Lucia woke up the next morning, her mind foggy from the late night before. She remained in bed for a while, staring at the ceiling, thinking over everything. Memories from the previous evening resurfaced—memories of how the trio had decided, almost casually, that she somehow belonged to them. It made her stomach twist with both frustration and confusion. They acted as though her presence in their lives was an unspoken rule, one she hadn't agreed to.

Pushing those thoughts aside, she sighed deeply and rolled out of bed, stretching. After a few moments of hesitation, she went to the bathroom to freshen up. The water was cold at first, but it helped wake her up and calm her racing thoughts. She dried her face with a towel, staring at her reflection in the mirror. The dark circles under her eyes reminded her of the exhaustion from the night before, when they had all stayed up way too late at the party.
