Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 - Mad Dogs

"Yeah."

After a silent nod, the three sergeants and Sergeant Volkov advanced toward the innocent cadets.

As they advanced toward the gym in the darkness of the night, Volkov and the sergeants caught a glimpse of a 'lost' cadet, possibly in the middle of his patrol. He had gotten the urge to go to the bathroom and couldn't find a better place than a tree at the edge of the gym's perimeter.

"Haaa… shit, this stupid mission, and that busty bitch is going to finish me…"

Volkov and the sergeants froze as they listened to the cadet urinating and looking at the cloudy sky while he criticized the captain.

"...Sergeants, use the taser. Point it at what he's holding in his hand and use a voltage that could knock down a bull... And don't forget to clothe the cadet"

Volkov shuddered when he heard Captain Garcia's voice over the intercom. When he turned around, he could see the other sergeants looking at each other.

Boy, you only have yourself to blame for being born with a big mouth.

While the cadet was urinating, he felt a movement just behind the tree. Before he could even pull up his pants, a stinging sensation rose up the inside of his thigh, and immediately a jolt spread throughout his body.

Shit, I couldn't even pull up my pants...

With that last thought, the cadet fell forward, fainting and soaked in his own urine. The sergeants, looking at the disastrous image, closed their eyes and decided to move forward, leaving the poor cadet passed out and not knowing until the last moment what had happened.

"Ahem, captain, the boy…"

"I know, Lieutenant, he has already received his punishment, but his lack of rigor cannot go unpunished."

Who are you trying to fool? He bothered you because the child insulted you.

Of course, that thought remained in the minds of the two lieutenants. They knew this woman well enough to know that some things are better left unsaid.

Before they could continue the conversation, a melodic tone echoed from the computer.

"Hmm?"

With a curious look, Captain Garcia opened the notification.

"This is…"

****

Bam.

"Governor…"

In an office located in the center of the Northern Eastern Hemisphere, a middle-aged man was calmly looking at his computer. He was a little surprised by the abrupt entrance of his secretary, but upon seeing his urgent face, he assumed that it was not the time to beat around the bush.

Huff huff huff

"... And well?"

Seeing how his secretary was slowly composing herself, he decided to ask what was so urgent that she had barged in.

"I'm sorry, governor, huff, huff, but it is necessary that you review this document brought by internal affairs."

Upon hearing 'internal affairs,' the man's eyes trembled briefly. For any civil official, hearing that someone was coming from there was like hearing that the horsemen of the apocalypse were coming to judge their actions.

And upon receiving the letter from his secretary, even the governor's hands trembled. Internal affairs were the judges who handed down the sentence, but only he and a few people at the top would recognize the symbol on this letter.

The symbol consisted of a black scale, the body was a sword, and the arms were one above and one below. The most disturbing thing was what had replaced the pommel of the sword: it was an eye with a small red tear.

The symbol as a whole gave an ominous feeling, as if a prisoner under the watchful eye of an impassive judge had received a death sentence.

A shiver ran through the governor's body. He knew what it meant: the dogs of the confederation, those that even parliament could not control. If the confederacy remained standing today, it was because of these people. It was a group that had the same authority as the internal affairs office and the military court.

Of course, only when there were cases in which there was suspicion of rebellion, attack, or treason.

Haaa, what idiot has leaked information to these monsters?

While thoughts formed in the governor's mind, with an exaggerated sigh, he opened the letter.

'After an exhaustive investigation, the justice office has detected small pockets of resistance in the Eastern Northern Hemisphere area. Please cooperate.'

Absurd. That was the only word that came to Liam's mind. The governor knew that this letter was just a warning, a warning from these mad dogs not to get in their way and to observe obediently while they did their job.

"Haaa… Richard, report to Police Chief Jensen. Tell him to cooperate with… Hey! The justice office."

How could he not laugh? These bastards called themselves the justice office. He could also dress up as a ballerina and call himself Tinker Bell...
