Chapter 63 - 1

Chapter 1: Transmigration, The Strongest Thunder God

Thor Odinson had transmigrated.

An ordinary college student about to graduate, he had neither faced the harsh realities of life nor experienced the classic trials needed for cliche transmigration. There had been no betrayal or catastrophic events before his journey.

At the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, when Iron Man snapped his fingers on the big screen, he lost consciousness.

When he awoke, he found himself in Asgard, attending a grand banquet.

"Hey, where did the guy in the back row go?"

"Who knows? Maybe he left early."

"Probably one of Thanos' jokes; they turned dust together."

"Ha ha—"

Originally, this was something to be thrilled about: becoming his favorite superhero, the son of Odin, the future king of Asgard, with a beloved fiancée, supportive siblings, and loving parents...

But Thor, familiar with the plot, knew how miserable his future would be—

His mother would die, his father would die, his close friends would die, his careless younger brother would finally become sensible and then die, and his older sister would nearly kill himself...

His girlfriend would be gone, his hammer would be gone, his eyes would be gone, his hair would be gone, his physique would be gone, Asgard would be gone, and after finally becoming the strongest Avenger, he would be immediately defeated by a female Marvel discount Saiyan.

During his father's reign, Asgard was a paradise envied by the entire universe.

Yet, under his rule, the foundation shrank by 90%, and the realm of the gods turned into a village.

The people of Asgard were indeed unfortunate; no wonder Heimdall would rather teleport the Hulk than himself...

Thinking of this, Thor couldn't help but shed tears.

It would have been better to become Iron Man.

He had searched through countless models, and when he was exhausted, he found a model married to an honest women.

If he was such a mess in Asgard, Odin would surely take his own skin...

Fortunately, it was still relatively early in this timeline. Odin and the Ancient One were both present, and though Thanos was confident, he wouldn't dare to fight two at once. According to Earth's timeline, it was now 1995, and the plot was at the point where "Captain Marvel" was about to begin.

If each superhero were a game character, he would be an ancient newcomer, but Carol Danvers would quickly reach the highest level. Thus, it was crucial to get to know her, exchange contact information, build a good relationship, and stay close.

Ugh, superhero—can you really call it staying close?

"Hey, congratulations to the host for successfully transmigrating. The superhero system has been activated! When the host interacts with a significant hero or villain target or something that may impact it, there is a chance to trigger a related task, with rewards for completion."

"Each target triggers a task at most once, and abandoning a task also consumes the number of attempts."

The sudden reminder made Thor shiver. What the heck? A system? Thor Odinson will rise! He immediately stood up excitedly, then remembered he was in public and quickly sat back down.

Loki, sitting next to him, watched his brother's odd behavior. He had been frowning but now sported a smirk. Knowing his brother was prone to antics, he rolled his eyes.

Thor calmed himself and looked at the system panel before him.

"Congratulations for triggering Thor-related tasks: Elegy of the Strongest - As the least favorable superhero and one of the strongest Avengers, every time Thor grows stronger, it is accompanied by significant pain. Please select one of the tasks to complete; rewards will be given for completing the task!"

"Task 1: Increase weight three times. Task reward: The strength of Thor in the Avengers : Endgame"

"Task 2: Challenge Thanos and kill Loki. Task reward: Stormbreaker."

"Task 3: Destroy Mjölnir and sacrifice an eye. Task reward: Awakening Ability—Thunder Control. Gain complete control over the thunder power within you, no longer relying on Mjölnir. (The hammer is just to help you control your power and focus; it is not the source of your strength. After losing Mjölnir, you will awaken the true power that belongs to you.)"

Thor stared at the task list, his mouth twitching.

He could not afford to lose Mjölnir. If it were destroyed, Odin would certainly have him skinned, not to mention losing an eye...

Though Stormbreaker was tempting, with just a weapon, it would be insufficient for a direct confrontation with Thanos. Furthermore, despite Loki being adopted, he was still considered family after all these years.

Thus, only option 1 remained. The system was indeed malicious toward him...

Fortunately, compared to the other two irreversible options, gaining weight could still be undone. At worst, he would have to be a vegetarian for a few more years... Thor resolved firmly.

"I choose Task 1: Increase weight three times."

Chapter 2: Failed Pickup

Beside him, Loki watched as Thor's expression changed, his face morphing into an assortment of emotions, as if he were a living emoji. Loki was about to comment when a soldier entered to deliver a report.

"Your Majesty, Lord Heimdallr has discovered an unknown intruder in Midgard, suspected to be connected to the Kree and Skrull. He sent me to inform you."

"Oh?" Odin said dismissively. "Neither the Kree nor the Skrull can make a significant impact. As for their conflict, it does not concern Asgard."

As the King of the Gods, Odin was privy to many secrets. The Earth, which nominally belonged to Asgard, was not as ordinary as it seemed. As long as Kamar-Taj existed, even if Ronan the Accuser arrived, it wouldn't pose a real threat.

The plot was unfolding! In this scenario, there were few benefits to be gained.

The Tesseract would eventually be brought to Asgard, and the advanced technology of the Kree was only superior relative to Earth's standards.

Although Asgard appeared medieval, its technological level was actually the most advanced in the entire universe due to being older than most current cosmic empires and combining magic.

Nevertheless, Thor was still planning to head there.

First, Earth would be the site of many significant future events.

Second, it was easier to build a good relationship with Captain Marvel, who had not yet awakened her full powers.

It was a challenging task.

He needed the communication device of captain Marvel, and get her standing in the front row as a meat shield during Ragnarök could be useful.

Moreover, he had another plan.

"Father, let me go to Midgard. As a member of the Nine Realms, if other forces intrude, we should at least make a statement."

Thor looked serious.

On Earth, a mountain road in the western United States.

A woman in a leather jacket looked despondently at her broken-down motorcycle.

"Hi, beautiful lady, need any help?"

A luxurious sports car pulled up beside her, and a young man inside whistled and addressed her. He scrutinized the woman.

Captain Marvel's appearance wasn't bad at all. The reason she was often called "Auntie" was mainly due to her uniform and style... Just like how the rebellious girl of today was far more appealing than the black and green outfits worn by men in the past...

The young man was, of course, Thor, who had been tailing Carol Danvers since she left the subway station and had also tampered with the motorcycle.

Carol Danvers considered it for a moment and then got into the car.

"The car's not bad," she remarked. At speeds exceeding two hundred miles per hour, with her hair blowing in the wind, the frustration caused by the various inconveniences on this backward planet over the past few days faded somewhat.

"That's..." Thor began to speak when he suddenly felt a warning. He swiftly jumped out of the car as a fiery energy blast struck the door beside him.

"Who the hell are you?" Carol demanded, her hands glowing with energy. Thor's display of power was clearly beyond what a mere playboy could possess.

Thor summoned Mjölnir, which materialized in his hand. He asked curiously, "How did you figure it out? Did I make some mistake?"

"Your stalking is too obvious. I noticed you a long time ago. And your pickup game is too outdated," Carol responded, firing several energy blasts. Thor deflected them with Mjölnir.

"Boom—boom—boom—" The two engaged in a brief skirmish. Thor's lightning was neutralized by Carol's energy blasts, and she blocked all of Thor's attacks...

"Hey, I'm not your enemy!" Thor shouted while fending off her attacks.

Carol ignored him, continuing her assault.

"Look, this is the power of thunder. You should know that Skrulls don't have the ability to discharge electricity."

Whether you're right or wrong, if you're just looking for a fight, I'm not interested...

"Stop, I have something to say..."

"Not until you're on the ground!" Carol insisted.

Thor was frustrated. This woman was too reckless. What began as a back-and-forth battle had turned into a relentless fight lasting half an hour.

"Hey, don't you want to know about Dr. Lawson? And your lost memories?" Thor finally offered.

Carol halted, asking, "Do you know about Dr. Lawson? Do you know about my past?"

Thor sighed with relief. His hands were already numb. "I only have a general idea, and you might not believe me if I tell you. If you want to know the full story, come with me, and we'll find someone who can explain."

"Where are we going?"

"To Pancho's Bar."

Chapter 3: Fury

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Thor Odinson, son of Odin from Asgard, the god of thunder and future king. I should be part of your myths and legends. Thor, from Norse mythology, is an Asgardian who once visited Earth and was passed down through stories by soldiers."

In a bar in California, Thor spoke with an air of inherent arrogance to Nick Fury, who had yet to lose his hair. Thor had a vague feeling that his demeanor seemed heavily influenced by the original Thor.

"System, how long have I been in this world?"

Unexpectedly the system replied

"Ding .....Fifteen hundred years, Thor is 1500 years old and your souls are perfectly and completely fused . So you are Thor now, not an impostor in Thor's body"

"Huh?" Nick Fury appeared dazed, his worldview nearly shattered within a day. First aliens, then gods from ancient legends... However, having encountered Carol Danvers first, accepting this was not as difficult.

"Well, it was an honor meeting you," Nick Fury shrugged.

Later, to find clues about the Pegasus project, the three of them headed to the air force base together.

As in the original plot, Nick Fury, displaying the shrewdness of a seasoned veteran, secretly contacted his superior and then discovered something was amiss with his boss...

The difference was that during the retreat, Thor struck the ceiling with Mjölnir, sending a powerful electrical surge through the system, which immediately plunged the entire air force base into darkness.

"This cat is dangerous. I suggest you stay away from it," Thor remarked, watching as Nick Fury played with the cat with an idiotic smile on his face.

Nick Fury should have been on high alert, considering he had witnessed numerous supernatural phenomena today—Carol firing energy blasts, Thor short-circuiting the entire air force base with a hammer, and the Skrulls...

Unfortunately, this creature named "Goose" appeared so harmless, Nick Fury was determined to treat it as an insignificant "cuddle pet."

Petting cats was amusing for a while, and it always seemed enjoyable to Nick Fury, so Thor paid it no further mind.

However, was a Fury with two eyes still considered a Nick Fury?

At that moment, Carol Danvers, who was piloting the plane, turned to Thor and asked, "Can you explain why you're helping us? This situation seems unrelated to you."

"Whether it's the Kree or the Skrull, it has nothing to do with you," she added.

Thor had been very proactive since his arrival, offering help despite having no apparent stake in the matter. If Nick Fury was doing his job, Thor seemed like a typical idle spectator...

Was the heir to the throne of Asgard so idle?

The key issue was that Thor was incredibly strong, which made it difficult for Carol to dismiss him.

Thor had previously stated: "If it were merely an internal dispute on Earth, it would truly be none of my concern. But as a member of the Nine Realms, Earth belongs to Asgard, at least nominally. If beings from other planets land here without a word, we must at least make some sort of statement."

It was clear that Carol did not fully trust the Kree, and the relationship between Earth and Asgard was no secret in the universe.

Nick Fury, while still playing with the cat, caught the underlying meaning of Thor's words and asked, "Nominally? So Earth doesn't actually belong to Asgard?"

He spoke more seriously.

It would be troubling if Earth were considered merely an outpost or even a colony by a higher civilization.

Thor understood what Nick Fury meant and responded calmly, "Don't worry, Earth is independent. Humans have their own formidable Guardians, and their strongest are on par with my father. However, unless the world is facing a major crisis, that organization generally does not interfere."

What Thor said was true. Even if Carol hadn't awakened her powers this time, if Ronan dared to break the rules on Earth, Kamar-Taj would ensure he had no opportunity to admit defeat.

Nick Fury immediately appeared much more relaxed.

Chapter 4: Memory Return

In the living room of Maria Rambeau's house, young Monica watched in awe as Carol Danvers boiled water within seconds using her superpowers. Children, with their rich imaginations, are often more open to new experiences.

"Wow, that's amazing! Is there anything else you can do?" Monica asked, turning her gaze toward Thor.

"You'll have the chance to see even more impressive things. For now, you should have plenty to show your Aunt Carol."

The little girl led Carol into the room, and Thor settled comfortably on the sofa, watching Nick Fury, who seemed intent on scrutinizing him. "Why are you staring at me like that? I don't like being looked at by a man."

Nick Fury asked, puzzled, "Why do I get the feeling you know a lot more than you're letting on? You didn't seem surprised by Vers—oh, I mean Carol Danvers—like you already knew about it."

As expected from the future King of Agents, Fury's observational skills were indeed sharp.

"From the start, you identified her as a Kree, accepted everything she said, and subconsciously aligned with the Kree's narrative. I, however, do not hold such an assumption. From my perspective, neither the Kree nor the Skrulls are particularly peace-loving."

Noting Fury's continued skepticism, Thor added, "And my mother is the greatest sorceress in Asgard."

As Thor spoke, he suddenly threw Mjölnir, brushing past Talos' head behind the door. "After listening for so long, why don't you come out and join the conversation?"

Talos emerged, looking surprised and empty-handed—the only cup of milk tea from the refrigerator was now in Thor's possession.

Carol, having heard the commotion, dashed out and fixed her gaze on Talos, her hands starting to glow with energy.

"Oh, no, no, no, we are not enemies..." Talos said hurriedly, aware of how formidable Carol was. "There's been a lot of misunderstandings. I think we need to talk this out..."

"The last time we spoke, hanging me upside down hardly seems like a misunderstanding," Carol replied, unamused.

Talos quickly retreated, saying, "I didn't know about your previous history with the agency, or how different you are from others..."

Then—

"Meow!!!"

Goose, whose tail had been stepped on, leapt into the air...

"Oh my God! How can there be such a dangerous creature here? Where is it? Keep it away from me!" Talos' face turned an even deeper shade of green. Thor quickly embraced Goose to prevent it from swallowing Talos.

"Ha, dangerous? You're scared of this cat?" Nick Fury laughed heartily. It was amusing to see the guy who pretended to be his boss so frightened by a cat.

As Thor held Goose by the tail, Talos shuddered and continued, "I have a black box from the plane crash years ago. You can listen to it."

The voice from the stereo played, revealing the truth of those past events, and Carol's memories began to return.

As the audio concluded, Carol, now with her memories fully restored, rushed out of the room.

She grasped the truth but struggled to accept the reality of being deceived and exploited for so many years.

"You're Carol Danvers, the one who risked everything to do what was right. You were my best friend, supporting me when no one else would, becoming a mother, and a hero…" Maria Rambeau reassured her, trying to calm her down.

"The real purpose of the Pegasus Project is not to wage wars, but to end them," Thor stated calmly. "Even though you've been deceived for six years, there's still a chance for redemption. You, the Kree, and the Supreme Intelligence will eventually face a reckoning."

Carol's expression gradually softened as she resolved to complete what Dr. Lawson had left unfinished—helping the Skrulls find a safe haven, a new home where the Kree could not reach them.

Chapter V: Star Troopers Appear

At night, the team was discussing their plans for the next day.

"Going to space? Our aircraft can't handle that," Nick Fury said.

"I'll take care of it," Thor replied.

 "Heimdall! Send a ship"

. Moments later, a brilliant beam of light illuminated the courtyard of Maria Rambeau's house, and a formidable spaceship arrived, sent by Bifrost.

"Wow!" Monica exclaimed, "What a magnificent spaceship!"

Thor waved his hand with a smile. "Once the mission is completed, it will be yours."

He had just contacted Heimdall.

Before leaving Thor had requested a small spaceship to be prepared when he asks and also asked Odin to place a protection spell on Mjölnir .

He had a plan for the next day but wanted to ensure that the Kree could not seize the hammer.

"Really? Thank you!" Monica's impression of the kind-hearted Thor improved immediately. At dinner earlier, he had eaten enough for a dozen people, emptying her refrigerator, leaving Monica rather flustered...

In the early morning, Yon-Rogg glared at the body of the Skrull who had been posing as Carol Danvers. He activated his communicator and said sternly, "The Skrulls have infiltrated Planet C-35. Come here immediately."

At the same time, Thor and his team entered Dr. Lawson's laboratory.

"Is this the Tesseract?" Thor asked, observing the energy core—the Tesseract, which contained the Space Stone. It was this very object that led to Thanos' attack on Asgard in the future. Thor clenched his fists, his resolve for the day's mission strengthening.

The Skrulls concealed in the shadows emerged, including Talos' wife and daughter. They embraced each other tightly.

"We don't know what to do. Marvell warned us not to send any messages, or the Kree would find us."

"You're right."

Watching this heartfelt reunion, Carol felt a pang of sorrow. Noticing the fear in the female Skrulls' eyes, she stepped forward and said, "I won't hurt you."

"I'm truly sorry. I didn't know before..."

"Carol, this is war," Talos comforted her. "My hands are also stained with blood. But now, you've brought me here to my family." He bowed his head in gratitude.

After a pause, he continued, "This is just the beginning. Thousands of our people are scattered across the galaxy."

Just then, footsteps were heard, and everyone became immediately alert.

"Enemies among us, right?" Yon-Rogg entered with the Star Troopers. "What happened to your uniform?"

Minerva sneered, "As expected, she was brainwashed by the enemy."

"The Supreme Intelligence will restore her to normal," Colas added.

Yon-Rogg stepped forward. "I trained you to become your best self." At the same time, Carol noticed his energy abruptly diminish, followed by a mocking voice: "What we can give you, I can also take away."

Before he could finish, a flash of lightning struck him, sending him flying. "Am I so insignificant? Come on, show me what you've got." Thor's anger flared.

Simultaneously, pieces of fish-scale armor materialized from the thin air, covering Thor's arms, and a set of thick black plate armor encased his chest, making him appear even more imposing.

"Drink!" Thor roared, lifting Mjölnir high. As he spun the hammer rapidly, a tornado storm formed, combining death and lightning. It was as if a god had descended to the earth.

The bearded Branchal charged forward but was caught in the storm, sent flying several hundred meters by a powerful blast, unable to rise for some time.

The Star Troopers faced the opposition, and Yon-Rogg signaled. A wave of Kree soldiers surged forward...
