Atop the towering peak of the mountain, Red stood firm, narrowing its eyes against the howling sandstorm. Blaze Regret touched down on the ground, his expression grave as he peered downwards. The fierce storm below made it nearly impossible to discern any details of the landscape.
As time slipped by, the rock fragment in Blaze Regret's hand remained unresponsive. It wasn't until dusk descended, and the first star appeared in the sky, that the fragment began to vibrate with a low hum.
With a swift motion, the rock fragment, about the size of a palm, hovered before Blaze Regret, moving up and down. The mysterious runes on it began to flow more rapidly, and in an instant, the entire fragment became transparent.
Through the glass like fragment, Blaze Regret gazed into the valley. In that moment, his body froze in place, overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of what he saw.
