Chapter 50 - 50. Sailing With The Wind And The Water!

New week, old goals- 200 ps for 1 chapter

As the shipbuilding sanctuary of the Grand Line, where the legendary Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, had his ships built, the reputation of Water 7 is immense. Getting an Eternal Pose to Water 7 is not difficult at all.

After spending two days on Jaya Island to replenish supplies, the three set sail on a sunny morning with perfect weather.

Now aboard the small sailboat—

Rob, shirtless, held the rudder, steering the ship, while at the bow, Uta practiced her singing under Robin's guidance.

After eating the Sing-Sing Fruit, Uta revealed her dream to Rob. Unlike her previous ambition to create a new era in the New World, she now aspired to become "the world's number one songstress," much like Rob's goal of becoming "the world's number one swordsman."

Rob wasn't surprised by Uta's change in dreams. Different environments lead to different ambitions and pursuits. Now, influenced by Rob, Uta's personality and goals had shifted.

It's understandable—

In the original timeline, Uta would have been raised by the Red-Haired Pirates, and under the influence of Shanks, who was fixated on his identity and goals, she naturally sought to pursue a new era.

But with Rob and Robin, it was different. They weren't pirates and had always raised Uta with love, without imposing any specific ideas on her.

In Rob and Robin's eyes—

Uta just needs to be happy and grow up joyfully. Dreams and goals can be pursued when she grows up.

Of course.

Rob and Robin would support Uta in her current aspiration to become "the world's number one diva." They encouraged her, as long as it made her happy.

Even if Uta suddenly decided tomorrow that being a singer was too tiring and she didn't want to pursue it anymore, Rob and Robin would have no objections.

Rob might be more laid-back about it.

But Robin was genuinely doing her best as an older sister, often acting like a little mother, caring for everything about Uta.

This is probably—

Because Robin, having experienced hardship, wanted to shield Uta from it.

Looking at the two at the bow, Rob felt a warm, knowing smile spread across his face.

"That's good."

Silently pondering, Rob's mood was as relaxed and joyful as ever.

"Although I'm a time traveler, and still active... my pursuits are simple! I want to bring the people I cherish, live freely on the sea, and chase some achievable goals!"

Ruling the world? Saving all the people? Having three thousand beauties in a harem?

Except for considering the harem part humorously, Rob had no obsession with grand goals like ruling the world or saving everyone. In a challenging world, living freely and happily was enough for him.

...

Quickly, a month and a half passed.

At the docks of Water 7, Rob and Robin docked their small sailboat.

The journey from Jaya Island to Water 7 had taken them through several small islands, some inhabited, some dangerous and uninhabited.

On one of these uninhabited islands, Rob heard the unique voice of a Poneglyph and successfully located it.

Perhaps due to his fourth talent—Destiny—whenever their supplies were low, a pirate group would appear, providing them with treasure and provisions.

After a month and a half of sailing, they hadn't spent a single berry, yet their wealth had accumulated to around 400 million berries. Their journey was smooth, untouched by the Grand Line's erratic weather, and they even found a Poneglyph.

Overall—

Compared to his previous journeys on the Grand Line, the voyage after acquiring the fourth talent was incredibly smooth.

This feeling—

Was wonderful.

Back to the present.

After disembarking, Rob put Uta on his shoulder, holding the now eleven-year-old Robin's hand, and headed straight into Water 7.

Although Robin was eleven and well-trained, Rob still held her hand tightly to keep her close. Robin didn't mind this; she knew Rob's worry came from a place of genuine concern for her safety.

Robin enjoyed this instinctive protection.

She didn't reject it; she had no rebellious streak. Instead, she was obedient to all of Rob's conscious and unconscious decisions.

Before long, they explored Water 7, enjoying its food and unique culture. Rob then asked the locals about the whereabouts of the legendary shipbuilder, Tom the Fishman.

Rob found a friendly local who pointed him toward Dock One, where Tom was known to work. Rob thanked him and headed in that direction with Robin and Uta.
