Leon readied himself and looked around the room. He noticed a sword leaning against the wall and remembered that Walter wanted to talk about it, so he took the sword with him and started walking towards Walter's room. As he was in the hallway, he was spotted by Arnold, who had been ordered by Walter to bring Leon with him.
Arnold approached Leon and said, "Sir Leon, my lord Walter wants to see you. Can you come with me?"
Leon replied, "Okay, I am on my way to meet Walter, so let's go together."
They both walked to Walter's room. Arnold knocked a few times, and upon receiving permission to enter, they stepped inside. Leon saw two beautiful ladies sitting on chairs and, as he looked further, he saw Walter seated at his desk. Leon walked towards Walter and greeted him, "Did you call me, Sir Walter?"
Walter rose from his chair, walked towards Leon, and put a hand on his shoulder. "Yes, I called you because I wanted to introduce you to someone," he said.
Walter turned towards Ker and said, "This is Ker. Introduce yourself to her, Leon."
Leon was surprised that Walter was introducing Ker to him. He didn't mind the introduction because he was new here and didn't fully understand how this world worked. He accepted Walter's invitation and looked at Ker with a smile on his face, saying, "Nice to meet you, my lady. I am Leon."
Ker looked at Leon with an amused smile. He was handsome, but she sensed no warrior spirit in him. "Hello there, I am Ker," she said.
Baillie, sitting beside her mother, was amazed to see Leon. She never expected to see the person she had seen in the bathroom so soon. She wanted to ask Walter about it later.
Walter, standing beside Leon, noticed Ker's lack of interest in him and began to explain why he wanted her to be there. "Ker, I want you to adopt Leon as your son."
Ker was taken aback by Walter's request. "What do you mean by adopt him as my son, Walter? Why do I have to adopt a son who has no warrior spirit inside him?"
Walter smiled and replied, "Of course, Leon has no battle experience because he is a newborn God, a complete God, and he has also received two abilities from the world will."
Ker was surprised to hear that Leon had received two abilities from the world will. Those who received two abilities were considered prestigious and high-level figures, destined to achieve great things. Even if the abilities seemed useless initially, they could become incredibly powerful over time.
"I see," Ker said. "But why don't you adopt him into your family instead of mine?" She knew that Walter was a slow poison type of person, and she was cautious of his motives.
Walter returned to his chair, sat down, and placed his hands on the table. "Because I want to send my granddaughter and Leon to the God Academy this starting year."
Ker was even more amazed. Sending a stranger alongside his granddaughter was unusual. She realized that Walter wanted to ensure Leon's potential was nurtured and that he would benefit from Leon's growth.
Ker leaned back in her chair and looked at Leon with a long stare. "So, what are the abilities he has?" she asked.
Walter, looking excited, turned to Leon and said, "Leon, tell us about the abilities given to you by the world will."
Leon was amazed by the situation and Walter's plan to send him to the God Academy with his granddaughter Flora. Despite the jealousy and animosity he had felt from Walter, he saw this as an opportunity to understand and develop himself in this world.
"I have two abilities," Leon began. "One is barrier control, and the other is blood control, or hemokinesis, which allows me to manipulate blood however I want."
Ker understood what Leon was saying and responded, "Okay, I will make him my son, but there are conditions to be fulfilled. If he accepts them, I will adopt him as my son."
Leon, eager not to miss this opportunity, readily agreed. "Yes, what are the conditions? I will accept them," he said with excitement.
Ker smiled. "Don't be so hasty. First, listen to my conditions. My first condition is that you change your name to Ker Ajax from now on. You will be called Ajax because you are my son, and in my family, all children must have their mother's name first. My second condition is that you learn swordsmanship before joining the God Academy because I don't want my son to appear weak in front of everyone. These are my conditions. Can you agree to them?"
Leon, who had always been an orphan and longed for family love, was overjoyed. He had failed to protect his family in the past but now saw a chance to experience and protect that love again. He swore to himself that he would do anything to make it happen.
"Yes, I will accept all those conditions. You can add more if you want," Leon said cheerfully.
Ker smiled and said, "Okay, you will be my son from now on. Your name is Ker Ajax." She approached Leon, now Ker Ajax, and patted his head.
Walter said, "Okay, now it's all settled. Leon is now Ker Ajax. Since he has become Ker's son, why don't we discuss further?"
Leon, feeling like a child seeking his mother's attention, was a bit frustrated by Walter's interruption but understood that he could have this love after the discussion was over.
Ker, on the other hand, concluded, "Don't worry. He will be my son. No further discussion is needed."
Ajax remembered that Walter wanted to talk about the sword. He looked at Walter and said, "Lord Walter, you wanted to talk about the sword Flora gave me. If you are free, why don't you tell me about it now?"
Walter, recalling the discussion about the sword, walked towards Ajax with a smile and said, "Okay, I will tell you. Give me the sword."
Ajax handed the sword to Walter.
