„We also need to earn some money or join a sect since I need new techniques, my old ones are only useful in the Body Refinement Realm after all."
‚Why would you need techniques though?' Karl asked. ‚With your level of comprehension you should be easily able to create your own techniques that are better than the rubbish you can get on this planet.'
Kael suddenly realized that he was right. When he mastered the Explosive Fist technique and the Quick Gale Steps to Limit Breaker within just a day he realized that his comprehension was pretty high.
But he never even thought about creating his own techniques. Most people who create techniques only do it in higher realms since you need a high amount of knowledge about the cultivation realms and how energy works.
But the grade of Kael's comprehension is still outside the system. Even after he increased his authority. If he still couldn't create his own techniques he was really a waste.
‚The only problem is that I still don't really know what techniques are fitting for my constitution.'
‚I've never even heard of the elements chaos and void.' Kael thought. ‚I guess they are pretty rare. But how am I going to create a technique for myself if I don't even know what benefits my affinities grant me?'
‚Hmph, what would you even do without me helpless human.' Karl suddenly spoke inside Kael's mind. ‚From the memories I got through my bloodline I also learned about the elements and affinities there are.'
‚The most important benefit of affinities is not that you can use these elements in combat right now.' Karl explained. ‚The real benefits only show from the Energy Sea Realm. There you need to comprehend intent of certain aspects of reality. Later on you will need to comprehend Rules and Laws. There are some higher concepts but my bloodline inheritance won't tell me about them yet.'
,The most important thing is that Intents, Rules and Laws are divided into 4 grades. The lowest grade are the 3000 minor laws. They are alone standing concepts like heat, growth, vitality, cold.'
‚The next grade are medium laws which integrate several minor laws into one. Their strength varies depending on how many minor laws they are made up of. One example for a medium law would be the law of sword. It is made up of the minor laws of sharpness, cutting, hardness and so on.'
‚You could also integrate the law of fire, which is also a medium law, into your sword law. This would turn it into the fiery sword law which in theory should be stronger but it always depends on the user and their understanding.'
‚The next higher grade are the 10 Great Laws. They each make up a major aspect of reality and are sometimes fusions of very many Medium Laws.'
‚The Great Laws are the Law of Life and Death, Space, Time, Destruction, Creation, Reincarnation, Five Elements, Cause and Effect, Soul, Light and Darkness and the law of Yin-Yang.'
‚Those are generally the peak laws that most beings can ever hope to achieve but there are 4 even higher laws. The Supreme Laws.'
‚Those are made up of 4 different laws of which 2 always make up two opposing concepts. They are the law of Chaos, the law of Void, the law of Fate and the law of Space-Time.'
‚Doesn't that mean that both of us have an affinity to two of the supreme laws?' Kael suddenly asked.
Kael rolled his eyes and just continued. ‚Will you let me finish already, I would have gotten to that later on but now you ruined it.'
‚As I was saying, two of these laws are always opposing each other. Those are Chaos and Void, as well as Fate and Space-Time.'
‚This is also what makes the both of us so special. As far as I know there has never been a being with an affinity to two supreme laws. And we even always have the two that are opposites. I still don't know how we were even allowed to exist.'
‚But that are the basics. Let me tell you what I know about the 4 Supreme Laws now.'
‚Chaos is the law that contains every single minor, major and great law. This means that you can control all of them. But not only that you can even fuse all laws together to use just the law of chaos which is extremely strong.'
‚The law of Nothingness on the other hand doesn't contain a single minor or higher law. This should theoretically put it at the level of a minor law itself but it is such an important aspect of reality and also the opposite of the chaos law. This in accordance with its strength also puts it as a Supreme law.'
‚Now to their abilities. Since chaos is responsible for the creation of basically everything it excels at creating and controlling. Of course it's also good at destruction since it contains the law of destruction but it's not on the law of void.'
‚Void is a very weird law and also has other names like nothingness and it's also the most mysterious of all laws.'
‚The void is a place where no normal life exists. This means that anything that enters it is instantly destroyed. That's also the reason why the Void law is considered very destructive. But it's not a normal destruction but instead not like anything that's afflicted with an attack that has the void law will instead vanish. Forever erased from existence.'
‚Aside from the creation and life that is associated with Chaos and the destruction and death that is associated as void, there is also another reason why these two are opposites. But I don't know it at the moment.'
Kael needed to think for a moment. He was bombarded with an insane amount of information that he couldn't deal with in a short time span.
The ability he gained seemed to mostly fall into line with what Karl told him but there was something different.
If Kael had to describe his ability he wouldn't describe his two states as creation and destruction. Instead he would say that he associated Chaos with Existence and Void with a form of Nonexistence.
This was also the reason why Kael seemed to disconnect from reality when he turned into to nothingness. He was in a state of nonexistence at that moment and his mind seemed to disconnect from existence.
Kael thought that Void was not only a dangerous element for himself but also for his enemies.
‚If i want to create combat techniques for my chaos element I will probably only need to fuse a huge amount of techniques with different elements into one.'
‚Void however will be harder. For that I would need to understand the void element with the help of my body and soul and then apply it into a technique for my usage.'
‚Since I need a lot of different techniques to create my own, we should probably join a sect now.' Kael said to Karl.
‚This will also align with my second goal. Heading to the battlefield. Since you can take on sect missions that require you to fight for green star, a sect will be the best place to grow and earn fighting experience at the same time.'
‚If I show high enough talent I can probably even attract attention of the higher ups and gain extra resources.'
Karl mostly agreed with Kael's plan. He also needed to create his techniques and needed some resources. He also added that not only could you gain resources from the sect but also loot them from enemies you beat on the battlefield.
But before heading to register at a sect and finally leaving this damn cave, Kael still had to break through to the Energy Refinement Realm.
After all this cave had the perfect environment with a high concentration of spiritual energy.
He also needed to break through before registering at a sect since he couldn't explain his high combat power otherwise.
So after telling Karl about his plans, Kael sat down cross legged and began absorbing spiritual energy.
