Ayra went over the importance of the text for a while longer before she left and Arlder took over the class.
Initially he planned on taking them out for some physical training but because of the punishment they recently received it would be hard for the students to keep up so instead he decided to walk them through a lecture on the approved team formations.
Luck reclined his seat a little as he listened to the lecture. According to Arlder team formations in the academy consisted of 4 people, although this was not compulsory it was seen as the best combination because of the various formations they could employ.
The team often has a leader, one support teammate and two others.
Depending on the difficulty of the mission a higher ranking Venator may be attached to a team in order to ensure their safety.
After going over a few more details Arlder dismissed the class.
"I will cover the rest of the class on our next mission. Also everyone will be coming for the next mission." This was the last thing Arlder said before leaving the class.
Even after the class Layla didn't speak a peep to Luck although they both walked back to the academy apartment building together.
He had to stop when they arrived at her room though, she paused for a moment as if contemplating something and then entered into the room shutting the door behind her.

It was getting dark, Layla already had her dinner hours ago and was now glancing at the gigantic textbook that Arlder gave them.
She began from the first page and slowly began flipping through but there was one problem.
Although she was flipping through the pages which made it seem like she was making some sort of progress in reality she wasn't getting anything she was reading and was now basically staring at the pictures.
This was because of one person and that person was Luck.
They hadn't spoken at all today or rather she had not spoken to him even though he made many attempts.
'Why am I ignoring him though, I don't care about what he does in his free time right?' She questioned herself.
'It has to be because of his poor morals. Yes! That is why I am angry. How could he walk into the room of a girl he barely knew?' She thought, adjusting herself in her seat.
"But maybe I should forgive him at least, he's probably confused right now." She said out loud.
As she continued her trail of thought she stared at the alarm clock that was placed right in front of her.
It was already 12 AM!
'How long have I been thinking about this?' Layla wondered as she got up from her chair.
She had made no progress at all in her study that night.
She sighed, got up and paced around the room aimlessly.
This was around the time that Luck would normally start his night strolls, although he didn't go out every single night if she was lucky he would be out this night.
'Maybe I should settle things with him.' She quickly put on a shirt and joggers and exited her room.
As she got to the door that led to the roof she was about to use her enigma to cloak herself in the shadows but decided against it.
She has been trying to master her enigma for a while now and has been training tirelessly by keeping her enigma active all the time.
Her plan was to get a better feel of her enigma and increase her body's synergy with it. Although this was an old method of training she still considered it to be very effective.
When she originally started she could only use her enigma for a couple of hours but after months of training she could now go more on for more than a day as long as she was just using it for stealth.
She recently went past her old record this being the third day of her sprint but she reached her limit early in the morning.
At this point she was already burnt out, using her enigma now wasn't really a good idea so she decided to go without it.
There was no sign of Luck when she went through the door, everything was quiet just like it normally was. The only sound present was the sound of wind whistling past the building and the distant sounds of people down the street.
Layla walked over to the edge of the building and peered down, although it was late at night a number of people were still awake.
The lights from various buildings brightened up the environment and there were still a few people that could be seen on the street.
'Maybe he's not coming out this night?' Layla wondered as she rested on the edge. She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed, she was finally going to forgive him but he stood her up!
Yes they didn't have any plans of meeting this night but even if! He should have been here.
She closed her eyes listening to the gentle sound of the breeze when a new melody was added into the mix, a sharp whistling sound that only got louder by the second, a sound she recognized easily.
She swiftly dashed to the left as a glint of silver whistled past her, planting itself where she once stood.
"I see you're as sharp as ever." A voice came from within the darkness.
"Who are you?" Layla asked.
She could already locate her enemy within the darkness, he was good at concealing himself but without the shadow clans most converted enigma it was still inferior before her eyes.
"So you can see me," the male voice chuckled before emerging from the darkness. "You never really deserved such power," he spat his voice full of envy.
The man that stood before her had been her teacher in the past. When she was younger he lectured her just like the rest of the children in the clan, at a point she even felt like she was one of his favorite students.
When it became known that she inherited the Shadow clans most converted enigma she noticed a change in the way he related with her, he became somewhat cold and that coldness slowly transitioned into hatred.
The reason was simple, everyone in the shadow clan longed for this technique. Not only was it the most powerful technique in the clan, it could also be seamlessly applied into their fighting styles with ease which made the user far more powerful.
Parents who didn't inherit the technique wished it upon their children and as such were filled with envy each time they saw anyone else manifest the enigma.
For this very reason her enigma was hidden from the public until she turned 13 for her own safety.
Layla manifesting the enigma was bound to cause an uproar in the clan because currently there were only 3 people who possessed the enigma and two of them were her and her elder sister.
Luckily for them her father is the younger brother of the current clan head, this gave them some level of protection but even that had its limit, especially when they were away from the clan.
"What are you doing here?" Layla asked as she observed the area around him to ensure that he was alone.
"It is time for your assessment is it not?"
Members of the shadow clan, especially those thought to be exceptional, were normally challenged regularly to ensure that they never slacked and were always on their guard.
She already knew about this but because of her training she had opted out of this month's evaluation.
If it was someone else then maybe she would have been able to defeat them without her enigma but this was her teacher, she would need everything in her arsenal if she wanted to defeat him.
