Chapter 87: Have A Meal Together!
-----
Asgard's Destroyer Armor is renowned throughout the Nine Realms, a treasure everyone covets, yet Lorien easily acquires it.
Lorien examined the Destroyer Armor, which had now shrunk to a figurine size in his hand.
With a thought, the armor transformed into a female model.
Another thought, and the armor morphed again, now featuring curves similar to the armor worn by the female Angels of the Angel civilization in the Super Seminary. The silver and gold combination looked far better than the original silver and black.
After the transformation, Lorien prepared to stow the armor away.
But at that moment—
*Snap!*
Hela grabbed Lorien's other hand with both of hers, gazing at him eagerly. Her eyes darted between the armor and Lorien.
Honestly, Lorien thought she looked like those greedy golden retrievers on the Internet, madly staring at their owners for food, silently begging with their eyes.
"Do you want it?" Lorien asked.
"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!" Hela nodded frantically.
This was the Destroyer Armor, after all! Even her father could use it to contend directly with gods of a similar level! This was no ordinary artifact!
Those who had witnessed Hela being pursued by the armor until now were dumbfounded. And yet, Lorien had obtained it with just a quick move?
What was going on?
At that moment, Hela realized Lorien's strength was likely on par with, if not greater than, her father Odin's.
But this wasn't about fawning over him, right?
No, no, no, no, no!
Faced with Hela's longing gaze—
"No," Lorien said, shaking his hand to store the armor in his system.
As the wise often say, "Money is for women to see, not for them to spend."
So, would Lorien give something to Hela?
No, absolutely not.
But seeing the armor vanish into the system, Hela panicked.
"The armor! Lorien, this is something that could really help me! Please, I'm begging you!"
Hela didn't even realize she'd used a coquettish tone. She hadn't felt like this in thousands of years!
In front of Lorien, it just seemed... right.
But Lorien shook off Hela's hands and replied, "Don't even think about it. I didn't give it to Wanda or Gwen, so why should I give it to you? Do you think you deserve it?"
Hela's face froze. He had a point. Even if there were two sets of Destroyer Armor, it wouldn't necessarily be her turn to get one.
This...
Hela pondered for a moment, then emulated Wanda and Gwen by hugging Lorien's arm, suggesting, "Then if I'm like them, can I have a turn? Maybe Wanda wears it for a month, Gwen for another, and then I get to wear it for a month? How about that?"
Lorien was speechless. Did she think this was shared armor? Three women rotating through one suit?
That would be utterly humiliating!
"You're dreaming. Go play by yourself," Lorien said, grabbing Hela's hand.
But Hela clung to his arm again, despairing. "My divine power is declining! And I can't recover it now! If this continues, I'll definitely end up looking like a loli! But the most important thing is, if Odin discovers my current state, he'll come down and kill me directly!"
Odin was less benevolent than people believed. He would kill his own daughter if it meant Thor could take the throne. It would be a small price to pay for Odin if he lost a daughter. And if that daughter tried to take the throne, her fate would be sealed even more!
Lorien considered this as well. Not that Hela deserved to die, but if Odin found out about her current state, he really would descend with a lightning fork to kill her!
Thinking it over...
Lorien looked at Hela and smiled.
"Hela, you don't want Odin to know your current state of divine power, do you?"
Hela: "Huh?"
An hour later, on the streets of New York, Lorien strolled with one hand holding a milk tea and the other in his pocket, accompanied by a green-haired loli. He looked quite cool.
Meanwhile, the girl beside him was crying as she walked.
"Woo woo woo~~~"
"You're such a bad guy!"
"Lorien, I hate you~!"
Hearing her sobs, Lorien didn't care. They had made a "deal." He wouldn't tell Odin about Hela's condition and even used Phoenix Force to conceal her. But in return, Hela had to remain in her loli form! As long as she accepted protection from Lorien, she would stay a loli forever!
However, Lorien noticed that after Hela became a loli, her IQ didn't drop, but her EQ and personality certainly changed! The old Hela had been bloodthirsty, but now she was more like Annie from *League of Legends.*
"If you bother me again, I'll beat you up!"
There was another change too. Hela's hair had become much brighter. Her original dark green hair was now a pale green. Did this color change with age?
Lorien turned to check Hela's figure again.
Hmm.
In her loli state, she was under 1.5 meters tall. She had a petite frame, but a pair of prominent features up front. Her legs were slender but straight, and though her face was youthful, it carried an air of wisdom.
How to evaluate this?
Lorien's XP bar was about to max out.
"Why?" Hela noticed Lorien looking at her and, puffing her chest, she said fiercely, "You're such a bad guy!"
"I thought you'd help me. But instead, you used the information I gave you to threaten me! You're ungrateful!"
"Hoo hoo ~!"
Seeing Hela's angry expression, Lorien almost laughed. She was amusing in this form.
He reached out to rub her head.
"Don't accuse me unjustly. When were you ever kind to me? And don't forget, the Destroyer Armor nearly killed you, and I saved you. So technically, you're just repaying a debt. And I've mercifully agreed to protect you. You should be thanking me, little Hela."
Want to argue logic with me? You're still young, little Hela.
A smile crept onto Lorien's face. Little Hela was too much fun.
Wanda = queen, Gwen = girl-next-door, Hela = loli.
Woohoo~!
He had the full set!
Time to play cards!
When he had the chance, he'd gather them all together. The next night would be a thrilling game of Flight Chess!
"Hmph~! I hate you!" Hela, unable to out-argue Lorien, could only turn her back and lick the ice cream he had bought her.
But she knew deep down that this was the best situation for her. If Lorien didn't help her, she would soon be doomed. But staying under his protection, she wouldn't be.
Sure, her divine power might take ages to recover, but at least she wouldn't die.
And with that, Lorien began his shopping trip with the little green-haired Hela. He took her around as if she were a child, and they chatted about many things along the way.
"Wanda said you went to Germany with them. What happened after that?"
"I was hunted down by the Destroyer Armor as soon as I got to Germany! After fighting it for a long time, you guys had already left! Then I was chased by the armor all the way from Germany to New York!"
"Well, that's tough luck for you."
