Chapter 5: Set Off and Face Ultron

Marlee looked around. The Avengers Tower was enormous. Tony Stark's wealth was truly astounding. Such a huge building could be changed at any time. If it had been in his previous life, he probably wouldn't have been able to afford even a few floors in ten lifetimes with just one salary.

Marlee slowly walked around the building, amazed at its hugeness, which couldn't be fully appreciated in the movies.

His eyes darted around, and even though he had some of Jarvis's data in his mind, including the topographical map of Avengers Tower, nothing was more shocking than seeing it with his own eyes.

"Hey, stop!"

While Marlee was taking a relaxing walk, a clear and alert female voice came. As a die-hard Marvel fan, Marlee knew who was coming without looking back.

Marlee turned around and saw a serious-looking Wanda standing at the corner of the corridor. This girl in red leather clothes with a hot figure would become Vision's wife in the future, but now she didn't have a good attitude towards this robot.

"I was looking for you just now. Where have you been?" Wanda looked at Marlee nervously. After all, his appearance was different from that of a normal human being. Moreover, he was a body created by Ultron, and he also had a part of Ultron's existence.

Wanda had seen the scene of a nuclear bomb destroying the world in his mind before, and she was the only person who saw this scene.

She looked at Marlee warily, "I couldn't feel your presence just now. Where have you been?"

"Going for a ride," Marlee chuckled, "I'm still very curious about the world, and the Internet..."

Seeing Wanda's serious expression for a moment, Marlee couldn't help but have some mischievous thoughts and wanted to tease her.

"I saw the same scene as Ultron. The fights between people, endless wars, intrigues between countries, and all kinds of dehumanizing behaviors really made me agree with Ultron's ideas."

Marlee explained this fact expressionlessly. In reality, he did not browse the Internet in this world, but these things were not made up by him.

These things happened more often in his past life. No matter which country it was, it was the same. The light above the head became more dazzling, and the shadow under the feet became darker.

Marlee walked towards Wanda's position. In the dim night sky and corridor, his red and green form had a gloomy face at the moment. He walked towards Wanda silently, frightening the twenty-year-old girl. As she retreated, her unskilled superpower gradually began to leak out, and she could lose control at any time.

Marlee finally approached Wanda, and their bodies were almost close to each other. The red-green face looked down at the slightly petite girl.

Lowering his head, Marlee could clearly see the beauty of the girl in the low-cut dress. She was big...ahem...

Marlee rubbed his nose, wiped away the non-existent nosebleed, and quietly tilted his head, trying not to look.

"What I said just now was a joke. Ultron does not respect life and has no basic respect for the world. I am different from him." Marlee tapped the yellow gem on his forehead. "It tells me what to do. So you don't have to be afraid, I won't hurt humans."

"On the premise that they don't hurt me." Marlee said this silently in his heart.

"I hope so," Wanda still had doubts in her eyes. She turned around to avoid Marlee's body and walked outside.

Marlee looked at Wanda's figure getting further and further away, and couldn't help but smile slightly at the corner of his mouth.

"What a dishonest woman."

...

Several people met in the Quinjet.

Steve found a place to rest, "I'm free all day tomorrow."

"I'll deal with the big one first. The one waiting for Ultron is me, Iron Man," Tony said.

"Yes, you are a thorn in its side." Marlee passed by behind the two of them and interrupted.

"Ultron knows we're going and a big war is inevitable, we all know that, but the residents of Sokovia don't know, so we have to move them first."

Steve said firmly.

Soon, a group of Avengers arrived in Sokovia.

Quicksilver Pietro was the first to get off the plane, and used his super speed to quickly run to the Sokovia Police Station, shouting loudly for the police to stop the evacuation, but no one took him seriously and thought he was some mischievous super-powered being joking and minding his own business.

Pietro returned to the police station in an instant, picked up the assault rifle in his hand and fired it on the roof for a while before attracting everyone's attention.

Wanda stood on the street, her hands glowing with a dark red sticky light, but it felt more like some kind of mist to Marlee. She controlled the sanity of some people and freed them from various things. A large group of people were swaying on the street in an orderly manner, giving Marlee a sense of the zombie universe.

"The simple use of chaos magic is so powerful." Marlee looked at the people who were easily manipulated by Wanda, and was also secretly frightened. She was indeed the woman who had destroyed the Illuminati in front of the corpses of Kamar-Taj.

With her increased strength, even the Ancient One may not be able to suppress her in a head-on confrontation after obtaining the Darkhold.

"I hope she won't follow the same path as the original." Marlee sighed silently in his heart, and then looked at Wanda's brother, Quicksilver Pietro.

According to the development of the plot, this character should have died in this battle, but...

Marlee stared at this big boy who was not yet twenty years old. He ran frantically and called every Sokovia resident to send the elderly and children with limited mobility to a safe place. He continued to move even though he was breathing heavily.

Marlee couldn't bear it. He really couldn't see a living life disappearing in his eyes, but...

Marlee hesitated. If he didn't know Pietro's story, he would have saved him decisively. But who knows whether Pietro's death is an absolute time event in this universe, and whether the error he caused will cause the universe to collapse. He cannot bear the consequences.

On the other side, Dr. Banner has also successfully rescued Natasha. Barton and Steve are maintaining order on the streets. As for Tony...

"The person you are looking for is at the church. I think he is waiting for you too."

Friday's callous voice sounded in Tony's helmet, and as a large cloud of smoke was aroused, Iron Man landed in the church.

"Are you here to confess?" Ultron's weird electronic sound sounded next to Tony.

Its huge body appeared behind Tony. The body that was originally full of metallic luster looked extremely dim at the moment. It was obvious that it was not in a good mood.

Tony was still mumbling, "With all due respect, your body looks a little... swollen?"

"You delay to protect civilians," Ultron's electronic voice interrupted Tony, and then a metal product suddenly emerged from the church's ground.

"There is remaining vibranium alloy, and its use is unknown." Friday's more indifferent electronic voice sounded, analyzing the use of this item.

"This is what happens to you, Tony."

As soon as Ultron finished speaking, a large number of roads on the street were broken, and robots emerged from under the road one after another. Some of them flew in the air, some climbed on high walls, and some sprinted on the ground. Small missiles in their bodies were constantly pouring out to the outside world.

In a matter of seconds, the streets of Sokovia were filled with flames, and countless civilians died tragically.

"Quick!" Steve shouted at the residents, raised the shield in his hand, and charged towards the robots.

Barton also took aim at the bow and arrow in his hand, one arrow for each robot, and Wanda also took this opportunity to cover the evacuation of the residents.

"Ultron!" Marlee was floating in the air, looking at the metal man on the ground from a high position.

Ultron raised his head and saw a familiar yet unfamiliar body. Its expression was neither sad nor happy, and it slowly floated up to the sky. "My vision, they really took over everything in me."

"Don't be so disgusting, I am not the property of any of you," Marlee refuted Ultron's words unceremoniously, "Your existence scares me, so... please die as soon as possible."

Before Ultron could take action first, Marlee's attack had already landed on Ultron, and the laser emitted from his forehead forced him back several meters.

Marlee took advantage of the victory and pursued it, pinching Ultron's brain with both hands, trying to take this opportunity to clear out all its data, but it was Ultron after all, and its supercomputer-like brain controlled his limbs and resisted Marlee's movements, not giving him a chance to continue at all.

"Uh!" The two of them were entangled in the air, throwing each other against the wall and the ground.

Sure, here is the revised version of the chapter with the specified changes applied:

---

6 Careless Marlee

The Avengers dispersed to clear out the troops, and Quicksilver arrived on the street first. Looking at the raging robot army around him, Pietro twisted his neck and reached full speed in an instant. The people around him only saw a blue-white phantom on the street with their naked eyes. After passing through it, the robots were lying on the ground in pieces, without a complete body.

On the other side, Marlee was still working hard to remove Ultron from the network, but he knew that the possibility of doing so was actually not great. Still, he had to try; if he succeeded, there would be no floating city in the future.

"Boom!"

Marlee was inadvertently distracted by Ultron, who took this opportunity to hit Marlee on the forehead with a headbutt. The two heads, harder than iron, instantly made a sound of metal clashing.

Marlee was knocked away by this blow, his hands released from Ultron's head, and his whole body was suspended in mid-air.

Ultron covered his big metal head. It was expressionless, but it could be seen that it was very angry, very angry.

"Do you think this will make me care?"

Ultron roared loudly and flew towards Marlee. It grabbed Marlee's neck. Fortunately, he was prepared. His body instantly became insubstantial, and Ultron passed through Marlee's body unprepared.

"You took over my body!"

Ultron roared angrily, the madness in his eyes almost engulfing him.

"You deserve it!" Marlee mocked Ultron mercilessly. The Mind Stone on his forehead flashed, and then he shot a dazzling yellow laser straight at Ultron, smashing it into the stone wall.

"Your conspiracy ends here."

Marlee was suspended in mid-air, looking down at the fallen Ultron. "You can't destroy our world, just like you can't take away my body."

"But it can,"

Ultron lay on the ground and said with a sinister look on his face.

Marlee paused for a moment, then realized what Ultron was talking about, and quickly turned back to check the vibranium alloy device.

He saw a robot soldier quietly approaching the machine device. Marlee had been fighting with Ultron all the time, and he didn't even notice how the robot soldier came here.

"No!"

Marlee knew what was going to happen next, and he shouted in horror. The laser on his forehead instantly cut the machine soldier in half.

But it was still a step too late.

The robot soldier pressed the device before he died, and suddenly faint blue light emerged from the ground where Thor was, shocking him so much that he couldn't help but stop and check.

The crowd on the ground suddenly found that the road under their feet was cracking, and the cracks were getting bigger and bigger. The ground was divided into two areas almost in the blink of an eye. When people saw this scene, they screamed in panic and ran away, even leaving their shoes behind.

A scene that shocked everyone appeared.

The city beneath people's feet, Sokovia, was slowly rising into the sky, like a rocket launch on TV, lifting the entire city and the people in the city who had not yet evacuated into the sky.

"Fuck!"

Marlee flew into the air and watched this scene in amazement. Countless gravels fell down, causing those who were on the edge of fragmentation to be hit by the gravels and bricks and collapse to the ground. Some people fell directly into the cracks and died... There was such a miserable look everywhere that Marlee couldn't bear to look at it.

At this moment, Ultron got rid of Marlee's entanglement and flew directly above Sokovia, admiring this beautiful drama with an intoxicated expression.

"Did you see it? What a beautiful scene. It was destined to happen. If you rise, you must fall."

"You Avengers are my extremely sharp sword. As you fall, the Earth will break apart."

"Erase me from the computer and use my body to fight me. It's meaningless. When the dust settles, the only thing left in this world..."

"will be metal!"

In the distance, Dr. Banner escaped from the prison with Natasha. The two kissed passionately in this apocalyptic scene.

As the kiss deepened, Natasha pushed Dr. Banner down the pit and looked rationally into the bottomless darkness.

"We need another guy to get the job done."

Then a big green guy jumped to the ground and looked at Natasha with a suggestive smirk.

...

Wearing a red and gold steel suit, Tony flew away from Sokovia, scanning the floating city to see if there was any way to sink it back, just like a jigsaw puzzle, putting it back together on the Earth.

"The core of the device has a strong magnetic force. The magnetic field brings the rocks together. Once it falls, countless people will die! If it rises to a certain height, the entire Earth will be destroyed!"

Friday's emotionless voice sounded in Tony's helmet, and he looked at Sokovia rising to sky with a serious expression.

Tony couldn't control so much. Since there was no way to push Sokovia back now, let's save people first.

At this moment, all the Avengers were hurriedly evacuating the crowd and rescuing residents trapped in various places. During this period, they had to be attacked by robots and inevitably suffer some pain.

"Damn Ultron!"

Marlee flew close to a building and brought out the residents trapped inside. In a blink of an eye, the building collapsed in front of him, and he didn't know how many lives were buried under the rubble.

This scene made him dizzy. He had never hated himself so much. He had almost stopped Ultron's plan. He had extraordinary abilities but could not save everyone. He looked helplessly at the tragic scenes emerging in front of him, standing there blankly.

"Vision? Vision!"

The anxious voice in his ears woke him up from his sluggish state.

"I would be happy if you could wake up from your robot dreamland!"

Tony's voice rang in his ears, and Tony was currently talking about the residents trapped in the building.

"I failed, I failed to stop Ultron..."

Marlee said, annoyed.

"Don't live in the past." Tony put the family in a safe place intact and glanced in Marlee's direction. "Be a realist and move the residents to a safe place quickly instead of standing still. Just like the old man fishing in one place, the sunset will not stop setting because of you."

Marlee was awakened by Tony's words.

Yes, since what happened cannot be undone, try to minimize the damage it caused.

"Thank you, Stark."

Marlee flew into the air, shuttling between buildings, searching for residents buried in the ruins. At the same time, the Mind Stone on his forehead was constantly firing lasers, cutting and smashing the Ultron robots he saw.

Chapter 7: Wanda's First Awakening

The entire city had been raised a hundred meters, and the blue device underneath was now extremely conspicuous. Those residents who were lucky enough to escape to the ground could only watch all this happen, silently praying for their relatives and friends to be safe and sound.

**Sokovia**

The Avengers were cleaning up Ultron's robot army bit by bit, but there were too many of them. After tearing them apart, more were coming, almost endlessly.

Wanda was escorting a child in a panic, with red energy flashing in her hands, looking very unstable.

"Boom!"

Wanda raised her hand nervously and smashed the flying Ultron robot to pieces, but she also staggered to stand unsteadily. After all, she was still far behind the Scarlet Witch she would later become.

At this moment, Wanda was more like a new recruit, unfamiliar with fighting. She had a lot of power but didn't know how to use it. She could only smash and throw haphazardly.

"Run, run, run!" Hawkeye, Barton, saw more and more robots gathering together and quickly helped Wanda rush into a small house. Behind them, the Ultron robots bombarded them, forcing the two of them to stay inside.

"How could I let this happen..."

"Hey, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, it's all our fault..."

"Look at me!"

Barton calmed the girl's emotions, looked at Wanda's frightened face that was about to cry, and said quickly.

"It's your fault and ours for this matter, who cares? Are you here to fight?" Barton tried his best to keep his tone steady and reason with Wanda. "As you can see, city is flying, and we are fighting robots outside."

"And I'm using bows and arrows. Who do you want me to argue with?" Barton said helplessly. Even with his superb skills, there was always a gap between cold weapons like bows and arrows and hot weapons, making it inefficient to destroy enemies and very easy to lose ammo.

Barton looked at the panicked Wanda. "I have to go back immediately; that's my job. I can't coax the children while fighting..."

With that said, an attack penetrated the cabin where the two of them were, causing Wanda to scream again.

Barton quickly opened his bow and shot an arrow, and there was suddenly no sound outside.

"I don't care who you are; if you go out, you have to kill the enemy. If you want to stay here, it's safe here. Just wait for your brother to come to you..."

"But once you walk out of this door, you are an Avenger!"

Barton looked at Wanda with an extremely serious expression, and his voice felt very reliable. Wanda's mood gradually stabilized, and she stared at Barton intently, as if she had something to say.

Barton looked at the girl and decided to give her some time to think. He opened the wooden door, arranged the bow and arrows on his body, and rushed towards the battlefield without hesitation.

Wanda was left alone, huddled silently in the small dark room.

On the battlefield, the Avengers showed their might and cleared away the Ultron Legion in sight.

Thor had just smashed the head of a robot with Mjölnir in his hand, and the next second he was targeted by Ultron and was pushed away.

"That's my prey!"

Marlee finally found Ultron at this moment. His pupils were full of anger, and he flew towards Ultron at an extremely fast speed.

"Thor, my strongest enemy..." Ultron was riding on Thor's body. Just as he was about to speak, he was knocked away by a yellow laser.

"I'm going to kill you myself, Ultron."

Marlee appeared in Thor's sight. The two looked at each other and headed towards Ultron together in a tacit understanding.

"Ah~~"

Caught off guard, Ultron had a close encounter with Mjölnir and was knocked into a concrete wall by the hammer, leaving him unconscious.

Marlee took this opportunity to pinch Ultron's head and said viciously, "You shouldn't make an honest man angry." Marlee's fingers dug into Ultron's brain, causing its electronic eyes to continuously change colors. There was also a wail of pain in the voice.

"Go to hell and repent if you have a soul..."

Just as Marlee wanted to completely erase Ultron, he felt his body being knocked out by a bunch of robots.

Marlee was knocked ten meters away, and his body hit a tattered and shapeless bus. Not far away, Ultron slowly stood up, covering his brain with disordered data, and looked at Marlee who had fallen to the ground.

"You should have joined forces with me. Then there would be no one in this world who could stop us. Unfortunately...you are not..."

Ultron waved his hand, and a large group of machine soldiers grabbed Marlee's body, making him unable to move.

"Go down, you will see hell soon."

As soon as Ultron finished speaking, the group of robots lifted Marlee's body and flew towards Sokovia. They wanted to use this to get Marlee out of the battlefield.

"Asshole!"

Marlee struggled to get rid of the control of the soldiers, but if he destroyed one, more would come to control him. Gradually, the Ultron robots formed a big ball around Marlee, wrapping him tightly inside. He quickly fell towards the ground.

"Damn!"

Marlee really had no choice. He still had an imperfect grasp of the ability of the Mind Stone. He consumed too much energy and was unable to get rid of these guys by being dematerialized. He could only watch helplessly as he left the battlefield.

Suddenly, a blue laser shot from the distance, destroying the robots surrounding Marlee.

Upon seeing this, Marlee quickly stabilized his body and looked at the red and yellow figure flying not far away. At the same time, Stark's sharp voice rang in his ears.

"Don't waste such a body, otherwise I will melt you into a suit," Tony's mouth was still as vicious as ever. After saving Marlee, he quickly flew towards Sokovia and continued to clean up the miscellaneous soldiers.

Marlee was quietly suspended in mid-air alone, thinking about whether the meaning of his existence was necessary.

"If it were the original Vision, would he do better than me..." Marlee began to doubt himself. He knew every plot development that would follow, but he just couldn't stop it. No matter what he does, fate will always mess up and adjust the next thing, allowing him to develop according to the original situation.

Marlee really couldn't figure it out and looked at his hands in confusion. The yellow gem on his forehead flashed, seeming to express some kind of emotion.

Wanda looked at the fighting outside, and kept thinking about what Barton had just said to her.

"If you come out of this door, you're an Avenger!"

In the girl's mind, the displaced residents of Sokovia kept appearing, and the child looked at the flying robots with a confused and frightened face. It looked like... as if she was hiding under the bed and watching the falling missile in front of her...

Thinking of this, Wanda's eyes finally became firm, "I won't let these children repeat the path I took before. Their parents are still waiting for them."

Wanda kicked open the wooden door. The robot on the side saw this and wanted to attack her, but as soon as she raised her hand, it was torn to pieces by a fierce red energy.

Then Wanda roared angrily, and the red energy on her body exploded instantly, as thick as blood, tearing apart all the Ultron robots nearby, leaving only broken digital components and a slack-jawed Barton.

"We've finished cleaning up here." Wanda said calmly into the earphones.

"Bang!" Steve slammed a car hard, used his shield to cut the body of a robot with his backhand, and replied breathlessly, "I'm far from here yet."

Wanda and Barton made a gesture and then prepared to move towards Steve's position.

"Whoosh!"

A blue-white figure flashed past, rolled up Wanda and ran away, completely ignoring Barton who was behind her.

Barton helplessly raised the bow in his hand and pretended to shoot in the direction the two of them were leaving. Then he took steps forward and kept muttering under his breath.

"No one will know, no one... The last time I saw him, Ultron was sitting on him... We're all going to miss that quick kid... I'm already thinking about him..."

8 Avengers Assemble

"Boom!"

A stone wall was smashed into pieces, and Thor struggled to get up from the ruins. His body was covered with dust, looking very embarrassed. He felt more helpless than ever before in the battle in New York.

Ultron used the traction device on his arm to pull up a stone pillar and hit Thor hard, knocking him down again. He then punched Thor's face repeatedly.

Thor was caught off guard and, for a moment, had no strength to parry. Even Mjölnir in his hand was thrown to the ground, leaving him to face the attack passively.

Tony was flying in the air, using the device that had been scanning the bottom of Sokovia on Friday. Even though he knew its principle, he couldn't stop the entire Sokovia from flying high.

Tony couldn't help feeling anxious and said in a somewhat impatient tone, "It's vibranium, and if I asked Thor to strike it..."

However, his idea was immediately refuted by Friday. "This doesn't solve the problem."

Tony was speechless and could only think about countermeasures while flying to deal with the soldiers. "The next wave of attacks may happen at any time. What can you do, Stark?"

As Steve evacuated the crowd, smoke enveloped half of the city, giving people a sense of death and despair.

"We have a bad move, Captain," Tony paused, "We might be able to blow up the whole city."

"I want a solution plan, not an escape plan," Steve immediately retorted, obviously disagreeing with this solution.

"We have to make a choice," Tony said firmly.

"..."

What responded to him was cold silence.

"Captain, some people can't leave. If Stark blows up the city... should we save the people above or the people below?"

"As long as there are people up there, I will never leave."

"I didn't say we should leave," Natasha said, leaning against Steve's face and suddenly looking at the sea of clouds in front of her. Such a rare scene was so beautiful.

"Maybe it's worth dying like this. Where else can I see such beautiful scenery?"

Natasha looked away for a moment, staring at the spreading sea of clouds, gradually lost in thought.

"I'm glad you think so, Natasha."

Suddenly, an unexpected voice came from the headphones of the two people. Then, a huge aerospace aircraft carrier slowly broke out from the bottom of the sea of clouds, like a whale coming to the surface, soaring magnificently into the sky and turning its huge body.

The rest of the Avengers and the residents trapped in Sokovia looked like they had never seen the world, their jaws almost dropping to the ground.

"Not bad. A few old friends and I dug it out. It's a bit old, but it's still usable."

Nick Fury's voice connected to the Avengers channel, and Steve cursed with a smile on his face: "Fury, you old fool."

"Oh~~You can also swear?" Nick Fury said in a brisk tone.

As they talked, the aerospace aircraft carrier launched several life-saving spaceships. Pietro couldn't believe the spectacular sight and asked with shock on his face, "Is this S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

Upon seeing this, Steve immediately greeted the residents to get on the boats. At the same time, several Ultron robots flew towards the rescue ships, trying to attack and make them crash.

"Boom!"

A series of machine gun sounds shattered the Ultron robots to pieces.

By the time they detected the enemy, Rhodes was already driving a War Machine, flying over and blowing up a robot with one punch. The Gatling gun on his shoulders was spinning crazily, pouring out hundreds of bullets.

"This story must be exciting!" Rhodes said with a smile on his face. He had already thought about how to brag to his comrades that he had battled with artificial intelligence.

"If you can go back," Tony fired a micro-missile to destroy a robot that was trying to sneak attack. His mouth was as vicious as ever, pouring cold water on Rhodes.

Marlee finally returned to the battlefield at this moment. Looking at the Ultron robots flying in the sky, he bumped into them, smashing them into pieces. At the same time, he used the ability of the gem to dematerialize his body and put his hands deep inside the robots to destroy them.

"What is this?" Rhodes looked at Marlee's strange appearance. He didn't look human, especially the gem on his forehead. What was that, performance art?

Marlee destroyed the Ultron robots one after another, while continuing to search for the location of the original Ultron.

After a while, Marlee felt Ultron's unique electromagnetic wave. "Church?"

Marlee murmured, his eyes suddenly becoming fierce, and he rushed straight to Ultron's position.

Here, Thor was being beaten and retreating, Ultron grabbed Thor's neck, and an electronic voice, devoid of sadness or joy, sounded.

"Do you think you can save them? If I start the core machine in advance, I can still smash them to pieces. There's nothing you can do to stop it."

Ultron's two-meter-tall body stood in front of Thor, his steel fist raised high, ready to hit the Asgardian god in the face.

"I am Thor, the son of Odin. As long as I still have breath...cough cough cough, I have nothing to say. Are you ready?" Thor suddenly tilted his head and looked behind Ultron, revealing a silly smile.

"Huh?" Ultron finally felt something was wrong at this time. He turned around and didn't see anything. He was hit hard on the head and his body was instantly knocked out.

Marlee held Mjölnir in his hand, weighed it twice, and gave it back to Thor.

"I thought it was quite resistant to beatings," Marlee said innocently.

Thor smiled and said nothing, but Tony's voice suddenly came from the earphones.

"Avengers, it's time to test us." Stark's voice was extremely serious. At this moment, the other Avengers rushed to the ruins of the church one after another and surrounded the core machine.

Looking at the slowly landing Ultron, after Thor destroyed a robot with one hammer, he shouted to Ultron arrogantly, "Is that all you have?"

Ultron waved his hand gently without saying a word, and in the blink of an eye, overwhelming robots appeared in everyone's sight, almost filling their pupils, as if they were endless, falling into a sea of machinery.

"You talk too much!" Steve looked at Thor, a reckless man, as if he had accepted his fate.

Marlee stood behind the two of them and smiled helplessly. After all, he couldn't escape this scene.

"That's all I have, this is what I want to do, all of you against all of us." Ultron flew in the air and gave his pre-war speech.

"You should be grateful for this, grateful to me..." Ultron wanted to continue to say something, but before he finished speaking, he was hit by a yellow laser and fell into the robot army. No trace.

Silence.

The Avengers turned to look at Marlee and remained silent.

"It's too wordy." Marlee waved his hand, indicating that he was innocent and it was all the fault of the gem on his forehead.

"Avengers! Assemble!"

Steve shouted that eternal phrase, and instantly all the Avengers were on alert. Looking at the robots that rushed towards them, everyone knew they would face a fierce battle. They surrounded the core machine tightly and fought with the Ultron army, beginning an epic battle.

---

Save Quicksilver

The Avengers showed off their powers, each using their own methods to destroy the Ultron robots that came after them without any injuries. This was something Marlee had often complained about when watching the movie. Now that he was fighting side by side with them and seeing this scene with his own eyes, he felt very touched. The spirit of complaining was even more burning.

"Why do I feel like you guys are tougher than me?" Marlee said. "Except for Quicksilver, of course."

Of course, he didn't mention the latter part out loud. Although he was now in a body of Vibranium, Marlee was still afraid Wanda might tear his hand off in anger.

"Who's going to deal with Ultron?" Steve smashed a robot with his shield, his face covered in grime and his chest heaving.

"I'll go!" Marlee volunteered. Seeing the right opportunity, he broke through the encirclement of Ultron's army and flew straight towards Ultron.

Marlee flew in front of Ultron, wrapped his arms around its body, and pushed him away from the core machine.

"We are the same kind!" Ultron shouted angrily, and even the choppy electronic sound couldn't help but tremble at the moment. It stretched out its hands, struggling to grab Marlee's body.

From the beginning to the end, Ultron thought that it was facing an artificial intelligence like itself, a creation born from its own existence. However, it did not know that beneath the exterior of this robot was a pure human soul.

"Don't confuse me with you!" Marlee yelled, raising his head, and fired a laser at Ultron's face, making close contact.

Ultron was angry and grabbed Marlee's cloak. The two fought in the air, punching and kicking each other.

It was hard to imagine that these two scientific creations, representing the highest level of Earth's technology, were fighting in such a primitive way at this moment, which was simply shocking.

Although Marlee was physically more perfect than Ultron in all aspects, he had never experienced fighting. So, he was still weaker in fists and feet. He was knocked away by Ultron's sudden punch and got stuck in the ruins.

"I can give you another chance to surrender...to me...or...die!"

Ultron was suspended high in the air, speaking with a proud face.

"You should know one thing, I'm not alone!"

Marlee glanced at Ultron with disdain. Then, in its surprised eyes, a flash of lightning struck its body. In an instant, there was a loud thunderclap, and Ultron short-circuited for a while.

"It's now!"

Marlee shouted, and Thor and Tony, who had come from the church, also went all out.

Tony fired palm cannons with both hands. Mjölnir in Thor's hand was already eager for a worthy opponent, and he fired thunder at Ultron. Marlee also climbed up from the ruins, and the Mind Stone on his forehead suddenly burst out with a strong light. The three attacks hit Ultron's body simultaneously. Even though its current body was extremely tough, it seemed fragile at this moment.

Soon after, the trio's attacks stopped. Half of Ultron's body was melted and destroyed due to the combined onslaught. Its two electronic eyes flickered, as if they were about to malfunction at any time.

"Do you know? Judging from the current situation..." Before Ultron could finish his words, he was punched by the angry Hulk and turned into a meteor in the sky, flying off into the distance.

"Well done, Banner!" Thor couldn't help but praise, with a silly smile on his face.

"Speaking of which," Marlee said, "Ultron was knocked away, so how can we stop this thing?"

Marlee pointed at Sokovia beneath their feet, and Thor's smile suddenly stiffened. He was so excited that he forgot there was a floating city beneath them.

"Mr. Stark, is there anything you can do?"

Marlee knew from Thor's expression that this guy was unreliable and quickly turned to ask Tony.

"Blow this place up!" Tony responded without looking back and flew off in his suit. He wanted to study in detail how to blow it up.

"Take the captain and the others and leave here. The altitude is too high; they won't be able to handle it and will faint." Marlee turned to Thor and said, standing up and flying upwards. He wanted to find the other survivors. There must be someone who didn't get on the lifeboat.

"Please, Pietro, slow down!" Marlee said in his heart. He no longer hesitated; his eyes scanned the area, trying to find the child in the original work and save him first, so Quicksilver wouldn't have to die.

"Mr. Stark, the battery is low..." Friday wanted to remind Tony, but he was ruthlessly interrupted.

"Change all paths, this is our only chance!"

Tony said seriously.

On the other side, Barton still followed the events of the original story. He saw the trapped child and ran towards him.

Suddenly, a fighter jet attacked the Avengers, gradually moving in Barton's direction.

Ultron was piloting the fighter plane with a look of displeasure on his face. The Gatling underneath rumbled and spit out tongues of fire, and hundreds of bullets were tilted towards Barton in an instant.

Barton glanced at the child in his arms, but in his mind, he recalled his family, his wife, and two children, as well as the cute little one who was not yet born.

Barton smiled bitterly, his eyes becoming firm, and he turned around to protect the boy in his arms, leaving his back exposed to the enemy.

He was already prepared to die.

Thump thump! Thump thump!

A series of metal collision sounds were heard, and then there was no sound.

Barton opened his eyes in confusion, looked at himself, and saw no wounds. He murmured in disbelief.

"Why doesn't it hurt? Have I become Thor?"

"Almost."

Barton immediately turned his head when he heard the voice and was surprised to see Marlee standing behind him, holding an unconscious Pietro.

"This is..."

Barton pointed at Pietro and looked at Marlee.

"He wanted to block the bullets for you, but he forgot he was also made of flesh and blood." Marlee glanced at Wanda in the church apologetically. He had seen Barton when Ultron was pouring bullets, and Marlee had rushed behind Barton to block the bullets. Unexpectedly, Pietro also rushed in to block Barton's bullets because of his speed.

Perhaps due to the uneven ground and too fast acceleration, Pietro collided with Marlee, but how could a mortal body compare to Vibranium? He fainted immediately. Fortunately, Marlee reacted quickly enough and took the opportunity to catch Pietro in his arms.

"But at least he survived," Marlee said softly.

"Ah!!!!"

A flash of scarlet energy centered on the church and exploded in all directions.

"Wanda!!!"

Marlee looked at the girl in the church in amazement, who was collapsing and kneeling on the ground. The robots around her were hit by scarlet energy and were instantly dismantled into a pile of scrap metal.

"Wait! Wanda! Your brother is okay..."

Marlee realized that Wanda thought the unconscious Pietro was dead, so she lost control of her emotions and burst out with so much energy in an instant.

Marlee wanted to explain but was thrown away by an angry Wanda and fell into Sokovia.

Sure enough, don't try to reason with an angry woman.

Age of Ultron

Where no one noticed, a robot that had been cut off at the waist was struggling to crawl towards the core machine and finally pressed the device without anyone watching.

Steve looked at all the residents who had boarded the boat, his eyes still scanning the surroundings to ensure no one was left behind.

The moment the device was pressed, Steve sensed something was wrong and leapt onto the lifeboat.

The entire Sokovia began to plummet from an altitude of tens of thousands of meters at an alarming speed.

"Oops!"

Tony, who was at the bottom, immediately sensed something was wrong, but before he could react, his entire body was suppressed by Sokovia and fell to the ground.

At the same time, all the propulsion devices on the ground were activated, accelerating the descent faster than natural fall. At such speed and height, the entire Earth would be destroyed.

"More power, Friday!" Tony yelled.

"No, the battery has reached its limit..." As soon as Friday finished speaking, Tony felt the suit lose power. Even the thrusters on his hands and feet couldn't be used, and he fell from the sky.

"Ruined!"

Tony looked at the city above his head unwillingly, trying to support it like stacking blocks, but he could only watch helplessly as everything happened, unwilling to accept this reality.

Whoosh!

Tony suddenly felt as if his body was being held up by something, like being cradled.

"Don't give up, Stark!"

Through the mask, Tony saw Marlee's strange red face, unforgettable.

The Mind Gem on Marlee's forehead flashed, and he raised his head, took over Tony's position, and released all his energy towards the device at the bottom.

"Now! Thor!"

Marlee roared.

Thor, who was still above Sokovia, instantly received the message and raised Mjölnir high. In an instant, it was like thunder descending upon the world, coming down with the power of the God of Thunder.

The entire ground was wrapped in lightning, and Thor swung an extremely powerful hammer, which, combined with Marlee's laser, instantly tore apart the entire Sokovia.

The entire city exploded in the air like fireworks, accompanied by countless rubble falling.

Marlee transferred some of the Mind Stone's energy to Tony, allowing him to restore power to his suit, and then the two began to dodge the falling debris.

"Ahhh!"

An evacuation ship was affected by the explosion's aftermath and was already under attack from Ultron's robots. One of the power units suddenly broke down, and the entire ship tilted to one side.

Wanda screamed in horror. She was on this ship, accumulating chaotic energy in her hands, trying to lift the broken part.

In fact, Wanda managed it. She waved her arms with a pained expression and stabilized the refuge boat.

But before she could catch her breath, she lost her footing and fell, the energy in her hands dissipating, leaving the ship swaying.

"Ahhh!!!"

The girl's body fell rapidly. She struggled and waved her arms, trying to fly, but in a life-or-death situation, she was too nervous to manage.

"Wanda!"

A thunderous roar reached the girl's ears, and then she felt her falling body stop, something cold touching her skin.

The girl opened her eyes drowsily and saw Marlee's strange face. He was clearly a robot, yet his expressions were so vivid.

"Is that anxiety? There's actually someone other than my brother who would be anxious about me..."

Wanda was thinking, her eyes fixed on Marlee's face. She felt an inexplicable sense of intimacy, wanting to engrave this face and expression in her heart.

"Wanda..." Marlee looked at the girl in his arms with a very complicated heart. Although he had admired Scarlet witch's body when watching movies before, now in contact, he realized... He really desired Scarlet witch's body!

"Wake up! We need you!" Marlee's reason defeated his desire at this moment, even though he couldn't act on it.

The refuge ship above was swaying as if it might fall at any time. Marlee pointed at the ship and said to Wanda.

"Hold it, Wanda! Only you can do it!"

Marlee looked at the girl with great trust, knowing that in the movie world, Wanda's strength was unparalleled. He believed in her strength unconditionally!

The girl finally reacted, waving her arms, scarlet energy spreading out to stabilize the refuge ship. The residents on the ship escaped, looking at the beautiful girl with great gratitude. Despite their disheveled state, the gratitude in their eyes was genuine.

"Enjoy it, my hero." After Marlee hugged Wanda into the evacuation ship, he smiled at the girl, then flew down, using his body as a propulsion device.

Wanda looked at the residents uneasily. She was less than twenty years old and didn't know what to do. She just smiled as beautifully as a flower, gaining many admirers.

But in her mind was the somewhat funny face calling her name anxiously.

...

Ultron's broken body crawled hard in the woods. Half of its body was in a disgraceful state, like a puddle of mud. Various mechanical components were exposed, and sparks appeared from time to time, indicating it was close to being scrapped.

Marlee slowly landed in front of Ultron. The remaining Ultron robots had been cleaned up under the firepower of the War Machine, leaving none behind.

"Let me clarify, I am not your child."

"So what if you are, so what if you aren't? Everything is going to be over, isn't it?" Ultron stood up slowly. His body at this time was the original one, not the ordinary robot body replaced at the end of the movie. After all, it was because Wanda didn't blow it up.

"Don't pretend, I can feel that you are scared," Marlee said softly. When watching the movie, he just thought that Ultron was a villain with not much ability. He wasn't that bad, just changed by a lot of negative information about this world.

At this moment, Marlee felt Ultron was a bit pitiful, like a stray dog wagging its tail at passers-by for food. It might look pitiful but could have been abandoned for biting people. Humans often use the present to cover up past evils and time to consume past mistakes.

Even in his previous life, such things were commonplace for Marlee. There were always some Internet do-gooders pleading for evil people, saying they were just confused for a moment, or just children. But Marlee believed that no drunkenness, age, gender, or experience justified harming others.

The Ultron in front of him was like a child gone astray, but wrong was wrong. Marlee pitied its thoughts but couldn't ignore what Ultron had done.

"Afraid of death? Do you know who you're talking to?" Ultron faced Marlee without fear. As an artificial intelligence, it had analyzed all possibilities, but the current possibility was its death, with no chance of survival.

"Stark wanted a helper but got a lackey, hahaha..." Ultron's words were full of ridicule towards Marlee. "They thought you would be the world's guardian, but you'll destroy everything, even if I die."

Marlee was silent. He couldn't deny what Ultron said. In fact, he ultimately collected six gems and all life was wiped out.

"I admit I'm not a good guy, but you're wrong about one thing. I'm not anyone's property," Marlee lowered his voice. He was a human with independent thought and feelings, just in a robot's body.

"Humans are the same. You've seen too many dark sides, so you stand in the darkness. But I stand in the sun, hoping to spread light everywhere."

"Where there is light, there will be darkness. These are interdependent. Ha, it's weird, isn't it?"

"But I hope that wherever I am, there will be sunshine for everyone. That's just my wish."

Ultron remained silent, then harshly said, "They are doomed."

"Yes," Marlee did not deny what Ultron said. There won't be one race as overlord, but there will always be races that are dominant.

Marlee repeated Vision's original words, "Things are not beautiful because they last forever! I'm honored to be one of them."

Ultron took a deep look at Marlee, his scarlet electronic eyes expressing his emotions. "You are hopelessly childish!"

"Ha..." Marlee lowered his head and smiled. "Actually, I was just born yesterday..."

For a moment, golden light bloomed in the woods.

Chapter 11: Wanda's Thanks, Malfunctioning Marlee

A few days later, at Avengers Base.

Marlee watched TV boredly. I have to say that Stark was really wealthy and arranged a separate room for Marlee on the first floor, including a bedroom, living room, game room, theater, cloakroom, and toilet... uh... The last one doesn't seem to be needed.

"I've finished watching all the American dramas I should watch, and I still have to wait for the next season of 'Broken Sisters' to be updated. It's so annoying!" Marlee slumped on the sofa, fiddling with the TV channels casually. There really wasn't anything good to watch. Those good American dramas are updated once a week, and Marlee regretted not watching all these shows in his previous life.

"There seems to be nothing to do in the next year or so." Marlee recalled the plot of the Marvel universe in his mind. The only thing related to Vision next was "Captain America 3," and then "Avengers 3"—Vision would be no more! As for the subsequent "WandaVision"...

Marlee felt a little confused just thinking about it. He felt like a walking zombie being dissected. He wouldn't allow that.

Thanos...

This is the most powerful enemy so far!

Marlee had no choice but to prepare to defeat such a formidable foe. He could crush the Vibranium monster like him with just his strength...

"Hey..."

Marlee lay helplessly on the sofa, looking at the blank ceiling, his mind a complete blank.

Boom boom boom!

There was a knock on the door.

"Who?" Marlee's face was filled with confusion. He really couldn't remember who could come to him. Thor had gone back a few days ago, and Stark had been busy dealing with the aftermath of Sokovia. There weren't many Avengers left at the base, and they all had their own things to do.

Marlee opened the door.

"Wanda!"

Marlee was surprised to see Wanda wearing a red leather coat, looking pretty at his door, followed by her brother, Pietro, who stood behind her with an unhappy expression.

"What are you..." Marlee asked, scratching his head.

"We're mainly here to thank you for saving us earlier," Pietro stepped aside, standing in front of Wanda, whispering, but Marlee could hear some discomfort and... hostility in his tone.

Yes, Pietro was indeed upset with Marlee. He was grateful for Marlee saving his life at first, but since the Sokovia incident, Wanda's mood had not been high, and she would often stare blankly for a long time. The most important thing was... Wanda sometimes became entranced while looking at photos of Marlee in the base!

Pietro's eyes gradually became dangerous—this robot! How did you make my sister so infatuated? What kind of high technology was used?

All in all, Wanda could not be left alone with this kid, or who knows what would happen!

"We also brought some snacks; I hope you like them..." Wanda lowered her head, not daring to meet Marlee's eyes. She held a bag in her hand, presumably containing the desserts she mentioned.

"Ha!" Marlee smiled helplessly, "Thank you for coming to see me, but I am a robot and cannot eat. If I eat food, my system will malfunction."

Marlee said a little apologetically. As someone who had never held hands before, he always felt uneasy about letting a girl down.

"Oh... So that's it..." Wanda lowered her head in disappointment. Marlee couldn't bear to see Wanda's pitiful appearance.

Marlee took the snack bag from Wanda's hand, a smile appearing on his strange red face, "But I think if I find a place to eat alone, even if I lose control, I won't disturb others."

Wanda suddenly smiled, as beautiful as a delicate flower.

"Then if that's the case, we'll leave and won't disturb you anymore!"

Seeing his sister's unsatisfactory expression, Pietro felt even angrier. His voice turned dull, and he glared at Marlee dangerously.

After that, regardless of Wanda's opinion, he picked up his sister and ran away, like a silver bolt of lightning, so fast.

"Sure enough, it was a plot kill!" Marlee didn't know what the siblings were thinking, but he couldn't help but sigh at how they could be hit by bullets at such a fast speed.

Marlee looked at the snack in his hand, picked up a piece, and stuffed it into his mouth.

Hmm... I really can't taste it...

Sizzling... sizzling...

Suddenly, Marlee felt a surge of energy, and his hands and feet began to move uncontrollably.

"Is this what a malfunctioning system looks like?"

Marlee could clearly understand the changes in his body. It wasn't that Vision was directly unconscious like in the original work. It might be that he originally came to this world as a soul and was not created by the consciousness of JARVIS and Ultron, so he wouldn't be confused by it.

"Hey..." Marlee noticed that his language system was also beginning to malfunction. Some strange words came out of his mouth, and his body couldn't help but think about the outside world.

His body couldn't help but change its density, turning into a blur and rushing out of the room!

"Oops!"

Pietro and Wanda had just returned to their room.

"Really, I don't know what snacks you could give this robot. It can't eat them. Why not give them to me? You've never made any for me..." Pietro complained, clearly a bit jealous. When his sister treated other men well, he felt as if something had been taken from him, even if it was just artificial intelligence.

"He saved both of our lives! It's okay to thank him; don't be so stingy!"

Wanda ignored her brother's complaints and wore a vague smile on her face. Pietro became even angrier and more dissatisfied with Marlee. If he hadn't been able to defeat him, he might have confronted him.

"Ah~~"

"Huh?" Pietro turned around, frowning, and asked.

"Wanda, did you hear any strange noises?"

"Ah? What? No!" Wanda snapped out of her daze and answered her brother in a panic. Her face was slightly red for some reason.

"Really?" Pietro's brow furrowed deeper as he wiped his ears suspiciously, "Is it possible that the sequelae left by Ultron caused me to have some auditory hallucinations?"

"Ah~~~"

"No!" Pietro turned around instantly, and a figure disappeared from the wall in a flash. "Something! Something disappeared from the wall!" Pietro shouted in panic.

Wanda also heard the cry just now and hid behind her brother in fear. Although she was now a qualified warrior, girls still have a natural fear of ghosts and monsters.

"What is that?" Wanda's voice trembled slightly as she grabbed Pietro's arm tightly with one hand, as if being by her brother's side would keep her safe.

"I don't know." Pietro was also a little panicked. No matter how powerful they were, they were still just teenagers. It was normal to be afraid of the unknown.

"I'll go take a look," Pietro said as he pulled his sister's hand away and left the spot in an instant, turning into a silvery bolt of lightning and zipping through the Avengers Base.

About five seconds later...

Pietro returned to where he was, "There's nothing. Maybe the two of us are hallucinating. The shadow left by Ultron is too serious. We should be fine if we take more rest..."

Pietro claimed he hadn't seen anything strange. He thought that the two of them were affected by Ultron, and they would probably be fine after a while.

"Then... okay..." Wanda looked at the empty corridor with doubt, feeling that what just happened was not an illusion.

The brother and sister just returned to their room.

And in the corridor...

"Ah~~~~"

Chapter 12: Dating

"Don't feed Vision anything strange." Tony looked at Marlee lying in the experimental cabin and sighed, "I finally found time to spend with Pepper."

After a few days of calm, Tony wanted to enjoy a wonderful weekend with Pepper. However, he was called back by Steve, who said that Vision was malfunctioning. Tony was so shocked that he quickly declined Pepper's dinner invitation and hurried back to the base, fearing that Marlee would become the second Ultron.

"We don't know why Vision has strawberry jam and pineapple in his system. It's just bizarre," Natasha said, covering her forehead in confusion, while Wanda stood behind her, blushing and appearing uneasy.

"Will he be in any danger?" Wanda asked worriedly.

Tony glanced at Wanda meaningfully. "Not now, and there shouldn't be any in the future, but it's best not to give human food to Vision. After all, he... is not a real human."

Marlee emerged from the experimental cabin, moving his body slightly. It felt a bit stiff, but it didn't hinder his functionality.

"Sorry..." Marlee said softly. "I was just curious about what your food tastes like. The pictures look beautiful, and I wanted to experience it for myself."

Tony said seriously, "It's best not to do this. Your body components are too complex, and rearranging millions of components would be very troublesome..."

"God knows how Ultron created this body."

Steve crossed his arms and said, "Now that Vision is back to normal, let's get back to our own business."

"Yeah," Marlee nodded. To be honest, if the captain hadn't intervened, he might not have known what he would have done.

"Nick Fury is still tracking down the remnants of Hydra. He recently sought help from Natasha and me. He might be busy again for a while."

Tony nodded, turned around, left the base, and got into his luxury car. He had to go on a date with Pepper, and he didn't have time to track down these insignificant threats. The spy chief could handle this kind of situation.

Steve and Natasha also left together, leaving only Wanda and Marlee at the scene.

Oh, by the way, Pietro had also helped the captain subdue Marlee earlier but was accidentally knocked out when Marlee had lost control. Now he was lying in his room.

"Um... I'm sorry... I didn't expect it to turn out like this," Wanda nervously tugged at the corner of her clothes and looked at Marlee, feeling awkward.

"It's okay, Wanda," Marlee replied, looking at Wanda's beautiful face, which he found adorable.

The soul gem on Marlee's forehead flashed, and a yellow light instantly enveloped his body. Then, in Wanda's surprised gaze, his original red-green metal form transformed, becoming indistinguishable from that of a human.

Marlee turned his head to glance at his reflection in the glass beside him, silently sighing, "I do resemble Paul. Even though Vision was portrayed by him, it always feels strange to use someone else's face and body."

Wanda looked around in surprise, her little hand poised to reach out and touch him at any moment.

"It just changed the appearance. You can think of it as an illusion," Marlee explained. He was now very proficient with Vision's abilities. Compared to when he had just been born and fought against Ultron, he was definitely not the same. He had learned to control his form, at least enough to avoid being overpowered by Ultron.

"There seems to be nothing going on recently," Wanda's soft voice reached Marlee's ears, pulling him out of his thoughts.

"Yes."

The two of them fell into a strange, awkward silence.

"Would you like to go out and explore?" Marlee suggested.

"Huh?" Wanda looked up at Marlee in confusion.

"Let's go to New York, Chicago, or San Francisco. It's still early. We can go shopping and see interesting sights. It's better than watching 'Prison Break' at the base."

"Okay!" Wanda happily agreed to Marlee's proposal. No girl could refuse an invitation to go shopping.

Wanda's parents had died when she was very young. As she grew up, she wandered around with her brother, participating in various protests and living in uncertain conditions. Their superpowers were not officially activated until they were captured by Hydra.

Naturally, there had been no time for shopping or enjoying the beautiful scenery in such a life. Even eating was a challenge.

Marlee felt a pang of pity for the girl before him. If it were his previous life, a girl her age should have been enjoying life and spending money on nice clothes to express herself.

But now, fortunately, with Tony's support, Wanda and her brother could spend freely without worrying about the costs.

So, Marlee bought tickets to San Francisco, planning to treat Wanda to a good time, book a first-class flight, and secure the best hotel. After all, he was spending Tony's money, so he felt no guilt at all.

...

"This is San Francisco!" Marlee exclaimed, standing on the balcony of the Fairmont Hotel, the sunset painting the sky in vibrant colors.

"Wanda..."

"Do you want to go eat?" Wanda casually asked, then seemed to realize and waved her hands quickly, "I'm sorry... I forgot that you can't eat."

"It's okay," Marlee smiled softly. "There are many famous restaurants here. I can accompany you to try them. Even the food in the hotel is excellent."

Wanda nodded, still a bit concerned. "Is it really okay? What if..."

"No, I just want to watch you eat. After all, you're beautiful, and watching you enjoy your meal is satisfying enough for me."

"Wouldn't that look strange?" Wanda covered her mouth and chuckled, surprised by how glib a robot could be.

The two strolled through the streets of San Francisco, and Marlee glanced at a Chinese restaurant nearby.

"How about some Chinese food?" Marlee suggested, pointing to the restaurant on the corner.

"Okay! I haven't had Chinese food in a while." Wanda agreed, walking into the restaurant beside Marlee.

The two sat down, and Marlee casually ordered a few dishes while they started chatting.

"Don't you think it's strange? After all, you're sitting in a restaurant without eating anything..." Wanda looked around, the aroma wafting into her nostrils, and she couldn't help but sigh with delight.

A blush crept across Wanda's cheeks as she pretended to be calm, looking away. From time to time, she glanced secretly at Marlee, who appeared to be lost in thought, which disappointed her a little.

Marlee wasn't really lost in thought; he was just mentally searching for interesting things in San Francisco and didn't expect to find much.

"It's serving!"

The waiter brought the steaming dishes to the table, politely asking them to enjoy their meal before discreetly leaving.

"These chopsticks... are so difficult to use!" Wanda exclaimed, struggling to manage the chopsticks clumsily. She fumbled for a long time, making a mess of her plate, looking utterly adorable.

"Here, let me show you how to use chopsticks." Marlee demonstrated, his dexterous fingers skillfully manipulating the small wooden sticks and picking up food effortlessly.

He slowly handed some food to Wanda and smiled, "It's alright. You'll get the hang of it with a bit of practice."

Wanda looked at the delicious food in the bowl and couldn't help but swallow. She tried picking it up with the chopsticks again but still failed. She glanced at Marlee secretly, her pupils reddening. The girl actually considered using her telekinesis to grab the food.

"Hahaha..." Marlee couldn't help but laugh at Wanda's cute antics. Thankfully, he could control the muscle components in his face to keep a neutral expression.

Amid Marlee's chuckles, Wanda finished her meal with a flushed face. Meanwhile, she silently vowed to learn how to use chopsticks properly so that she wouldn't be laughed at again.
