Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 Escape?

Life in captivity was not hard, but horrible. Each night random men would come into the cellblock to have their way with whatever girl they chose. The picking process was not kind to the girls as it seemed that everyone in the cellblock had a set price on them, which meant that some would be picked more frequently than others.

Of course there was also the chance of the girls being sold to some other master, but as it so happened the slaves here were mostly red haired girls who people in the Kingdom of Albion didn't want.

There seemed to be a great animosity between the red haired Lycans of the north and the invading peoples of the south. To Lili this was quite a surprise as the two groups of people didn't look that different from one another. The only real difference was the religious beliefs of the two groups, their culture, language, the red hair and the fact that Lycans could transform into werewolves.

To Lili this didn't seem like a big deal and she couldn't understand why they just couldn't get along. Why was there racism between these two groups of people?

Luckily the Lycans here didn't seem to hold any animosity towards her, instead it seemed like a kind of sisterhood was formed between them. When she first arrived here the girls had seemed quite depressed and quiet, but already after the first night it appeared that the girls had done a complete 180 degree turn. The girls had all of a sudden become extremely talkative and protective of her. But sadly because of the way the cells were built she couldn't see any of them except Accalia.

The cellblock wasn't big. There were only 16 cells in total and each cell had a single girl in them. So now Lili essentially had 15 new girlfriends looking out for her, which brought her great relief and made life in captivity bearable.

Even though she had sworn to herself that she would keep on fighting and hoping for a better future no matter what, she honestly didn't think that she could have kept on thinking like that if it weren't for the other girls.

But other than that Life seemed to go by in a flash. While nights were horrible, the days were luckily better. During the days they got two meals a day and their piss buckets and cells were emptied and cleaned every other day by the rat faced man who was guarded by the two big men during this process.

Other than that life seemed quite boring and dull. Lili had nothing to do as they were never let out of the cells, so all she could really do was chat with the girls and train her muscles or magic, which she had decided to keep secret for now.

During the days she did also try and look for any ways of escaping, but the only real chance that there was, was during the time when the rat man gave them their meals. She had noticed that during this time he was completely alone and he even seemed to have the cellblocks keys attached to his leather belt. Now she just needed to somehow knock him out, take the keys, free everyone here and together they could then make a run for it.

It definitely was not a great plan, but it was the best she could think of for now. Her only other plan was to try and maybe seduce the rat faced man, but the guy seemed kind of retarded and stubborn about only doing his job.

With this in mind she finally decided to make a move. It happened in the morning on her 4th day of captivity. The rat face man once more came down the hall pushing his squeaking food cart and handing out food as he kept on saying.

"Breakfast yes yes, eat eat. Eat breakfast yes, yes. Girls must, must eat, eat, breakfast so, so become curvy and soft, yes yes. Eat breakfast eat. Customer, like like, soft, womens, yes yes."

Then as he came to her cell he started to hand out her food and said.

"Eat eat, girl. You, you must must grow and satisfy customer then, yes yes."

Lili didn't care about his words as she just waited at the door for him to push the bowl of porridge inside the cell, through the small opening.

The plan was simple Lili would grab his hand when it slipped inside the cell and then she would pull him hard against the metal bars. From there she could do a small hand lock on the man and then steal his keys and finish him off.

With this in mind Lili waited for his hand and when it finally came she immediately jumped for it. The rat face man seemed to notice this but he was way too late.

Lili caught his big hand, placed her legs up against the metal bars and pulled.

The rat face man panicked and yelled.

"No, no no, no touch! Girl must not touch Ratbag! Bad girl, yes yes!"

Then he pulled started to pull his hand away from her. Lili fought back with all her strength, but her hand started to slip and she was being pulled towards the man apparently called Ratbag.

Lili gritted her teeth she did all she could, but almost immediately she realised that her strength was no match even against this thin retarded man. In great frustration Lili couldn't help, but yell.

"Fuck your strong for a retarded looking rat faced bastard! Just give me those damn keys, you fucker!"

Behind the rat bastard, Lili noticed Accalia standing up as she was almost immediately alerted by their struggle. She seemed greatly worried as she held on to her cell door and yelled to Lili.

"No, stop it Lili! The madam is going to get really mad if you hurt Ratbag! If that happens then I cannot protect you! Please stop it Lili, we can try and find another way!"

Hearing this Lili felt a bit shocked that Accalia wasn't cheering her on. She wanted to say something, but it was too late. Ratbag pulled Lilis hands along with his hand out of the cell. Lilis head was pulled hard against the cell door, causing a great deal of pain to her. But Lili didn't let go and so Ratbag took out his wooden club and brought it hard onto Lilis hands.

Lili screamed out in pain.

"Ahhhhh!"

But she didn't let go. Ratbag yelled to her in what sounded like panic as he said.

"No, no no, you let go go! Iiiiiiiiighh!

Then he lifted his club up again and then came the other hit. This hit came down a lot harder than the first.

Lili was forced to immediately let go of Ratbags hand as she felt an excruciating amount of pain come upon her hands. Her fingers were slightly bent and completely numb.

Lili's eyes widened in shock as she saw her own hands. Quickly she fell far back inside her cell as she yelled in pain.

"Ahhhhh! Holy shit, holy shit, my fucking hands are broken! Fuck!"

The pain took a moment to fully register in her head, but after it did her eye turned into a small waterfall of tears. She sat in the corner of her cell with her back turned against the worried Accalia who kept on calling out to her in worry.

But unknown to Accalia was that Lili was actually attempting to heal her hands and not just cry like a little girl in the corner. Although she did do that too.

Then as the day passed Lili was finally breath a sigh of relief as the cruel old lady or madam as some called her didn't come to punish her. Instead Lili was left alone to heal her broken hands.

Taking note of her failure Lili decided to lay low and bite her time here. The attempt had been kind of close, bit she just lacked strength and so she started to train even harder on the 5th day.

Then on the 6th day something happened in the city. She could hear massive crowds gathering on the cities main street. Music was playing, people were singing and cheering. Lili could feel the excitement in the air and then came a loud sound of a horn, followed by the beating of drums and the march of thousands of feet and hundreds of hooves.

Lili couldn't see it, but she guessed that the army was finally setting off to war. And, along with them were most likely the Kane brothers and Robin.

Not once during these past few days had she seen the Robin. Truly the boy had also abandoned her for good. To Lili this was unacceptable and if she ever saw him again she would make sure to show him a piece of her mind.

Then after some hours the marching finally ended and the city sounded like it returned back to normal. Although that night the city was a lot quieter as hardly any music was being played in the taverns. It seemed that the days of celebration had come to an quick end.

Two weeks seemed to suddenly go by. During this time she noticed that visits to the cellblock became fewer. Accalia had been completely left alone as it seemed like the rich aristocrats of the city were gone. Most like most of them had gone to war.

And so Life became a bit better, Lili and Accalia had now a lot of time together and so Accalia started to teach Lili her peoples language and history.

While Accalia though her this, Lili intern decided to start teaching her how to exercise properly in order to build up strength.

Soon more weeks went by and Lili lost track of time. The days and nights just seemed to turn into a blur In her mind as she never got to see the outside world.

Despite this, Life didn't seem so bad. For a time Lili could even call it good. Her arms were completely healed now without any scars and so too was her ear and that is where Lili decided to end it. No more than that would she dare to heal herself in order to keep it all a secret.

She did do a little work on her nose just to return her sense of smell, but in the end that seemed like quite a bad idea as now she was finally able to smell just how bad this place really was.

Sure the cleaning was every other day, but that still meant that she would need to be a midst her own sweat and shit in the bucket for far too long.

Nonetheless life was somewhat good and bearable. Until winter finally came. There was no snow, but the weather was dark, rainy and cold.

Lili just like everyone started to shiver. They were given simple blankets, but it was hardly enough. Normally Accalia could have just turned herself into a werewolf to avoid the cold, that is if it wasn't for the collars they all wore.

Unlike Lili the Lycans all wore metal collars with small spikes pointed towards their necks. So if they ever transformed, then that would essentially be just killing themselves.

From what Lili had heard from the other girls was that some of the girls here had actually died during the last few years. They wanted to warn Lili to stay warm and so they had even tried to hand her their blankets, but Lili refused.

Lili refused not just because she was worried about the girls safety, but more because she didn't need the blankets. She had quickly found out that the ever growing core of light could be also used as a heat source. It was like a secondary beating heart to her which kept on filling her with its warm light.

Finally Lili had then decided that enough was enough. She looked upon the small stone which she had used to practice with, for many times now. Taking it into her small hands she then started to pour her energy into it.

This time she didn't hide it and Accalia immediately noticeed the strong glow in her little hands. Accalia sounded like she was worried as she said.

"Oh no, Lili! What's going on? Your hands are glowing! Are you ok?"

Lili said nothing and just concentrated on her work. For a while she had played around with a concept of creating an infinite vortex of light magical energy inside the stone. Essentially she wanted to create a small self recharging source of healing light inside the stone.

And, what better moment to do so than right now when the girls most needed it. She couldn't just stand by and watch the girls freeze to death or catch a cold and die from that, no she needed to do this and so she did.

Thanks to her daily training and the fact that the stone was so small, Lili found the process to be actually quite easy. She just needed to visualise it in her mind and then she was able to make her magic do what she wanted. The process was so simple that she couldn't help but wonder what else she might be able to do with her magic if she just put her mind into it.

Holding the stone in her hands Lili could feel the vortex of energy inside of it and she noticed the gray stone slowly starting to turn into a white see through crystal. It felt so light, it hardly weighed anything and it was quite warm to the touch. Holding it in her hands she also felt it bring her a sense of ease, she couldn't quite explain it but it just felt right. Also the look of it was absolutely beautiful. The stone appeared to be a true white crystal with a small and bright yellow glow inside of it.

Seeing this Lili couldn't help but feel stunned. Had she just created a new type of crystal stone into this world. Not only was this thing beautiful, but if she was right about this, then it was capable of healing people and it also seemed to make one feel at ease, like a sort of stress reliever. The thing was not bright, but it certainly could be used as a source of light in the dark.

Immediately the thought of helping people came to mind. If this worked then she could potentially spread these stones around and like so help a lot of sick people. It would be especially good here since the medical knowledge of this world was quite lacking.

With this in mind a bright smile came upon Lilis face as she then went to her cell door and tossed the thing in front of Accalias cell as she then said.

"Take it. Think of it as a gift from me, your most loyal of daughters."

Accalia crouched down to her knees and looked at the glowing crystal with hesitation in her eyes. The thing was right in front of her cell, but she didn't take it as she instead said.

"What is it? Where did you get it from?"

Hearing this Lili just said.

"Don't worry about it mom. Just take it already it's not going to hurt you, after all it's me who made it."

Accalias seemed stunned as she looked at Lili and said.

"You, you made it?"

To this Lili just nodded her head. Accalia seemed completely lost for words as she then reached out her hand and touched it carefully.

Accalia was acting like some curious little red haired kitten as she immediately on contact pulled her hand away and then tried it again.

This time she had a bit more courage as she finally managed to take it into her hand.

From the other cells Lili could hear whispers and murmurs of the girls as one of them curiously said.

"What is it?"

Hearing this Lili realised that she really didn't know what it was or what to call it, but in that instant she then came up with something and said.

"It's a Light stone, made from my holy light. You see I Lili am not your average girl, for I am a magical girl. Hihi."

Immediately the room erupted in whispers. All the girls sounded amazed by this information, while Lili on the other hand couldn't help but feel embarrassed as she had just called herself a magical girl.

Never in her previous life would she have ever dared to do such a thing or even wanted to, but her and now it felt kind of right. The words magical girl sounded quite cute. No more could she deny it either, she just really liked cute things and so she said it and felt proud of it.

While Lili found herself lost in her own thoughts of cuteness. Accalia on the other hand was looking at Lili with proud tiers in her eyes as she held the stone in both of her hands and said.

"Ooh, I'm so proud of you Lili. From the moment I saw you, I just knew that you were special."

Hearing this Lili couldn't help but scratch her head in embarrassment as she said.

"Ooh, you're too kind. Please tell me how you feel. Can you feel your body getting warmer or what about your sore muscles? Can you feel them being healed? Please tell me."

Hearing this Accalia seemed a bit confused, but then quickly put on a smile and said.

"Oh it's wonderful Lili. It feels so smooth and nice in my hands, it even has a nice glow to it and I can feel a bit of warmth coming off of it. It's truly wonderful."

Hearing this Lili felt a bit stunned. Surely Accalia should be feeling something more than just that? She could have sworn that the stone not just a bit warm, but like really warm. Clearly she was missing something here, but what.

In frustration at this new development Lili closed her eyes and concentrated on her core of light as she searched for answers and there she felt it. She could feel the small stone of Light that was in Accalias hands and she could feel her own connection to it, but Accalia seemed like just a gray figure that was holding the stone.

Seeing this Lili immediately realised the problem. Accalia held no connection with the stone. The stone was like a big Ariel effect spell in a MMO RPG game and since Accalia was not in her party, then she was not going to get healed by it or get any benefits. Only Lili could heal a random person directly, but her passive healing stone wasn't smart enough to do this.

With this in mind Lili opened her eyes and said.

"Ok, Accalia the thing is that, that stone holds my Healing powers inside of it. I want you to use that power for your own benefit and in order for you to do that, you have to make a request to it, ok. I know it sounds hard to believe, but please Accalia just believe in me. You believe me, right?"

Accalia seemed hesitant for a second, but quickly she agreed with Lilis words as she nodded her head. After which she went into a kneeling position and closed her eyes. Her hand were together and close to her chest almost as if she were praying right now.

Seeing this Lili felt confused. Was Accalia actually praying to her? That's not what she meant by her words. She wanted to quickly correct this misunderstanding, but then she noticed the stone suddenly start to glow brighter.

Lili could feel the energy from it being drained out and she immediately could notice a change taking place in Accalia. Suddenly her skin, which was full of small wounds and scratch marks started to clear up. Her expression seemed to turn calmer and softer. Accalia seemed to be at peace as she quietly sat there in prayer.

Curious of what was going on Lili closed her eyes once more and noticed that the once gray Accalia seemed to be a bright green colour in her magic vision.

Then as she opened her eyes she saw a look of complete astonishment upon Accalias face as she looked to her and said.

"Are you a god?"
