A single tear falls down my face.
"But what?" I answer.
"I don't know what exactly that means to you, but he is actually alive. When you died your spirits were together untill you were separated by the council and you were brought to meet them." She responded slowly waiting for my reaction.
I couldn't believe what she said. My head.began to feel dizzy and I couldn't help but feel like throwing up. "I'm.. confused." I slowly whisper.
"You stayed together untill you were taken. The council has sought after you for a reason. And something is telling me that you are the missing piece of the story making since."
She tells me.
"I think you were caught in the middle of something bigger than you."
I had so many questions at that point, what did she know? How long had it been since Charles had come back? Where was he? Was he safe?
My head was spinning.
"Where is he??" I demanded. "I have to get to him." I demanded again.
"He was on his way to find you in Colorado but he lost you in New Mexico." The oracle told me.
I stood up immediately and locked eyes with the oracle. "I... I should thank you, but I never got your name." I told her extending out my hand, and she stood up too and couldn't hide the regret on her face.
"But there's more." She tries but in my head it was already too late. She looks me deep in my eyes and sighs when I don't let her in. "There's been a disruption in the balance of life and death... And you are in the middle, I'm afraid."
She says to me. But I made up my mind. I needed to find Charles.
So I left in a blur of regret and fighting back tears. My boyfriend had been in total danger without me. Because of me. And I didn't even know it.

I walked straight out of the house with a plan, well kinda, in my head, but I didn't know one thing first. How was I going to find Charlie.
Nothing else really mattered In my head at that point. I was gonna find him.
Everything in me was telling me I needed Charlie, he was my safe place in all this current disaster that was going on. I could escape the trackers, find Charlie and we would be safe. At least deep down I knew he would protect me.
And maybe he was looking for me too.
