"Young brother, don't make a sound." A heavy voice came from behind, carrying a strong sense of threat into Blaze Regret's ears.
Quickly nodding,Blaze Regret, looking innocent, was forcibly dragged by the big man behind him. In fact, at the moment he left the shop, he had already sensed someone tracking him. He had considered slipping away using the Flames step technique, but eventually decided to give up.
The explosive power of a Spirit warrior far exceeds that of a Spirit novice, making it impossible to escape without creating distance first.
"Brother, what do you want?" Blaze Regret, in the alley, looked at the tall man in front of him with a sullen face.
"Tell me honestly, where did those bottles of elixir of yours come from?" The big man leaned in front of Blaze Regret, a ferocious expression on his face, tinged with a hint of savagery.
"Hey, I already told you, I obtained them by chance, I only have six bottles in total. Such precious things, you think they are commonplace goods? Whatever quantity you want." Blaze Regret spread his hands, realizing that this guy had come for the Azure Spirit Elixir.
The big man showed a look of disappointment, then his voice turned even more fierce: "Hand over all the gold coins on you, otherwise, today you will become a pile of bones in this alley!"
"Big brother, it takes at least several decades to turn into a dry bones. You don't even have this common sense," Blaze Regret sighed, looking like he was giving advice, which appeared very irritating to the big man.
"Showing no face even when given a face!"
The big man's expression changed suddenly, clenching his fist, surging with faint spiritual power, fiercely striking towards Blaze Regret's face. Obviously, the latter had successfully provoked his anger.
Even without summoning a spirit beast, a spirit master warrior's strike is enough to blast a spirit master novive's head.
"Hey, I advise you not to act, or it's hard to say who will be lying here today." Blaze Regret pointed upwards, sounding somewhat helpless.
"I advise you to mind your own business!" The big man remained unfazed, focused on eliminating Blaze Regret to claim the 800 gold coins from the trade deal entirely.
"Listen to him, it's best for you."
In the instant before the fist touched Blaze Regret's nose, a slightly sinister voice came from above, causing his expression to change abruptly.
"Who's there!"
Raising his head, the big man's pupils suddenly constricted, as he saw dozens of indifferent-looking youths standing on the high wall, each with a thunder eagle perched on their shoulders. An emblem with the same design hung on their chests, bearing words like burning flames.
Blaze!
This emblem, familiar to all spirit masters in Veloria City, is the unique emblem of the Blaze family.
"Big brother, I didn't know we couldn't kill here. How about I take him outside?" Cold sweat formed on the big man's forehead.
Every member of the Blaze family coming will have at least the strength of a Spirit warrior, and only Spirit Masters worrior are qualified to guard the ancient Veloria City. Those with lower strength can only stay in remote places like the mountains.
On the city wall, the young man in charge stuffs a piece of dried meat into the mouth of the Thunder Eagle without even looking at the big man. The Thunder Eagle on his shoulder has eyes as sharp as a sword.
"Brother, this kid has 800 gold coins in his bag. After we kill him, all these coins will be yours, I guarantee no one else will know!" The big man felt even more anxious and just wanted to leave quickly.
Everyone knows that among the four major families, the Blaze family is the most ruthless, especially these guards. When it comes to killing, they show no mercy at all.
Therefore, within the jurisdiction of the Blaze family, either don't cause trouble, or if you do, leave the city quickly!
"You say he has 800 gold coins?" The young man in charge finally showed some interest in his eyes, and glanced subtly at Blaze Regret from the corner of his eye.
"I saw it with my own eyes. This kid doesn't know what kind of luck he had. After finding a few precious potions and selling them, he ended up with 800 gold coins!" Talking about it, the big man felt a pang of regret; a windfall slipped away just like that.
But as long as he could escape, what did it matter if Blaze Regret lived or died?
That's why he tried to tempt the young man, hoping to arouse their greed so that he could escape while they were busy killing Blaze Regret.
"Such good fortune?" The young man looked at Blaze Regret sideways, his eyes showing some disbelief.
"If there's nothing else, I'll leave first." The big man leaned against the wall, quietly adjusting his position, his gaze towards Blaze Regret like looking at a dead man, with a hint of gloating deep in his eyes.
"Don't talk about all this nonsense. Get on with your business."
With an angry shout, Blaze Regret waved at Red sticking out its tongue on the high wall. Upon noticing someone tailing them, he had Red go inform the Blaze family's guard team.
Fortunately, the arrival was relatively timely.
"Let me formally introduce myself. My surname is Blaze, and my name is Blaze Regret." Blaze Regret smiled as he shrugged at the suddenly stunned giant of a man.
"You... You are..." The giant man's vision went dark for a moment. He only knew the names of some of the untouchable figures in Veloria City and had no idea what they looked like! Little did he know that kidnapping just anyone could be quite deadly.
"What, don't want my gold coins?" Blaze Regret smiled.
"I was blind not to see Mount Tai, it was a misunderstanding, all a misunderstanding!" The big man wiped the sweat on his forehead, his voice trembling slightly with fear.
"If all were misunderstandings, there wouldn't be so many deaths in Veloria City every year." Blaze Regret smirked, then changed his tone, saying, "Two choices, one thousand gold coins or leave your life spirit beast behind. Which one do you choose?"
