Chapter 47 - Chapter 47:“There’s more to learn”

For the very first time since she moved into the mansion as his bride, she visited his room. What Kelvin just relayed to her really bothered her—more like a confusion. Lily was curious to know Nicholas' motive. He didn't seem to like his father although he had made it clear that he would continue to side his family. Lily wanted to know the man she married, the man who had kept her awake many nights, thinking of his likes and dislikes, how she could please him, what would make him look at her. Yes, Nicholas was starting to grow on her. Old Bloom had warned of any form of affection which could cease the visions, a warning that's already hanging by the strip of a rope, a warning that seems more impossible with every moment she spent with him wether it be good or bad. Those visions were one of the major reasons she had not given in to her growing emotions.
