Now realizing that the se preson who stole the pink jewel, Liam and Gwyneth finally decide to go and ask the chief officer some questions.
Heading to the chief office Gwyneth wonders if tje chief would actually answer them, looking at Gwyneth Liam asked her what the problem might be and she answers saying,
"Do you really think the chief would answer our questions?"
Liam stops to think what she's saying maybe true , because who would want to answer on a case 10 years held back. Knowing it's now or never he still goes on ahead with Gwyneth behind him and as they walk they strategies a way on making the chief officer talk. Knocking on the door the chief officer allows them in, "Morning officer Aaron" said Liam and Gwyneth.
"Morning" replied back chief officer Aaron, Liam walking closer to the desk Gwyneth handed him the case file of the resent incident. Officer Aaron looking at the file on the desk asks, "What is this about?" Looking confused.
Liam says, " Do you remember the incident that happened a few hours ago?" Aaron replied " yes I do remember " Liam continues saying," GREAT!!, then you should also know that the two people found dead was a woman and her son." Officer Aaron still confused asked what does it have to do with the fire? Liam saying he wasn't finished said that the woman had a tattoo on her arm written "DEPRESSION "
Hearing that the officer looked shocked with fear on his face, wondering to himself if it could but then in denial and Liam looking at officer Aaron asks I'd he ever knew the lady? Looking at Liam he lies saying, "No, I don't know the lady or her son."
Feeling suspicious of Liam Aaron asks why he asked that, but Liam trying to get rid of the tension just says no reason I just saw you looked shocked and I got worried. Leaving the room Liam comes to the conclusion along with Gwyneth who had been listening from outside the room decided that he was involved with the case 10 years ago and that the lady with the tattoo was also a part of it.
Now being assured they had on the the lab to gain more information on the lady and her back story. Entering the lab to gain more information on the lady they meet John who is known best for his work and had been best friends with Liam ever since they joined the officers.
John wondering why they are here asked if they need anything, Liam replied with a question asked,
"Do you have more information on the lady in the explosion?"
John replied yes showing them the file of them woman, Name: Jenny, Age:45, divorced and had one child. He continues by pointing the fact that she seemed to be involved in a case 10 years ago had gone to jail, but was released after 1 year. Not only this but there were other people involved a rich gambler known as Edward who was known for gambling and running casinos dry.
Getting this information helped them well and now need help knowing where he is. Liam asked John if he knows the location of Edward, nodding John states that he lives in a mansion in the far north of the city. Gwyneth driving the car asked what are they going to do if he refuses to answer their questions, Liam telling Gwyneth not to worry and he has a way to make him talk.
Arriving at the mansion guards standing by Liam luckily knowing one of the guards was allowed in the mansion and as they enter through the gates the walk around lost. Noticing the beautiful garden, Liam wanted to take some photos with Gwyneth in the garden. A maid seeing them take photos wanted to see what was going on , walking towards them she asks what they needed around here? Liam looking at the maid having a smirk on his face , he lies saying that he has a match or appointment with Edward. Seemingly convinced she takes them to him and allowed them to enter in the mansion were Edward lives.
Entering the mansion was a shock for the both of them fancy furniture, expensive vases everywhere and most importantly money at every corner. The maid called them telling them to sit down and asked them if they wanted tea or coffee, both asking f1or coffee to prepare for a meeting they just got notified of. Walking to the kitchen Liam notices Edward coming thier way preparing to make a conversation, but looks back at Gwyneth and pleads for her not to make problems. Feeling offended she says back in a pissed tone that she never does so , but remembers flash backs of her always shouting and says never mind. Finally being able to talk to Edward, je asked if they could gamble together? Shocked Edward asked if Liam knew who he is? Liam nodded yes , then Edward after some time decided to to agree to take on the match but they need to set some ground rules.
