared in Asher's eyes due to pain. Blood started to flow from his teeth as he moved his hands with all of his force.
His body trembled as he gave everything he had.
[Stunned?]
The suspended rock started to crack, slowly breaking off.
"NOOO!" Asher screamed as he got thrown into the Dark Fissure as he tried to hold on to the air. A trail of tears was left behind as he entered it.
