Chapter 90 - 3

Chapter 13: Ant-Man Scott

After enjoying a meal, Marlee and Wanda walked side by side along the streets of San Francisco. As darkness fell, the streets became noticeably emptier, as it's commonly acknowledged that nighttime in the United States can be unsafe.

Marlee ambled ahead, while Wanda followed closely behind. Their conversation drifted to a residential street.

"I remember Sam seemed to be stationed around here," Marlee mentioned.

Wanda opened her expressive eyes. If you're going to tell me that in such a lovely atmosphere, you're really oblivious!

"Okay... it seems..." Wanda replied, her tone somewhat reluctant.

A smile crept onto Marlee's face. At that moment, he halted, and Wanda, lost in thought, almost bumped into him.

"What's wrong?" Wanda asked, puzzled. Marlee smiled easily, pointed to a house nearby, and said, "There seems to be something happening inside."

"Huh?" Wanda responded, glancing in the direction Marlee was pointing.

Suddenly, a helicopter overhead spiraled out of control and was on the verge of crashing.

Seeing this, Marlee, despite his disdain for Hydra, felt the need to protect Wanda from witnessing his cold side.

In an instant, he soared into the air, transforming back to his original appearance. He flew up, caught the fuselage, rescued the occupants, and tossed them roughly in front of Wanda.

"These guys are Hydra. Keep an eye on them and hand them over to Nick Fury later," Marlee instructed Wanda.

"Hydra? Why are they here?" Wanda asked in shock. Just then, screams erupted from the house ahead, with someone faintly calling for the police.

"Are they robbers?" Wanda asked solemnly.

"It's much more serious than a robbery," Marlee replied. His body shifted into reality as he walked directly through the wall into the house's courtyard.

At that moment, two figures—one red and one yellow—were locked in battle, and they happened to witness Scott being hurled out by the man in yellow.

Scott glanced at the table tennis racket nearby and suddenly devised a clever plan.

The man in yellow shrank his body and dashed out of the room. Even in his smaller form, his strength remained unchanged, though his mass was evidently reduced. Marlee couldn't help but think that quantum technology was just too much bullshit—completely unscientific!

Scott seized the racket and swung it forcefully at the man in the yellow shirt. The small figure was instantly sent flying, crashing into a street lamp. A series of clicks and flashes followed, momentarily silencing everything.

Marlee observed the two combatants, amused; it was reminiscent of a playful fight in Lilliput—sheer entertainment.

Scott appeared to regain his composure and turned to reassure the family, "It's okay!"

Scott's eyes widened as he spotted Marlee, the peculiar man floating in mid-air.

"Who are you?" Scott shouted in surprise, his expression shifting to one of alertness. Although he was aware of the Avengers, he had just been released from prison a few days prior, so he was unfamiliar with Marlee, the new Avenger.

"I am Vision, an Avenger, Scott." Marlee flew over the swimming pool, gesturing to the family nearby to call the police, and slowly floated toward Scott.

"Do you know me?" Scott asked incredulously. Despite having recently stolen from the Avengers and clashing with Falcon Sam, he couldn't shake the feeling that the Avengers were aware of this. He feared they might teach him a lesson.

"It's not because of that incident; I just happened to run into you. I know your information from what I have stored in my brain," Marlee reassured Scott, urging him to relax.

"Hands up! Don't move!"

At that moment, two police officers entered, pointing their pistols at both men.

Scott turned, and one of the officers, recognizing him, exclaimed, "Scott?"

"Paxton? You have to listen to me..." Scott realized that the officer was his ex-wife's current husband and his daughter's stepfather, a policeman—everything he was not, being a thief.

In an instant, the other officer pulled the trigger, firing a bullet.

Seeing the bullet hurtling toward Scott, Marlee ducked in front of him.

*Boom!*

The bullet struck Marlee and clattered to the ground, creating an electric sound.

"Why did you shoot?" Paxton shouted angrily at his partner.

"That guy looks suspicious. I was worried he was in danger..." The officer gestured toward Scott and Marlee.

"This guy looks familiar. Where have I seen him before?" Paxton scrutinized Marlee's face. Although he found it strange, there was a sense of familiarity.

"Vision! Are you okay?" Wanda entered from outside, her expression revealing concern for Marlee.

"Are you the Avengers?" Paxton finally connected the dots.

"Newcomers to Avengers—Vision and Wanda!"

As American citizens, they were well aware of the Avengers' names, their fame echoing across the globe.

"Huh~~ I thought I was going to die!" Scott took a deep breath, feeling somewhat relieved.

"What are the Avengers doing here?"

"It's just a coincidence; we..." Marlee hesitated, pointing to himself and Wanda, "We're here for Scott—to invite him to join the Avengers."

Everyone present stared at him in astonishment.

"He stole our things, so he either joins the Avengers and makes amends, or he goes to jail. I think Scott would prefer not to choose the latter," Marlee stated with an expressionless face.

"So that's it..." Paxton glanced at Scott with sympathy, realizing how brave it was to steal from the Avengers!

"Then why are you here?" Paxton asked, eyeing Scott's unusual attire. "A helicopter crashed nearby. Does that have anything to do with you?"

"What a coincidence..." Scott evaded Paxton's questioning gaze, whistling innocently.

"Oh, by the way, that guy... Darren, he did it... right here." Scott pointed to the light bulb in the corner of the room, where Darren, the man in yellow, had been.

As everyone focused on the light bulb, the two policemen approached, their eyes widening in surprise.

"Look, I didn't do it," Scott declared, hands on his hips. "I defeated the villain myself. I can't believe it..."

Paxton and the other officer exchanged glances, drawing out their handcuffs and aiming them at Scott. "There's no one in there... and no ants, Scott. Just turn yourself in, and I'll advocate for a lighter punishment."

Scott was stunned, shouting, "He's right there! Can't you see him? It's..."

Scott pulled away from the two officers, peering intently at the light bulb, but there was no sign of Darren.

"He is..."

Wanda tugged on Marlee's cloak, her brow furrowed in confusion.

"His enemy is gone," Marlee paused, "just a little guy who can grow big and small—a third-rate villain, nothing to worry about."

"Oh," Wanda replied cutely.

Scott continued to argue, attempting to convince the police of his claims, but Paxton remained unconvinced, warning, "Scott, you don't want to upset Cassie. You wouldn't want her to know that her father is not just a thief, but a robber as well. Turn yourself in."

"I said no..." Scott struggled to articulate his defense, his voice rising with frustration.

"Wait... Cassie!"

Suddenly, Scott realized something important. He grasped Paxton's arm anxiously. " Cassie! Cassie is in danger. Darren knows she's my daughter... We need to find her now!"

Paxton's expression shifted to concern, responding seriously, "Scott, I'm now Cassie's father. I know you love her deeply, but it's best not to make light of this situation!"

Interlude Ends

Looking at the two people arguing, Wanda really didn't understand the twists and turns in the relationship between the two men.

"Hey, what are those two talking about?" Wanda asked softly, glancing at Marlee's profile beside her. At that moment, he had changed back to his human appearance, looking just like an ordinary person.

"None of this matters; we just need to follow him," Marlee said, pointing at Scott.

The girl nodded and gently grabbed Marlee's arm.

Here, the dispute between the two seemed to have ended, and they appeared to have reached some sort of consensus.

"Let's go, Scott. I'll make you give up this time," Paxton dismissed his colleagues, and he and Scott got into the police car and headed home.

Just as he was about to close the car door, a hand blocked it, preventing him from shutting it.

Marlee's face appeared in front of him. "Do you mind giving us a ride? I think we can help."

Scott and Paxton exchanged glances and agreed to invite them into the car. After all, with two Avengers, success was likely.

The atmosphere in the car was awkward, with everyone remaining silent.

Soon, they arrived at their destination.

"So many police cars!" Wanda exclaimed in surprise.

"Maggie!" Paxton shouted.

"That guy, a weirdo, has taken Cassie!"

Upon hearing this, Scott burst into the house.

Wanda attempted to follow but was stopped by Marlee, who shook his head and said, "He has it under control."

Hesitating for a moment, Wanda ultimately chose to trust Marlee.

Inside the room, little Cassie faced the strange man in a yellow shirt before her, saying a little scared, "Are you a monster?"

"Do I look like a weirdo?" Darren replied softly, stepping forward and hugging the little girl. It was hard to imagine his intentions were innocent.

"Let her go!"

Darren turned his head to look at Scott, who had arrived. Cassie in his arms asked, "Dad, is that you?"

"Hi! Little Peanut!" Scott responded with a smile and then said to Darren, "You should find someone your own size."

In an instant, Scott threw a shrinking device at Darren, which caused him to shrink down to size. This distraction allowed Peanut to escape from the room.

Scott shrank himself instantly and began to fight with Darren on a toy train.

Even with the assistance of a group of ants, Darren's equipment was more advanced, equipped with lasers that shot towards Scott.

The two were locked in a back-and-forth battle, constantly throwing toys at each other, but the toys were just that—too flimsy to cause any real harm. A simple throw sent Thomas the Tank Engine flying across the room.

Scott kept tossing magnifiers at Darren, but they were easily deflected. One hit an ant, and the other struck a small train, piercing the roof directly.

Paxton couldn't remain passive at this sight. Though he was a stepfather, he loved his wife and daughter deeply. This was a father's responsibility.

"I'm here to save you, Cassie!" he shouted. Suddenly, an ant larger than a dog appeared in front of him, causing him to slip down the stairs in fright.

The ant broke through the window, alarming Maggie and the police present. They pointed at the ant and exclaimed, "Your dog is so willful!"

Wanda watched as the ants grew to enormous sizes, holding Marlee's hand in surprise. "That's..."

"Quantum technology is amazing!" Marlee said, a smile flashing across his face. Perhaps he could use Pym particles to return to his original world. Although the hope was slim, it wasn't impossible.

Wanda nodded, unsure if she fully understood.

Darren fired randomly at Scott's position, wreaking havoc in the room.

"Stop! I'm a police officer!" As Paxton yelled out the classic TV drama line, Darren knocked the gun out of his hand without looking back. He failed to notice that Scott was using this opportunity to climb onto his back.

"No, it has to be smaller!"

Scott struggled to fit into Darren's suit.

"This is made of titanium alloy!" Darren exclaimed, throwing Scott away, and the two resumed fighting in the cramped space.

"Bang!" Scott was slammed against the wall and shrunk again.

"Where are you going?" Darren blocked Paxton and Cathy, lasers aimed at them.

Paxton protected Cathy behind him, glaring at Darren with a serious expression. He was determined to shield his daughter! He wouldn't hesitate to use his body as a shield.

Just as Darren was about to eliminate him, his equipment suddenly malfunctioned; his body flickered between solid and illusory, various parts shrinking uncontrollably.

"I love you, Cassie!"

Scott shrank himself down to a molecular state, sabotaging Darren's suit from the inside.

Until... he became smaller than a molecule...

Darren exploded, his fate unknown; whether he died or vanished, no one could tell.

"There's no movement anymore..." Wanda observed the quiet house, turning to Marlee.

"Hold on..."

Marlee's gaze seemed to penetrate the wall, revealing the scene inside.

Scott appeared to hear a woman's voice in the quantum realm, but it was too hazy for him to comprehend.

"Little Peanut!"

Scott suddenly awakened, inserting the amplifier into his suit and pressing the switch. Instantly, a tremendous storm erupted in the room, resembling a small black hole.

Scott's figure emerged from the chaos, embracing Cathy, his daughter's cute smile filling him with warmth.

"Okay, okay, the moments when parents and children reunite are always beautiful, Scott." Marlee finally entered the house. He chose not to interfere with Ant-Man's plot; after all, this was a vital part of time travel. Who could say what might go wrong? Their only chance to save everything hinged on the correct sequence of events.

"Who are you? Are you a bad person?" Little Peanut Cathy timidly hid behind Scott, blinking her big eyes and asking innocently.

As Wanda watched Cassie, something struck her heart inexplicably, and her eyes softened instantly. "She is so cute; how can there be such a lovely girl in the world?"

In that moment, the aura of maternal love enveloped Wanda. She gazed at Little Peanut's face with a gentle smile, unwilling to look away.

Marlee paid no mind to Wanda's maternal instinct and smiled at Scott. "I've just reported your existence to the captain. The captain likes you very much and hopes you can join the Avengers to contribute to world peace."

"Captain? Captain America?" Scott exclaimed, astonished, his mouth agape as he stammered.

"I... can I join... the Avengers? I can only... grow bigger and smaller... that's useless..."

"Don't say that, Scott. You are Mr. Key!"

Marlee patted Scott on the shoulder meaningfully, leading Scott to mistakenly believe he possessed untapped potential, filling him with excitement.

Marlee discreetly left the scene. It was better not to say too much; allowing the plot to unfold naturally was preferable.

"Let's go, Wanda. Wanda? Wanda?"

Marlee called her name twice but found her eyes fixated on Scott's daughter. He couldn't help but think, "This could end badly!"

Do women possess their own maternal love filter?

Marlee continued to shout a few more times, finally pulling Wanda's attention back.

He took Wanda's delicate hand, and together they left, satisfied.

15 Observer? !

"You bastard!"

"Brother! We were just going out to play; what are you doing?"

Wanda hugged Pietro's arm tightly, fearing that he would do something irrational and hurt himself.

The anger in Pietro's eyes almost burst forth. During a day of training, that bastard robot took his sister to San Francisco and stayed there for the night!

Pietro couldn't wait to fight to the death with Marlee now to keep this bastard away from his sister.

"Vision is a very good person and a very trustworthy comrade!"

"How could any of your comrades abduct you to stay in a hotel?"

When Wanda heard this, her face instantly turned red with embarrassment. Seeing her sister's expression, Pietro shouted, "I have a little girl growing up."

"What are you talking about!" Wanda's face turned red with embarrassment. In desperation, she unconsciously used her own energy to throw Pietro away, sending him crashing into the corridor over ten meters away.

"Ah! Brother!"

Wanda shouted in fright.

Poor Pietro, he may have to stay in bed for a while again...

**Kamateki**

Marlee was sitting face to face with the Ancient One at this moment.

"Didn't you do a good job in Sokovia?"

The Ancient One took a gentle sip of her hot tea, the clear fragrance spreading into Marlee's nose, but he couldn't smell it. He simply said to the Ancient One with some disappointment, "They are automatically correcting history, and nothing I can do can change it."

"Then you choose not to change?" The Ancient One gently set down her teacup, a smile on her lips. "Don't be anxious, young man; failure is inevitable, and no one can guarantee that they will succeed 100%."

"Ha! Thank you, Master, for your advice!" Marlee replied with a change in demeanor. "Master, the things I left with you..."

"It has been repaired." The Ancient One shook her head helplessly at this moment. This guy really dared to leave anything behind.

"Aren't you afraid that it will resurrect and plunge mankind into disaster again? Maybe New York is the next Sokovia."

"He doesn't have that much ability," Marlee smiled roguishly, his eyes instantly lighting up as he looked at Ultron, who slowly appeared from behind the Ancient One.

Rather than saying it is Ultron, it is better to say that it is just a body, an empty shell without any program. In the woods at that time, Ultron's last consciousness had been wiped out by Marlee using the Mind Stone, leaving no possibility of resurrection. But his body was a valuable asset.

Marlee looked at the brand new body, shining with a black-gold light, with even magic runes faintly visible on it. It was obvious that this was the masterpiece of the Ancient One.

Marlee gazed at this body, recalling the scene of Infinite Ultron killing everyone in his mind. He was so excited that he could hardly control himself.

"With this, I can also achieve Infinite Vision, and even with the blessing of magic, I will be more powerful than Infinite Ultron!"

"Do you want to take it away now?" the Ancient One said softly.

"No, no, now is not the time..." Marlee chose to shake his head at this moment. If he suddenly returned in Ultron's body, he might arouse the Captain's distrust. After all, he had not told them. Hiding Ultron's body secretly would only make them suspicious of Marlee's intentions.

"Then keep this thing with me for now. When you need it, you can come and get it at any time, but then I probably won't be the one to give it to you."

The Ancient One smiled. She had already anticipated her own death.

Marlee fell silent. He didn't have that much experience, nor did he possess extraordinary wisdom and talent. He also didn't have the boredom of living for hundreds of years; he couldn't understand the Ancient One's desire to die.

"Come on, young man, don't forget your true feelings!"

The Ancient One waved her hand, and a portal suddenly appeared, bringing Marlee back to where he was.

"The next plot is the civil war," Marlee sat on the sofa with a huge headache. With Baron Zemo as an unstable factor, Tony would learn the truth about the deaths of the Howards sooner or later, and a conflict with the Captain was inevitable. How to resolve it was a problem.

Marlee only felt a headache. Could it be that this civil war could only be avoided by defeating one side?

You know, because of the split between Tony and the Captain, Thanos later invaded the Earth. The heroes were undoubtedly defeated, and they died on the spot. Such a future cannot be repeated in this universe!

"Zemo..." This dangerous guy had not yet shown his true colors, and Marlee had nothing he could do about him. After all, Zemo was a soldier and a combat hero with no illegal record. Marlee had no reason to treat such a dangerous guy like him. If a good law-abiding citizen were arrested and acted without permission, he would be severely criticized. After all, this is not a cartoon.

"It's so annoying!" Marlee shouted sadly to the sky. He was really not good at using his brain.

"Outlander...I need your help..."

A pair of huge, shining eyes appeared behind Marlee at this moment, and a low whisper quietly echoed in his ears. Just as Marlee was about to look back in surprise, his body suddenly disappeared, like a burst of breeze blowing him away gently.

"Vision! Vision! Are you there? I heard your voice..." Wanda knocked on the door a few times. When she saw there was no movement inside, her brows suddenly furrowed, and she shouted louder. After seeing that there was really no response, Wanda broke in anxiously.

"Vision!" Unfortunately, she came a step too late.

**Kamateki**

The Ancient One was holding a bowl of hot tea in her hand. She seemed to sense something, and her hand moved momentarily, causing the tea to spill from the edge of the bowl and onto her hand.

The Ancient One didn't seem to feel the heat; she just paused, looking through the window, as if she had traveled through eternity, lost in thought.

"Here comes...the multiverse..."

She murmured, ignoring the spill, simply bowing her head to drink her tea.

Marlee felt dizzy, as if he had been stuffed into a flush toilet and pressed the button ten times.

Marlee immediately fell to his knees, feeling light-headed and wanting to vomit. Logically speaking, a robot shouldn't have such a reaction, but...

A large head slowly appeared in Marlee's sight. A pair of glowing eyes locked onto Marlee's body, and his powerful aura was unmistakable.

"Watcher!"

Marlee looked at the newcomer in disbelief. He was an observer who silently monitored the civilizations of the universe!

But at this moment, he was looking at Marlee in embarrassment, speaking in a pleading voice: "I need your help!"

"This..." Marlee was completely confused and didn't understand how the hypothetical plot could appear now.

Only at this moment did he realize that his body was not Vision's vibranium body but his original human body!

Just when Marlee was shocked by his changes, a dark and thin figure slowly emerged from the shadows behind him.

"Things are getting interesting!"

Three mysterious and evil eyes stared closely at Marlee...

Here's the revised chapter with all the changes you requested:

**16 Marlee's Multiverse Team**

"Are you kidding..."

Marlee looked in shock at the embarrassed observer in front of him and the dark Doctor Strange who slowly emerged from the shadows. He felt as if he had transcended into a fabricated Marvel universe.

"Is it possible that I am traversing through a hypothetical world?"

"Here comes an interesting guy..."

Dark Strange said with an evil smile, eyeing Marlee's body, his three eyes flashing with a scarlet light.

"You are not from this multiverse; how did you break through the wall?!"

Dark Strange moved closer to Marlee inch by inch, several enormous octopus tentacles extending from behind him. They were sticky, disgusting, and utterly unknown...

Marlee rudely dodged Dark Strange's "intimate contact." He knew that although Dark Strange had succumbed to darkness, he was not inherently a bad person, let alone a villain; his behavior was simply too extreme.

"Who are you? What's the purpose of bringing me here? When can I go back?" Even though he was already aware of their intention, he still felt compelled to ask and go through the necessary procedures.

Marlee feigned ignorance, stating that while he knew these two individuals posed no immediate danger, he had to remain cautious, especially around such superpowered beings.

Marlee believed that Vision himself was strong enough, but in front of these two, he felt utterly dwarfed. Dark Strange's ability to survive in a collapsing universe was enough to illustrate his power.

Dark Strange stared at Marlee with an expression of pity, as if he had stumbled upon some supreme treasure. After speaking, he reached out to capture him.

Marlee felt a tickle on his forehead, and after a moment's thought, a laser shot out, hitting Dark Strange's tentacles and forcing him to halt.

Marlee was genuinely surprised by this. How could he wield Vision's powers when facing these two?

Neither he nor Dark Strange spoke, but Dark Strange suddenly furrowed his brows, pondering what kind of sinister scheme he was concocting.

"Alright, we are comrades now. If you want to do anything, wait until the matter is resolved. You can handle it yourself..." The observer interrupted them, his colossal head seemingly incomplete, as if submerged in water.

"We have a terrifying enemy threatening the multiverse, one that has already obliterated one universe and is moving toward others."

The observer turned to gaze at Marlee and said, "And that enemy has a significant connection to you."

"That enemy is Ultron, an Ultron with a perfect body!"

Really!

Marlee's heart sank suddenly. Even though he was mentally prepared, a wave of panic washed over him.

"That... Ultron..." Marlee murmured, suddenly frozen in place; he genuinely didn't know what to do.

In the original timeline, it was Natasha and the Zola virus from the original universe that posed a substantial threat to Ultron. But if there was even the slightest miscalculation, Ultron could unleash devastation upon other multiverses. With the power of six Infinity Stones, even a being of Sky Father-level strength might struggle to intervene...

Marlee felt speechless at the thought. A being of such immense power had been successfully invaded by a trivial virus. If one were to claim this wasn't a plot twist, who would believe it?

"According to what you said, he possesses the power to obliterate universes, so what's the purpose of all your efforts in searching for reinforcements? Why not seek out those from the Celestials or other top powerhouses in the universe? Why come to me?"

Marlee questioned this. He truly didn't understand why the observers didn't approach those cosmic giants for assistance; it seemed less efficient to seek out some ordinary powerful beings.

The two were momentarily stunned, exchanging silent glances, neither daring to speak first.

Marlee felt as though Dark Strange's expression darkened further and the observer's head swelled larger. He wondered if he had unintentionally suppressed them with his words...

"All of this... is traceable... A beam of light will not stop halfway; it will shoot to the end..." The observer rambled on about various matters, though Marlee couldn't grasp the meaning. Fortunately, Dark Strange spoke up just in time to ease the tension.

"It's fate; don't worry, we will win in the end."

Sure enough, these two had already concluded that this battle would ultimately lead to victory. The Observer had not revealed himself until he had convened the multiverse team and waited for Ultron's defeat before emerging for autopsy. What a sneaky old trickster!

Marlee silently berated the two for their deceitful tactics that violated the principles of cooperation, even as he couldn't help but admire their prowess.

"Alright, it's time to assemble, everyone!" The observer waved his hand, and Marlee suddenly felt enveloped by a mysterious force, only to be transported to an unknown universe.

"Ah~~~"

Just as Marlee reacted, a familiar and boisterous shout suddenly echoed in his ears. He was so startled that he instinctively covered his ears, only to realize that they were gone!

Marlee looked at himself in astonishment. His appearance from his previous life had reverted to that of Vision. Beside him stood several visitors from other universes.

Captain Carter, Black Panther Star-Lord, King Panther, Gamora, Dark Doctor Strange, and...

Marlee raised his eyelids to behold the dimwitted Thor, the God of Thunder. He couldn't help but compare him to the Thor from his own universe and found them both equally amusing.

Dark Strange explained to everyone what this place was, which helped ease some of their nervousness.

At this moment, the observer finally appeared.

"What's the purpose of kidnapping us here?" Captain Carter inquired with a frown.

"To save the universe?" Gamora interjected.

"You are the last hope to save the entire universe!"

"That's odd!" Marlee silently cursed in his heart. Among the multiverse, observers were the most skilled deceivers. With just a few words, he had manipulated everyone into fighting for him without offering any reward. Meanwhile, he effortlessly reaped benefits from Dark Strange, something the observer had failed to accomplish.

"Alright, Loki!" Thor, the imbecile, jested after downing a glass of beer, "Stop making such silly jokes. I want to go find Jane and spend a wonderful night with her!"

Thor believed it was one of Loki's pranks, so he opened the door to the bar as he spoke.

"Ah~~~"

As soon as the door swung open, an immense suction force nearly yanked Thor out of the room. Luckily, he managed to grasp the doorframe in time, preventing him from ending up like Loki when he was thrown.

The foolish Thor's hair flailed wildly, resembling a goose about to be slaughtered as he shouted at the top of his lungs. Eventually, he used Thor's hammer to pull himself back into the room.

He closed the door, shock plastered on his face as he gasped for air.

Next, the observer elaborated on the enemy they were about to face, and everyone grew alarmed upon hearing the details.

"Perhaps I can steal something from him!" Black Panther Star-Lord suggested eagerly. As the universe's greatest adventurer, T'Challa outperformed Quill in many aspects. Not only did he possess an adventurous spirit, but he was also exceptionally intelligent, even more so than the original Star-Lord.

"We believe the way to stop Ultron is to separate his body from the stones."

"But Ultron might be hiding somewhere in the multiverse."

"Yes."

"And he has an army of robots backing him!"

"I'm afraid so."

"And he possesses six Infinity Stones."

"She's got a point," Dark Strange glanced at the observers.

"I never claimed this mission would be easy!"

"This is outright suicide!" King Panther exclaimed in frustration, covering his head. He couldn't fathom how he and these freaks could possibly defeat a god!

Marlee observed the actions of the visitors from the parallel universe around him and noted how their personalities differed significantly from those of their counterparts in this universe.

Undoubtedly, Captain Carter was merely a replica of Captain America; T'Challa had more imaginative ideas, yet most of his thoughts were genuinely reliable; this Gamora looked formidable and held plenty of tricks up her sleeve, wielding Thanos' double blades, making her another ridiculously powerful peer; as for Thor...

Marlee glanced at the blond man with an insatiable appetite, crying out for food, and felt speechless. Thor appeared foolish in any universe, but the one in front of him was even more so.

After some drinks and food, they began to discuss strategies for combating Ultron.

"I don't think it's necessary to go through such trouble!"

Just as the discussion among them heated up, Marlee stood up and spoke.

While he didn't want to dampen their enthusiasm, their proposed method seemed utterly futile. Ultimately, it wouldn't be the virus sent by the Widow that prevailed.

"Who are you?" Thor retorted, his wise and powerful plan dismissed by the red and green oddball before him. He laughed, appearing utterly foolish.

"Eh..." Marlee truly didn't wish to engage in banter with Thor. Although this Thor was marginally stronger than the Thor in the main universe, after traversing for such a long time, he had adapted to this body. He was confident that brushing off Thor would likely yield no problems.

"Gamora, your Infinity Stone Crusher can only shatter the Infinity Stones of your universe. Each universe has its own set of stones; they are not identical!"

"As for the possibility of theft, even if you succeed once and manage to steal one Infinity Stone, Ultron would still possess five. That remains a power beyond our capacity. Additionally, it would raise his suspicions.

"And here, except for me, Strange, and Thor, the rest of you are ordinary people. I'm afraid you'll be reduced to ashes by him if you can't even get close to Ultron, let alone fight."

Marlee's words struck everyone. Indeed, apart from their large numbers, they couldn't compete with Ultron in other aspects, and Ultron even had more minions than they did!

"Then you should tell me your plan!" Thor replied, his face flushed and his neck thick with indignation. Mjölnir in his hand was already crackling with electricity. If Marlee couldn't come up with any good ideas, he'd have to let Mjölnir make contact with Marlee's face.

"It's very simple. No matter how powerful he is, he's just a program. In this case, we just need to delete this program!"

There was silence in the bar. They had been trying to figure out how they could fight against a god, but they had overlooked the fact that the god itself could be eliminated.

It's like trying to win by stealing a house; if you engage in a team fight against an enemy with a huge economic advantage, the final result will be nothing more than your team being obliterated, and then...

"Then what should we do? There isn't a scientist here!" Tchalla asked worriedly.

"Ha..." Marlee chuckled. "You just need to protect me."

Marlee was eager to test his theory. He actually wanted to see the expressions on their faces when they encountered Ultron. It would probably be entertaining!

"Observer, take us to Ultron's location."

4-Jewel Vision!

As soon as Marlee emerged from the portal, he saw Natasha holding a gun and observing the group of unknown individuals with caution. Fortunately, after Captain Carter's explanation, Natasha relaxed her guard and joined the team.

At that moment, a loud noise echoed in the sky. The barriers between the universes were being shattered. The sky resembled a mirror, fracturing into countless pieces.

"Natasha! Where is the Zola virus? That's our only hope!"

Seeing this, Marlee had no time to hesitate and asked Natasha. After all, if they truly wanted to fight Ultron, their chances of winning were slim.

"It's..." Before Natasha could finish her sentence, she was suddenly lifted into the air by a force that seemed to appear out of nowhere.

Ultron extended his right hand, attempting to snatch the gem back from Natasha's grasp. Marlee sensed the danger and activated the Mind Gem on his forehead, firing a laser that severed Ultron's right arm.

Natasha remained unharmed under Dark Strange's protection.

"Natasha! Go find the Zola virus! That's our only hope!" Marlee urged her, while he and Thor confronted Ultron.

"It's with me!" Natasha retrieved the data arrow from her pocket, ready to hand it to Marlee when a sudden laser sliced the arrow into pieces.

"I will not allow you to fight against me!" Ultron's forehead glowed ominously, clearly the source of the attack just now. He surveyed the group of "ants" below him. He had already destroyed several universes, and the resistance he faced was merely a rabble.

"Looks like we're in for a big fight!" Marlee observed the destroyed arrow and realized the situation had spiraled out of control. However, he wasn't overly concerned; he didn't believe the Observers would simply watch them perish. "It seems we can only separate Ultron from the gem first!"

With that, Marlee and Thor charged forward. In facing this monster, only the two of them could withstand Ultron's onslaught. The others were too fragile, and even with protective spells, they would still struggle to mount effective attacks.

"For Las Vegas!" Thor struggled to swing mjolnir, sending a thunderbolt the thickness of a barrel crashing into Ultron's body. Unfortunately, it had no effect, leaving no marks at all.

Marlee's laser struck Ultron as well. He understood that this was nearly futile, but he needed to buy time and create opportunities for his comrades.

Ultron raised his hand slightly, effortlessly blocking their combined attack.

"The ants wish to challenge the gods!" Ultron decided he would no longer toy with them. The five gems embedded in his body ignited, releasing a surge of energy that hurled the multiverse team back. Fortunately, thanks to the doctor's protective spell, everyone remained safe.

"If this continues, we will surely be defeated!" Carter lowered her shield, a stern expression on her pretty yet fierce face. Natasha stood beside her, both women holding shields and adopting fighting stances.

"I have a plan!"

Marlee was knocked aside by Ultron's hand and landed beside the others. Gamora, T'Challa, and the Golden Leopard quickly took their positions and began a fierce battle with Ultron.

Marlee stood up and addressed the doctor, "I need you to mobilize reinforcements, go to my universe, and find the Ancient One!"

Dark Strange continued casting spells with his hands to aid the fighters at the forefront. While maintaining a serious expression as he monitored the battle, he took a moment to respond to Marlee.

"If I'm not here, and the protective spell is broken, you will have no power to fight back!"

"It's better to fight valiantly than to be beaten!" Marlee looked at the doctor, "You are the strongest Strange now. We can't defeat Ultron, but we have a way..."

"You mean..." Dark Strange turned to Marlee, his serious expression mirroring Marlee's, "I hope you're right..."

Dark Strange opened a portal and departed from this universe.

Marlee smiled, watching the fighters engaged in the aerial battle and joining the fray instantly, leaving only Carter and Natasha on the ground.

"We can't help at all."

"No, a qualified warrior always seizes the opportunity." Carter smiled at Natasha, "My friend, let's fight together."

"Okay!" Natasha replied, a slight smile forming on her lips, and the two rushed towards Ultron with their shields raised.

"Ah~~~~"

This was just one of the countless times Thor had been tossed aside. Fortunately, thanks to his Asgardian physique and the protective spell, he sustained no serious injuries, though embarrassment was inevitable.

Marlee was choked by Ultron, and as he witnessed the tchalla being tossed into the ruins, he silently complained.

"We are the same kind. Surrender to me, and you can survive...conquer the multiverse alongside me!"

Ultron's cold, electronic voice echoed. In fact, his tone was now quite human-like, though still somewhat hoarse.

"Do you know? The Ultron of my universe also said this," Marlee retorted, staring into Ultron's face that mirrored his own. "Then we defeated him!"

"Oh? It seems you've been assimilated by humans."

"No! Humans are brave!"

Marlee suddenly erupted in laughter.

Ultron was about to erase Marlee's consciousness when he seemed to notice something. As he turned around, a shield emblazoned with the symbol of freedom struck him squarely in the face.

"Well said! Human beings are brave!"

Captain Carter was flung from the air by T'Challa, and the impact of her shield staggered Ultron. Before he could react, another shield struck him sharply on the back of the head.

Natasha was thrown by Thor, and together, Carter and Natasha launched their attacks on Ultron, catching him off guard.

"For Odin's beard!" Despite repeated failures, Thor, the reckless warrior, pressed forward, shielding his teammates. He soared high into the sky, mjolnir crackling with lightning in his grip, causing the sky to resemble a tempest, with countless lightning bolts swirling and howling...

As Marlee observed this, he too fired a laser from Ultron's control and shouted, "T'Challa!"

"I bet he's never seen an alien magnet!" T'Challa appeared out of nowhere, hurling a super-strong magnet at Ultron—an item he had snatched from the Kree during his predatory exploits. It had the capacity to temporarily absorb a small spacecraft.

The killmonger burst into the air, donning T'Challa's propellers on its feet, and barreled Ultron down to the ground. Gamora had been waiting for this moment, wielding the Tyrant's double blades, and she struck Ultron solidly on the armor, severing the Reality Gem from it.

"Get out of here!" Marlee shouted to everyone.

At that moment, Thor summoned the power of thunder. With the roar of Asgard's great prince, the thunder from above carried immense force. As Mjolnir descended, it struck Ultron with tremendous impact.

Suddenly, lightning flashed everywhere, and thunder roared deafeningly, transforming the area into a tempestuous sea of thunder.

...

"Did it work?" Natasha gazed at the silent, charred wasteland and sank to her knees, staring blankly into the distance. Even if they succeeded, what did it matter? She had no home.

Marlee, unlike the others, fixed his serious gaze on the heart of the ruins. Ultron was not easily vanquished. The villain who lacked a presence in the film had finally revealed himself in this animated chaos.

"You... truly surprised me..."

Suddenly, Ultron's voice emerged from the ruins, his unpleasant electronic tone filling the ears of those present. Slowly, his body began to float into the air, resembling a god as he looked down upon the insignificant beings beneath him.

"Thor, can you strike him with your thunder again?"

"I swear, I will unleash the greatest thunderbolt of my life!"

At that moment, despair enveloped everyone. They had never felt so powerless before. They had survived every crisis until now, but this time...

"Pleasure meeting you. I fear I won't have such dependable comrades next time..." Natasha lowered her head, smiling helplessly.

"The people of Asgard fearlessly meet death on the battlefield!" Thor clutched his hammer tightly, a goofy grin on his face. His laughter, infectious, spread among everyone.

"It seems that someone is missing," Ultron remarked, surveying the "ants" below. At that moment, his armor bore numerous dents, and he could not restore it without the Reality Stone.

He also noticed that Dark Strange was absent, but that didn't concern him. He probably fled the battle. Humans were such creatures.

"You should be thanking me...thank the gods for the gift...thank you..."

"I really appreciate what Vision said..."

While Ultron delivered his impassioned speech, a portal slowly opened behind everyone. They turned around to see Dark Strange stepping through with a smile, lifting his head to gaze at Ultron, who hovered above them.

"Human beings are brave!"

"Now everyone is here," Ultron dismissed Dark Strange's words, thinking that more participants would merely require a bit more effort on his part.

"You're finally back." Marlee looked at the calm Dark Strange and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Yes, after negotiating with the Ancient One, it was quite difficult to spare some words." Dark Strange responded coolly, though Marlee sensed he was hiding something, his expression betraying an oddity.

Forget it, Marlee shook his head and soared into the air, positioning himself on the same level as Ultron.

Dark Strange cast a spell, and a layer

 of protection enveloped everyone.

"I'll explain everything later!"

"Okay!"

"This is the only chance!" Marlee shouted, holding the Mind Gem above his head, gathering his strength.

"Prepare!"

"Thor!"

"Charge!"

**18. 4-Gem Vision!**

As soon as Marlee emerged from the portal, he saw Natasha holding a gun and looking at the group of unknown individuals with vigilance. Fortunately, after Captain Carter's explanation, Natasha let down her guard and joined the team of people.

At this moment, there was a loud noise in the sky. The barriers between the universes were being broken down. The sky resembled a mirror, shattering into pieces.

"Natasha! Where is the Zola virus? That's our only hope!"

Seeing this, Marlee had no time to hesitate and asked Natasha. After all, if they truly wanted to fight Ultron, their chances of winning were quite slim.

"It's..." Before Natasha could finish her words, she was caught in the sky by a force that appeared out of thin air.

Ultron stretched out his right hand, trying to snatch the gem back from Natasha's grasp. Marlee sensed something was amiss, and the Mind Gem on his forehead immediately activated a laser, severing Ultron's right arm.

Natasha was also safe and sound under the protection of Dark Strange.

"Natasha! Go find the Zola virus! That's our only hope!" Marlee looked at Natasha, who was already safe, and urged her while he and Thor confronted Ultron.

"It's with me!" Natasha retrieved the data arrow from her arm and was about to hand it to Marlee when a sudden laser cut the arrow into pieces.

"I will not allow you to fight against me!" Ultron's forehead flickered slightly. It was evident that he was the one who launched the attack just now. From his elevated position, Ultron surveyed the group below, knowing he had already destroyed several universes and that those resisting him were merely rabble-rousers.

"Looks like there's going to be a big fight!" Marlee observed the arrow being destroyed and realized that the situation was spiraling out of control, but he didn't worry too much. He didn't believe that the observers would let them die, "It seems we can only separate Ultron and the gem first!"

With that, Marlee and Thor charged forward. Only they could block Ultron's assault; the others were too fragile, and even with a protective spell, they would still struggle to land effective attacks.

"For Las Vegas!" Thor swung Stormbreaker with all his might, and the barrel-thick thunder struck Ultron directly. Unfortunately, it had no effect and left not even a scratch.

Marlee's laser also hit Ultron. He understood that such efforts were nearly futile, but he just needed to buy time and give his comrades a chance.

Ultron raised his hand slightly, effortlessly blocking the combined assault from the two.

"The ants dare to challenge the gods!" Ultron decided not to toy with them any longer. The five gems embedded in his body lit up, releasing a surge of energy that sent the multiverse team sprawling. Fortunately, thanks to the doctor's protective spell, everyone was safe.

"If this continues, we will surely be defeated!" Carter lowered her shield, a stern expression on her pretty yet tough face. Natasha stood side by side with her, both holding shields and assuming a fighting stance.

"I have a way!"

Marlee was knocked away by Ultron's hand and fell beside his companions. Gamora, T'Challa, and the Killmonger quickly took up their positions, engaging in a fierce battle with Ultron.

Marlee stood up and said to the doctor: "I need you to move reinforcements, go to my universe, and find Master Ancient One!"

Dark Strange continued casting spells with his hands to assist those fighting in the front lines. While focusing on the battle with a stern expression, he took a moment to respond to Marlee.

"If I'm not here and the protection spell is broken, you will have no power to fight back!"

"It's better to fight hard than to be beaten!" Marlee glanced at the doctor's face, "You are the strongest Strange now. We can't defeat Ultron, but we have a plan..."

"You mean..." Dark Strange turned his head and locked eyes with Marlee's serious expression, "I hope you're right..."

Dark Strange opened a portal and left this universe.

Marlee smiled as he observed the people battling in the sky, joining the fray instantly, leaving only Carter and Natasha on the ground.

"We can't help at all."

"No, a qualified warrior always seizes the opportunity." Carter smiled at Natasha, "My best friend, let's go together."

"Okay!" Natasha lifted the corners of her mouth slightly, and the two charged toward Ultron, shields in hand.

"Ah~~~~"

This was the countless time Thor had been thrown away. Fortunately, thanks to his Asgardian physique and the protective spell, he did not sustain any substantial damage, though the embarrassment was unavoidable.

Marlee was choked by Ultron, and as he watched the golden leopard being tossed into the ruins, he secretly complained in his heart.

"We are the same kind. Surrender to me, and you can survive... Conquer the multiverse with me!"

Ultron's eerie electronic voice echoed. In truth, his voice now resembled that of a human, albeit much hoarser.

"Do you know? The Ultron of my universe also said this," Marlee glared at Ultron, whose face was an exact replica of his own, "Then we defeated him!"

"Oh? It seems you have been assimilated by humans."

"No! Humans are brave!"

Marlee suddenly burst into laughter.

Ultron was about to erase Marlee's consciousness when he suddenly noticed something. As he turned around, a shield emblazoned with the symbol of freedom struck him squarely in the face.

"Well said! Human beings are brave!"

Captain Carter had been propelled through the air by T'Challa, and the impact of the shield knocked Ultron off balance. Before he could react, another shield hit him firmly on the back of the head.

Natasha was thrown by Thor, and she and Carter launched their assault on Ultron, catching him off guard.

"For Odin's beard!" After numerous failures, Thor, in his reckless manner, still bravely moved forward, shielding his teammates, flying high into the sky, hammer crackling with lightning in his hand. The sky transformed into a thunderstorm, with countless lightning bolts swirling, howling and roaring...

As Marlee witnessed this, he fired a laser from Ultron's control, shouting loudly: "T'Challa!"

"I guess he has never seen an alien magnet!" T'Challa materialized out of nowhere, tossing a super-strong magnet onto Ultron, a device he had snatched from the Kree while hunting. It could temporarily absorb a small spacecraft.

The Leopard soared through the air, using T'Challa's propellers to drive Ultron down to the ground. Gamora, having been prepared, held the Tyrant's double blades and sliced into Ultron's armor, severing the Reality Gem from him.

"Leave quickly!" Marlee shouted to everyone.

At that moment, Thor's thunderous power was poised to strike. With the roar of the great prince of Asgard, the thunder from above seemed to carry immense force. As Mjolnir descended, it struck Ultron with tremendous force.

Suddenly, lightning flashed everywhere, and thunder rumbled loudly, transforming the area into a stormy sea.

...

"Did it succeed?" Natasha gazed at the soundless, charred wasteland, kneeling on the ground and staring blankly into the distance. Even if they succeeded, so what? She had no home.

Marlee was unlike the others. He surveyed the center of the ruins with a serious expression. Ultron was not easily vanquished. The villain with no presence in the movie finally found his form in the animation.

"You... truly surprised me..."

Suddenly, Ultron's voice emanated from the ruins, the unpleasant electronic sound filling the ears of everyone present. Then, his body slowly floated into the air, like a deity, looking down at the ants below.

"Thor, can you hit him with your thunder again?"

"I swear, I will unleash the largest thunderbolt of my life!"

At this moment, everyone fell into despair. They had never felt so powerless. They had survived countless crises before, but this time...

"Nice to meet you. I'm afraid I won't have such reliable comrades next time..." Natasha lowered her head and smiled helplessly.

"The people of Asgard will fearlessly perish on the battlefield!" Thor grasped the hammer tightly, his signature goofy grin on his face. Like an infectious disease, laughter spread among everyone.

"It seems someone is missing," Ultron observed the ants below. At this point, his armor bore numerous dents, unable to restore itself without the Reality Stone.

He also noticed that Dark Strange had vanished, but that was of little importance. He likely fled the battle; humans are such creatures.

"You should thank me... thank God for the gift... thank you..."

"I really appreciate what Vision said..."

While Ultron delivered a fervent speech, a portal gradually opened behind everyone. They turned around to see Dark Strange stepping out of the portal with a smile, raising his head to gaze at Ultron, who loomed above them.

"Human beings are brave!"

"Now everyone is here," Ultron disregarded Dark Strange's words, believing that more people would merely require a bit more effort.

"You're finally back." Marlee looked at the calm Dark Strange and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well, after negotiating with Master Ancient One, it was challenging to spare some words." Dark Strange said calmly, though Marlee sensed that he was concealing something, his expression somewhat unnatural.

Forget it, Marlee shook his head and flew high into the air, aligning himself with Ultron.

Dark Strange cast a spell, and a layer of golden light suddenly enveloped Marlee, wrapping him tightly Dark Strange cast a spell, and a layer of golden light suddenly appeared on Marlee's body, wrapping him tightly in it. Then the golden light slowly turned into substance, transforming into a pair of armor that shimmered with metallic luster. Everyone took a closer look; it looked exactly like the one on Ultron but without the Infinity Stones.

"Oh?" Ultron observed Marlee, who was gradually becoming more like him, and said, "It's useless; I have the power of four gems, and you only have one..."

"Who said he only has one?" T'Challa smiled as he stretched out his hand, revealing the Soul Gem that glowed with a strange orange light. Gamora also displayed the Reality Gem she had taken from Ultron. The two gems seemed to receive guidance, gently flying into the air and fitting into Marlee's armor.

"Even so, I have more than you..."

"Oh! Don't forget this one." Dark Strange interrupted Ultron and slowly revealed the Time Gem around his neck, which also flew towards Marlee.

As the four rays of light flashed, Marlee felt the majestic energy surging through his body and couldn't help but let out a scream of relief.

Marlee sensed the four gems on his body, and his gaze immediately shifted to Ultron, whose face was almost black with anger. He couldn't help but smile lightly at the corner of his mouth.

"Find someone as strong as you to practice with!"
