As Stacey's consciousness began to fade like embers dying out in the darkness, the paintings and furniture of Adelaide's house fizzled away. She felt herself being pulled into the abyss, unable to resist the familiar tug of Azrael's presence. The world around her grew hazy, and she was transported to the frozen quay - the same desolate landscape where Azrael choose as their meeting point.
The blizzard raged on, its icy grip suffocating. Stacey hissed as she rubbed her arms, hoping to create some heat. She was never going to get used to this… and it seemed Azrael was not done with her.
