Back were we left of Liam and Gwyneth had left the Cafe with a sudden explosion happening at the near by bakery and finding a dead woman and her son. Leading them to discover Edward a gambler who had been involved in the case 10 years ago.
a room Edward and Liam shaking hands as the game is about to begin, looking at Liam Edward begins to say with confidence that if he wins they should never come back here again. With a smile Liam agrees and the game.begins, the Dealer has them both put chips in forced to bet blind.
That being done the Dealer dealt their cards, looking at what his gat Edward seems to find a one pair on his deck of cards and looking at Liam starts to smirk as he see's worry on face. Now the first betting round begins, Edward starting decides to raise up by 2000 and then Liam knowing what his trying to do plays along.
Liam decides to raise again by 1,000 , that being said three cards are set on the table known as community cards and are shared by all player being Liam and Edward. With the three cards face on the table they both now have five-card poker hands with more cards still to come.
Edward looking at Liam then at Gwyneth says,
"If I win this I also get her , do you agree?"
(He said pointing at her with a smirk on his face.)
Looking clueless he agrees and Gwyneth shocked ask why would he agree to that, with a smile Liam says,
"Don't you worry just trust me okay?"
Suddenly blushing Gwyneth looks away and says she trusts him , Liam realizing what happened to Gwyneth gives a soft smile. Edward noticing what's going on gets pissed and determined to make her his , Liam knowing what's going on in his mind decides to finally end Edward.
After a few rounds then came the final round to determine the winner, Edward knowing their tied thinks bis going to end it now. Liam Liam smirking calls , Edward having good pairs but to his shock Liam had something that rarely has been seen a "ROYAL FLUSH"
Even the Dealer shocked declares Liam the winner of the game , Edward in disbelief says he cheated and that there is no way he could have won and he was supposed to win. Saying all that he rages to the fact he lost , Liam being the winner has Edward sit down and he asks questions about the case 10 years ago.
Taking the case file from Gwyneth's hands he begins to ask questions, he takes out a photo of the lady and asks if he knows her. Looking at the photo Edward quickly looks away hinting that he may know something, Liam with a strict tone tells Edward that if he doesn't answer his questions he may go to jail for not complying with their demands and he may be there for a really long time.
Afraid he spills the beans, telling them that the woman was married to one of the men involved in the crime and that he was killed 5 years ago when he tried telling the police the truth. With the new information Liam asks who killed the man and what was his name? Edward replied saying"The boss never really told us his name, anytime someone would ask the next day they would be dead.
Liam with more information still had a question on his mind he asked,
" Who was the man that died 5 years ago?" Edward answered with "Cole Johnson "
Shocked Liam said no further questions and ran of to the car Gwyneth chasing him into the car asked why he ran , he tells her that Cole Johnson was actually part of the officers who died 5 years ago people used to say he was a hero who sacrificed his life for the country.
Gwyneth now remembering mentions that he was awarded 5 times for courage and people said he was unique cause he was at all the crime seen at the right time. Liam looked at Gwyneth told her to drive to the station to look at his case file, on thier way Liam thinks to himself,
"Why would such a well-known officer be part of a big crime and also didn't anybody find it suspicious that he was always there at the right time?" Worried Gwyneth told Liam not to worry and that they will get to the station, going down a steep road Gwyneth tries to push the breaks but seems to be unable to break the car. The car going even faster about to hit a wall Liam tells to jump out of the car.
Gwyneth refusing tells Liam that the car was given to her by her late mother and this was a gift for her before she ended up in the hospital and died. Liam looking at her tells Gwyneth that her mom would be happy if she didn't die and to move on and sure her mother gave the car to her but she shouldn't worry cause she still lives in her heart.
About to hot the wall Liam opens the door and jumps out with Gwyneth, as the car hits the wall it explodes.
Arriving at the station, the chief officer asks them why do they look dirty and hurt? Liam replies that someone had cut thier car breaks and thier out to kill them.
