Jimin was standing in a dark, fog-filled place where nothing was visible. He strained to see, but the dense fog obscured everything.
"Jimin," a voice called from behind . He turned, trying to make out the figure in the dark. It was Ming, his body scattered with stab wounds, blood still flowing down.Jimin's heart pounded against his ribcage.
"Why did you kill me, Jimin?" Ming asked, his voice haunting and filled with sorrow.
Tears streamed down Jimin's face. He tried to speak, but his voice failed him.
"I wanted to live. Why didn't you save me?" Ming's bloodied hand reached out, grabbing Jimin's. He tried to pull away, but Ming's grip was firm.Jimin trembled with fear.
"Tell me, why did you take my life?" Ming shouted.
"I'm sorry," Jimin cried, his words barely audible. "I'm really sorry."
He felt like he couldn't breathe. He woke up with a jerk, breathing heavily. The sound of birds chirping told him it was already morning. From the day he woke up, he had never slept in peace again. His nights were haunted with nightmares, waking him up crying and screaming.
He was again in his beautiful cage.It had been two days since he woke up. Aunt Lily would come to give him meals. Jin would occasionally visit him, and during one of these visits, Jin told him that Taehyung was busy and wouldn't come. Jimin didn't know why Jin told him this, but he felt relieved. Seeing Taehyung triggered memories of that day.
Feeling an overwhelming thirst, Jimin reached for the glass of water on his bedside table. As he lifted it, his hands seemed slick with blood. Horror washed over him, and he let the glass slip from his grasp. It shattered on the floor with a piercing crash. He stared at his hands in panic, but they were clean.
The sight of the shattered glass glinting on the floor sent a chilling thought through his mind.
I don't deserve to live," he murmured. "It would be better for me to die. Yes, a murderer like me deserves to die," he said crazily.
Taking a sharp shard of glass with his trembling hands, he pressed it against his wrist slicing through the skin. A sob escaped his lips as pain shot through him, but with grim determination, he cut deeper. Blood poured from the wound, soaking his hand and dripping onto the floor.Weak and light-headed he lay on his back, staring at the ceiling as his vision blurred. Blood pooled around his wrist, staining the white sheets crimson. Slowly, his eyelids grew heavy, and he passed out.
As usual Aunt Lily entered the room. Her eyes widened in horror seeing the scene in front of her.
Jimin lay motionless on the bed, his wrist slashed and blood smeared everywhere. The sheets were drenched, and a dark red stain spread out beneath him. Shards of glass glinted ominously on the floor, and the air was thick with the metallic scent of blood.
She dropped the tray she was carrying, the clatter echoing through the room as she rushed to Jimin's side, shouting for help, her heart pounding with fear.
Horrified, she ran out of the room screaming. Taehyung and Hoseok rushed out of the office at the sound of her cries
.She came running toward them. "Yo...young master, he..." she stammered, tears streaming down her face.
"What happened to him?" Hoseok demanded, his voice tense.
Seeing her terrified expression, Taehyung stormed toward the room. The sight of Jimin lying lifeless on the bed struck him with a strange, overwhelming emotion.
He sprinted to Jimin and carefully lifted him into his arms.
Jin emerged from his room, half asleep, rubbing his eyes. "What happened, Hoseok? Why is it so loud?" he asked.
"Something's happened to Jimin," Hoseok replied, his voice shaking.
Taehyung came down the stairs with Jimin in his arms, his body almost lifeless. He carried him to the medical room and gently placed him on the bed.
The nurse, startled, rushed over to check on Jimin. His breathing was shallow, barely there.
Jin entered the room, and Taehyung gripped his arm tightly. "Don't let anything happen to him," he ordered, his voice deadly calm.
"If anything happens to him, I'll kill everyone here," he said, his eyes blazing with fury.
"Taehyung, calm down. Let me treat him first," Jin said firmly. Taehyung reluctantly released his arm, stepping back to let Jin work.
Jin quickly assessed the situation. He saw the deep cut on Jimin's wrist and the significant blood loss.
Moving swiftly, he grabbed a pair of gloves and a tourniquet.
" Hold his arm up," Jin instructed.
Jin wrapped the tourniquet tightly above the cut to further restrict the blood flow.
"Stay with me, Jimin," Jin muttered as he cleaned the wound with antiseptic. The nurse handed him sterile gauze, and he applied pressure to the cut to control the bleeding.
"We need to replace the lost blood," Jin said, glancing at the nurse.
"Get me a unit of O-negative blood" he ordered as he doesn't know Jimin's blood type and they don't have time.
O-negative blood is considered the universal donor type, safe to transfuse to patients of any blood type in emergencies.
She nodded and quickly prepared an IV with saline solution and a unit of blood. Jin inserted the IV into Jimin's arm, starting the transfusion.
As the blood flowed into Jimin's veins, Jin focused on suturing the wound. He carefully stitched the severed skin, ensuring the stitches were tight enough to hold but not so tight that they would cause additional damage.
"We need to monitor his vitals closely," Jin instructed the nurse, who began attaching electrodes to Jimin's chest to monitor his heart rate and blood pressure.Jin then checked Jimin's pulse and breathing, relieved to find them stabilizing.
The nurse handed Jin a bandage, and he carefully wrapped it around Jimin's wrist, securing it with medical tape.
"We need to keep the wound clean and watch for any signs of infection," Jin reminded the nurse
Jin walked toward Taehyung who was standing there with a worried Hoseok.
Taehyung's eyes remained fixed on Jimin's pale face, with mixed emotions in his gaze.
"He'll be okay, Taehyung," Jin said reassuringly.
"But he needs to rest now."Taehyung nodded, as he watched the steady rise and fall of his chest.
