[The Next Day]
Awakening from his slumber Augustus got up, cleaned himself well and selected a relatively simple outfit along with a new royal cloak since the previous one was not exactly clean.
Stepping out of his room he looked at the guard who had changed and asked him to take him to the Throne room.
After a little bit of walking through relatively empty hallways, Augustus arrived infront of the door to the throne room.
He looked at the guard standing besides the door and asked him to bring Godfrey and Rod to the throne room.
Stepping inside Augustus made his way towards the throne and sat on it as he waited for them to arrive.
Sitting there he suddenly felt his stomach rumbling and wished to eat some food but decided against it for some reason.
Sitting on the throne Augustus decided to test whether he to had received Godfrey's regeneration so he stood up and reached the door which opened for him
"Can I borrow your Swords?" Augustus asked staring at the guard who had just opened the door.
"Yes your majesty" the guard responded with a bit of a confused expression.
The guard grabbed the hilt of the sword at his waist and pulled it out.
A metallic sword that looked very sharp was pulled out and handed over to Agusgustus very respectfully.
Taking the sword Augustus looked at it for a few seconds observing the sharpness of it before looking at the guard.
"Why don't you use guns?" Augustus asked slightly confused since in the anime, the Marines did use guns
Perhaps the technology was not available in this Kingdom and Navy secret, Augustus thought to himself.
"Your Majesty, The Military I have no clue, I apologise" The guard bowed his head and said.
"It's fine" Augustus responded, "it's not your fault," Augustus said as he felt bad
'How would the guards know everything about this kingdom' Augustus thought ridiculing himself as he went inside the throne room again and the door behind him shut.
Standing there Augsutus took a slow breath as he extended his arm out and raised his other hand holding the sword.
Another thing Augustus noticed was how light the metal sword that had a decent length felt in his hands.
Augustus took a sharp breath in and swung the sword down on his arm with full force
The sword cut through the air inching close to Augsutus's hands by the second.
At the last moment, however, Augustus stopped the sword from actually hitting his arm.
The knife inches away from his skin slowly descended and made contact with his skin.
Augustus gritted his teeth and pushed the knife inside slightly yet the knife failed to break through his skin so he put more force until finally his skin was cut a little and a few streaks of blood oozed out.
Lifting the word away, Augustus looked at the cut on his arm for a few seconds and to his relief the wound healed up
'This confirms it, Godfrey has his regeneration still' Augsutsu thought as he walked towards the door which opened, he handed the sword which he had wiped clean to the guard and went back inside to the throne and waited.
He didn't have to wait for long, however, as They had finally arrived.
The door opened and Godfrey stepped in, His axe in hand and cloak fluttering, the ethereal lion on his shoulder whose eyes were filled with fierceness.
Behind followed Rod who wore a loose red robe with the insignia of the kingdom on it.
"Are you ready to set off?" Augustus asked as they stepped closer towards the throne.
When they came close enough they knelt and confirmed that they both were ready to set off.
'It's about time' Augustus thought to himself.
"Then set off and conquer the Vanhiem Kingdom, General Rod, A important objective is to gain food from them not so much that our future citizens starve but enough to provide food to our current citizens"
"If they do not wish to join our Kingdom, then we can only say farewell to them and let them go" Augustus said.
"Yes Your Majesty" Rod responded.
"Very well, then go ahead" Augustus said, his tone filled with confidence about his victory, "Win me this Victory Godfrey!" Augustus said.
"Yes Our Majesty" Godfrey said as he stood up.
Augustus nodded and waved them to leave.
Godfrey and Rod nodded and left the throne room.
'Godfrey was a commander before this leading the Crucible Knights who were both loyal and strong, after this war it will be time to let Godfrey take control of the Army on land'
'It will be a period of development that will allow Godfrey to learn Armament haki and Observation haki which will be needed when the World Government takes action'
'The level of the Territory Controlled should also improve after taking over Vanhiem kingdom which will give me enough points to summon two characters from the level 2 chest which can provide me with somebody competent enough to upgrade the other sectors such as Healthcare and Public Sevice by one level'
