Chapter 19 - ker entry to duke walter home

As the teleportation device installed in Duke Walter's house glowed with a blue light, the guard on duty immediately noticed. He called all the guards in the vicinity, preparing for a potential enemy intrusion. The captain of the guard group ordered, "Inform the head butler Arnold immediately."

The guard standing beside him responded with a quick "Yes," and hurried off to inform Arnold. As the blue light intensified, the guards remained on high alert, their eyes fixed on the teleportation circle. When the light subsided, two women emerged from the circle.

Seeing one of the women covered in blood from head to toe, the guards readied themselves for battle. The head guard stepped forward and demanded, "Who are you? State your name!"

Ker, with a smile on her face, said nothing and stepped forward. Interpreting her silence as a threat, the head guard immediately ordered, "All guards, take your positions and attack!"

The guards launched their attack in a coordinated pattern, ensuring what they believed would be a swift victory. However, Ker, frustrated with Walter, moved swiftly and banged the head guard's head, rendering him unconscious. The other guards, seeing their leader defeated in an instant, panicked and tried to attack her. But Ker, a lover of war and combat, effortlessly knocked them down. Some guards had broken limbs, some had their arms injured, and others were severely wounded, screaming in pain. Ker surveyed the chaos she had caused with a satisfied smile.

Meanwhile, a guard burst into the room where Arnold was serving his master, Walter. Without showing any respect, he blurted out, "Sir Walter, the teleportation device has been activated, and someone has beaten up all the guards!" His voice was filled with panic.

Walter, recognizing the urgency in the guard's voice, stood up. He knew it was Ker, but he hadn't expected her to arrive so soon. He had thought she would take a week or so. Now, he worried not for himself but for the guards responsible for protecting the teleportation circle. He knew Ker had no sense of decorum or nobility. She must have received the letter while on the battlefield and come straight to meet him. The guards, unaware of her identity, must have attacked her.

Rushing out of the room, Walter hoped to reach Ker before she caused any more damage. He was aware of her resentment towards him and knew she wouldn't show mercy to the guards. His head throbbed as he imagined the scene awaiting him.

Upon arriving at the teleportation circle, Walter saw the guards beaten to a pulp. He realized that Ker had vented her frustration on them, and he felt a sense of relief that her anger had been partially spent. He saw Ker sitting on the body of a large, unconscious guard, and memories of their old days as battlefield partners came flooding back. She always had a habit of making a chair out of her enemies.

Walter approached her and said, "It's been centuries, Ker. It looks like your hobby of beating up soldiers and making a chair out of them hasn't diminished."

Hearing Walter's voice, Ker replied, "Yes, do you think a century of life can change someone like me? But you certainly have changed."

Walter glanced at her blood-stained clothes and sword, knowing she hadn't changed one bit. Ker, looking at Walter, asked teasingly, "Why did you call me here? Surely, it wasn't just to look at me?"

Walter laughed heartily. "Yes, I wanted to see you," he said, bending down slightly to adjust a strand of her hair that had fallen over her face.

Ker blushed slightly and punched his stomach, saying, "Stop it, you bastard! What are you doing?"

Walter, hit by her rock-solid punch, coughed a little and said, "I wanted to talk to you first, but before that…" He noticed a woman standing beside Ker. It was Brielle, who looked almost identical to Ker, except for her hair color.

Ker noticed Walter staring at her daughter and pinched his cheek. "Walter, stop looking at my daughter like that. Okay, Brielle, introduce yourself."

Brielle stepped forward, bowed slightly to Walter, and said, "Sorry for the trouble my mother caused. Nice to meet you, sir. I am Brielle."

Walter was shocked. "Your daughter?" He never thought this woman would have a child, let alone contact with a man to make a baby. He knew anyone strong enough to be with Ker must be as strong as or stronger than her. His mind began scheming, thinking of how to make that person his ally.

Ker, sensing his thoughts, interrupted. "I didn't marry or make contact with any man. I used my power to create a technique that allows me to have a child without a man's help. Of course, it requires a living person or baby to complete the process."

Walter was astonished. The bloodthirsty Ker, known as the War Blood Goddess, had the brainpower to invent such an advanced technique. "Ker, did you really invent that technique on your own?" he asked.

With a tone suggesting she was more than just a bloodthirsty warrior, Ker replied, "Of course I did. But I also found an old ruin that gave me the idea. Brielle is 99% identical to me."

Walter, still amazed, said, "Okay, you made that technique." Then, addressing her like a small, angry girl, he continued, "I wanted to talk to you about something important, but first, go and freshen up. We will sit down and discuss it."

Ker agreed. "Okay, where's the bathroom? I'll wash up first." She asked Arnold, who was standing behind Walter.

Walter, observing Ker's behavior, accepted it as it was. She always did things her way without thinking, even though she wasn't in her home. He knew there was no way to control her like before.

Ker looked at her daughter and said, "Brielle, what are you standing there for? Come with me to the bath." She dragged her daughter towards the bathroom.

Walter sighed and ordered the other guards, "Help those who are wounded or have fractures. Give them first aid, and those who are seriously injured, transfer them to the hospital." With that, he left the teleportation room.
