Chapter 32: The Staircase encounter.
"The governor's what?!" Floria screamed, wide eyed.
"Easy Floria" Anna tried to calm her down. "Why are you so surprised?"
Floria perused her mind, searching for answers to that question. Why was she surprised actually? Priscilla is the daughter of a big politician in Vancouver and her mom is renowned lawyer, known quite well in the state. Vera's mom runs the biggest restaurant in this part of Vancouver. Anna's father is a big conglomerate. Hilly View is just the home of the one percent of the one percent.
"Have you met him before?" Vera asked Priscilla.
"Of course i have" she answered. "We didn't talk well. His ego as Floria just said, precedes him even though he had just returned from a kidnap that period"
"Oh, I heard about it" Floria finally snapped out of the shock.
The four girls opened the cotton and watched as his servants got his things upstairs for him.
