Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

Third Person POV

The sound of knocking on the door, Musa enters the room to find Kiran meditating with QI forming a small layer around him.

Musa, praising in a low voice, "Good, good, at this rate, it won't be a few more months before you break through again."

Then he speaks audibly, "That's enough training for now because we have finally arrived at the sect."

Kiran stops training and says while stretching, "Finally! I've been bored sitting all this time."

Musa smiles gently, "Let's go. I'll introduce you to the elders and the sect leader."

After a few minutes, Buraq descends in front of a huge palace built in the Chinese style, with colors blending between different shades of red and gold, making Buraq look small in size compared to the massive gate.

Musa steps out holding Kiran's hand, lowering him to the ground. The students present bow, and Musa nods slightly to them, then takes Kiran and walks with him into the palace.

One of the female students whispers, "Who is that child with the third elder? He looks strange but also cute."

One of the male students responds, "Could it be that the third elder has taken him as his disciple?" Student voices spread everywhere.

In the distance, a boy close to Kiran's age falls to the ground in fear, looking at Kiran's back with heavy sweating, narrow pupils, and difficulty breathing. The boy stammers in a trembling voice, "Are... you... idiots?! Calm down, calm down, calm down."

After a while, the boy mutters, "What's so cute about him? He's a walking monster among us. And what's with these statistics? All question marks and the QI amount, what's with the symbol ∞? Is there a system malfunction?"

Kiran's Overview

Kiran walks through a corridor adorned with gold that emits a white aura around it. He does not realize the value of the gold, and there are drawings of the phoenix everywhere as if they are telling a story.

Kiran, talking to himself, "How beautiful this is. It's even more beautiful than the palace on Buraq's back."

Musa, drawing Kiran's attention, "Kiran!"

Kiran, "Yes, Master."

Musa, "We will meet the sect leader. Do not forget your manners, but also remember that you are my favorite and only disciple. Be proud of yourself and do not lower your head even to the sect leader himself."

Kiran, with an innocent smile, "Okay."

Musa opens the door to find a man in his early forties with a strong body emitting a noble aura. His black hair has begun to show some white, indicating his advancing age. He sits, holding a golden brush, writing on paper with complete concentration, with the phoenix symbol behind him and the scent of incense filling the place.

Musa, "I have returned, Baran."

Baran stops painting, "Welcome back. Have you completed the mission?"

Musa, with a stiff face, "No."

Baran, confidently, "As expected of you..."

His expression changes to surprise, "Whhaaaaat? Why?!"

Musa gently pushes Kiran forward. Baran looks into Kiran's eyes, who was hiding behind Musa, and starts sweating, feeling as if he is looking into the void and feeling lost.

Musa claps his hands to wake Baran.

Baran, "This... is amazing."

Musa, with pride, "I know, right?"

Musa, with more enthusiasm, "And here's the surprise: he is now in the warrior realm."

Baran, with wonder, "That's incredible." Then he laughs and says, "I will rub this in the face of the Plum Sect leader, hahahahahaha."

Musa, "That's not all."

Baran, "Is there more?!"

Musa, "Yes, all this happened within a few months of training."

Baran, looking at the child, "What's your name, little one?"

Kiran, "I am Kiran, and I am seven years old."
