"Do by any chance I need your permission to enter this place?" Asher said back with a grim face as he turned behind.
A man stood with blond hair and blue eyes; he wore a furnished, luxurious coat filled with several black jewels and purple marbles. His hair waved as sunlight shone on his face.
The man let out a small chuckle as he heard Asher. With a grin, he added:
"Well, I mean, looking at you, maybe it would be better if you did."
Asher smirked as he turned around towards the park; as he did so, he rolled his eyes in amusement.
"You are quite delusional to forget the past. Aren't you?" Asher said as he heard a sigh. Filled with fury for the least he cared.
"I would suggest you to think before you speak." The blond man said with a deep voice as he started to walk in the opposite direction, across the street.
Asher let out a small sigh of relief as he entered the park. The heavy fragrance immediately went away and was replaced by fresh air. The sounds of children playing entered him as his eyes strolled to the bench closest to him.
Several people walking by stared at him. Asher's frail physique and ragged clothes really did make him look out of place.
However, instantly, his eyes widened as he jumped out of his seat, bursting forward. Barely dodging a bullet by an inch.
'What the hell?' Asher thought instantly as he twisted his torso, dodging a spear, albeit barely.
His expression distorted as he moved sideways with tremendous speed. Soon, he came to a halt.
Instantly, he brought his forward behind his head, blocking a metallic arm which just tried to punch.
Asher gritted his teeth as he felt the bones in his hand break. Blood flowed from his torso as a gash had appeared there from the previous attack.
'I had dodged that!' Asher thought as he turned around. A man stood there, wearing full silverfish metallic armour.
'Shit', Asher thought as he burst backwards, creating distance.
The nearby people had crowded them, circling them to see what was happening. Asher's eyes darted here and there, trying to look for an escape.
But it was for nought as the people had completely crowded him.
A diabolical grin covered his face as Asher finally realized what was happening.
'That bastard.' Asher thought as the blond man from previously came into his mind. The silver-armoured man stared at him; two short swords lay in a sheath on his waist as he looked at Asher.
His helmet was missing, and his black hair hid his eyes beneath it.
"Is a classified warrior going to bully a child from the outer districts?" Asher said in a loud voice as he took his stance. He had learned how to fight by living in the harsh conditions in the outer districts.
In fact, it wouldn't be wrong to say he was no different from a veteran.
The man stood there emotionlessly as silence weighed them a ton; the crowd looked, their eyes gleaming in seeing the silver-armoured man.
Instantly, Asher bent his head sideways, dodging a thrust.
'So fast.' Asher thought as he instantly held the man's shoulder, one of his hands to his torso.
Asher's face became red as he tried to pin him.
"Weak." The man muttered as storm clouds appeared in the sky. Asher's pupils contracted as a bead of sweat drooped down his forehead.
Instantly, a burst of lightning tore the sky, and a vague image of a lightening dragon entered Asher's mind.
The man let out a small chuckle as he pushed Asher back with a simple move. Asher fell backwards as raindrops wet the ground beneath him.
'A graded warrior.' Asher thought as he looked at the man in front of him.
"Playtime is over." The man said in a deep voice as blue flames started to appear on him. The crowd's eyes gleamed with admiration, ignorant of the rain.
Asher gritted his teeth as he stood up, his hair covered one of his eyes.
"That bastard sent you to end me?" Asher said as his expression changed, a smirk appearing on his face.
The man looked at Asher amusingly as he stood there, nodding to him.
"Nice, nice..." Asher repeated those words as he started moving towards the man before him.
The crowd suddenly looked at Asher, who was emitting a strong dark aura. Their eyes filled with utterly disgusting disdain.
The man remained motionless until there was an inch of difference between him and Asher.
The man let out a small sigh as he placed his hands on Asher's shoulder.
"I think it would be great if you started to run. I might spare you if you leave the inner districts." The man said with a graceful voice.
Asher stared at him; the man towered over him in height. Suddenly, Asher's gaze became seriously sharp as he spoke:
"Run."
The man raised one of his eyebrows beneath his hair. Soon, Asher looked up to him with a sinister grin.
"WHY!" Asher screamed as instantly a tiny dagger appeared in his hands, stabbing the man in his neck. Blood flowed like a fountain as the man's eyes widened, shocked in disbelief.
The crowd screamed as they started to run. People hid their children's eyes with their hands, preventing them from watching the scenery as they ran.
"W- What?" The man said in a hoarse voice as he fell down lifelessly. Asher stood there, staring at the man with a grin. He had placed a dagger in his pocket just in case before coming here.
A maniacle-chuckle came out of Asher as he bent himself down until his mouth reached the man's ear.
"Go tell Carter, I don't fear him." Asher said as he stood up and turned around.
'I still have to meet my brother.'
